According to the occurrence of many security incidents, the SOC(Security Operation Center) and SIEM(Security Information & Event Management) are concentrated recently. The various studies and commercial products of the information security industry are being released. As reflected in this situation, NIST in the US is publishing and revising the document about the Cybersecurity Framework. In this study, we investigated the NIST's Cyberseurity Framework, trends in SOC and SIEM security technologies and solutions, and also introduce the open source Apache Metron of a real-time Bigdata security tool.

There are multiple reasons that caused the present serious status of network security, including Internet itself having a weak basis. However security is usually discarded when it contends with performance. As the world becomes more tightly interconnected, security technology continues to mature, organizations are feeling a greater need to rediscover network security. Network security technology generally concentrates on protection of the network infrastructure and, by implication, the protection of the user. This study aims to provide an in-depth description of the practices of social media users in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)-specifically the users of Facebook and Snapchat-and the reasons for these practices, the decisions made, and the people involved. Qualitative methods were used to collect data in two rounds from 53 participants. The data analysis shows a clear preference for Snapchat over Facebook among the participants, as shown in their using the application many times daily and in the creation and use of new words derived from the application's name. On the other hand, one of the main reasons mentioned by the participants for not preferring Facebook was the unclear policy of security and privacy used in the application. This reason is important for all social media users, but, in particular, it is crucial for female users, as shown in the data. This is important for the designers and policymakers of the social media applications to understand and consider, as it would help them improve the current applications and create new ones.

The main objective of this paper is to probe the extent to which misinformation propagated through the different social media platforms contribute effectively in the process of directing, shaping and reshaping societal awareness of Saudis. In so doing, this paper attempts to delve into the relationship between linguistic misinformation and societal awareness, by exploring the perception of Saudis towards social media news, particularly misinformation and the extent to which this misinformation influences the social attitudes of Saudis in terms of various societal issues. Two main research questions are addressed in this study. First, to what extent does social media misinformation affect Saudis' awareness? Second, what are the linguistic manifestations of misinformation presented in the different social platforms? Two main findings have been recorded in this study: first, misinformation significantly contributes to the societal awareness of Saudis; and, second, however misinformation is linguistically manifested at the different levels of linguistic analysis, it is highly representative at the lexicalization level of language use.

With the advent of ubiquitous computing society, many advanced technologies have enabled wireless sensor networks which consist of small sensor nodes. However, the sensor nodes have limited computing resources such as small size memory, low battery life, short transmission range, and low computational capabilities. Thus, decreasing energy consumption is one of the most significant issues in wireless sensor networks. In addition, numerous applications for wireless sensor networks are recently spreading to various fields (health-care, surveillance, location tracking, unmanned monitoring, nuclear reactor control, crop harvesting control, u-city, building automation etc.). For many of them, supporting security functionalities is an indispensable feature. Especially in case wireless sensor networks should provide a sufficient variety of security functions, sensor nodes are required to have more powerful performance and more energy demanding features. In other words, simultaneously providing security features and saving energy faces a trade-off problem. This paper presents a novel energy-efficient security architecture in an IEEE 802.15.4-based wireless sensor network called the Hybrid Adaptive Security (HAS) framework in order to resolve the trade off issue between security and energy. Moreover, we present a performance analysis based on the experimental results and a real implementation model in order to verify the proposed approach.

Today, phishing attacks represent one of the biggest security threats targeting users of the digital world. They consist of an attempt to steal sensitive information, such as a user's identity or credit and debit card details, using various methods that include fake emails, fake websites, and fake social media messages. Protecting the user's security and privacy therefore becomes complex, especially when those users are children. Currently, children are participating in Internet activity more frequently than ever before. This activity includes, for example, online gaming, communication, and schoolwork. However, children tend to have a less well-developed knowledge of privacy and security concepts, compared to adults. Consequently, they often become victims of cybercrime. In this paper, the effects of security awareness on users who are children are investigated, looking at their ability to detect phishing attacks in social media. In this approach, two Experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of security awareness on WhatsApp application users in their daily communication. The results of the Experiments revealed that phishing awareness training has a significant positive effect on the ability of children using WhatsApp to identify phishing messages and thereby avoid attacks.

The media is an effective means of preventing crime. It can be known to members of the media presiding over the most widely and rapidly. Because of this, the mass media is a good way to prevent such crime. Related to general crime, marine crime will have unique characteristics and about Crimes reported by the media, it is also true. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, it is required that the more accurate present article must be published and reported. Secondly, for more accurate presentation of measure, there is a need to enhance professional training for reporters. Thirdly, the marine weather report is the most important political purpose of considering marine crime prevention. Forthly, marine crime is likely to be a lack of evidence. Therefore, in order to supplement the lack of evidence maritime security agency should be utilized for a news source.qualification Fifthly, the need for regular inspection of the articles is requested. Sixthly, for judicial control maintenance of the media related laws should be strengthened. Finally, the arbitration institution for media rights should be established under the Korea Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport. This is practical action for marine crime prevention.

Current trends in information system have led many companies to adopt security solutions. However, even with a large budget, they cannot function properly without proper security monitoring that manages them. Security monitoring necessitates a quick response in the event of a problem, and it is needed to design appropriate visualization dashboards for monitoring purposes so that necessary information can be delivered quickly. This paper shows how to visualize a security log using the open source program Elastic Stack and demonstrates that the proposed method is suitable for network security monitoring by implementing it as a appropriate dashboard for monitoring purposes. We confirmed that the dashboard was effectively exploited for the analysis of abnormal traffic growth and attack paths.

Through previous studies, it was found that news from legacy media, including television, has an agenda-setting effect and priming effect on the perceptions and attitudes of audiences about politics and war, and that film media also has an agenda-setting effect and political priming effect on war issues. However, it is difficult to find studies on the effects of war-related TV documentaries on media audiences. Therefore, in this study, An experimental study was conducted to investigate whether there is a change in 'recognition of the importance of security', 'will for South-North Unification' and 'will to participate in war in case of emergency' for the audience who watched the KBS special <100 Days of Invasion of Ukraine, Part 1 into the Fire>. As a result of the analysis, it was found that watching a war-related TV documentary reinforced the audience's 'recognition of the importance of security' and 'will for South-North Unification'. However, it was confirmed that watching a war-related TV documentary did not strengthen the audience's will to participate in war in case of emergency.
