  • The Corona 19 pandemic is bringing a big change in the fields of politics, economy, society, culture, environment, ecosystem, science and technology, and business management activities and advertising. Therefore, in this study, after the Corona 19 pandemic, we predicted how the characteristics of future advertising and the types of future advertising will change, and we studied countermeasures. We used, a method of analyzing related literature and the Delphi Survey method predicting the future, as a research method. As expert Panel, the subject of the Delphi technique survey, we recruited 30 experts in the field of advertising and future fields with professional insight. We study to predict how the characteristics of future advertising and the types of future advertising will change according to changes in the advertising environment such as social changes, business changes, and consumer changes after the Corona 19 pandemic. In order to cope with these changes in future advertising, it is necessary to actively prepare the advertising industry and advertising experts. Therefore, we suggested countermeasures so that the advertising industry and advertising experts can understand and respond for future advertising changes.

  • Cloud computing is a robust technology, which facilitate to resolve many parallel distributed computing issues in the modern Big Data environment. Hadoop is an ecosystem, which process large data-sets in distributed computing environment. The HDFS is a filesystem of Hadoop, which process data blocks to the cluster nodes. The data block placement has become a bottleneck to overall performance in a Hadoop cluster. The current placement policy assumes that, all Datanodes have equal computing capacity to process data blocks. This computing capacity includes availability of same storage media and same processing performances of a node. As a result, Hadoop cluster performance gets effected with unbalanced workloads, inefficient storage-tier, network traffic congestion and HDFS integrity issues. This paper proposes a storage-tier-aware Robust Data Placement (RDP) scheme, which systematically resolves unbalanced workloads, reduces network congestion to an optimal state, utilizes storage-tier in a useful manner and minimizes the HDFS integrity issues. The experimental results show that the proposed approach reduced unbalanced workload issue to 72%. Moreover, the presented approach resolve storage-tier compatibility problem to 81% by predicting storage for block jobs and improved overall data block placement by 78% through pre-calculated computing capacity allocations and execution of map files over respective Namenode and Datanodes.

  • Pollutants such as heavy metals and explosives originating from the military operational ranges can be migrated to adjacent surface water body or offsite soil, and can affect to local residents and aquatic ecosystem. Therefore, Korea Ministry of the National Defense has established various guidelines for environmental management including the installation of pollutant migration prevention facilities (PMPFs) and monitoring methodologies for heavy metals in the operational range soil and effluent and sediment of PMPFs. However, current guidelines neither address the explosive compounds such as 2, 4, 6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) and hexahydro-1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine (RDX) nor suggest detailed environmental investigation protocol. This paper introduces the new “Environmental Management Manual for Military Firing Ranges”, which includes the environmental criteria for explosives as well as the detailed investigation protocol for the affected environmental media including soil, effluent and sediment of PMPFs.

  • With its recent advances, nanotechnology is now being applied to various areas. Despite the benefits of nanoparticles, their risk in the environment has caused controversy, which is now becoming an international issue. Nanoparticles can easily infiltrate into cells, accumulate in biota, and may cause adverse effects in the levels of molecules, cells and organisms, and in the community. If nanoparticles are released into the environment, they can be transferred to organisms in the ecosystem, and eventually to the human body through the food chain. In this study, the research trend of the trophic transfer of nanoparticles in the food chain was investigated. Although a few investigations have been conducted regarding this topic, the trophic transfer of nanoparticles is becoming a significant issue in the area of nanotoxicology due to the potential risk to humans via the biomagnification process. While previous studies have demonstrated evidence of the trophic transfer of nanoparticles intensive future studies are needed to provide further information on the properties of nanomaterials, the exposure media, and the in vivo mechanisms such as uptake, accumulation, and depuration.

  • Crucial aspects to successfully realizing the re-emergence of a contemporary and sustainable supercomputing community in South Korea will involve the devoted efforts and support from key government and R&D organizations. We suggest various supplementation plans regarding the roles of support for the statutory plan. This includes the committee and the plans which are often missing necessary support systems that help competent ministries to plan properly according to the missions of the research center. This dissertation suggests that adjustment in the HPC trends will depend upon exposing and correcting problems in the law as well as overall improvement of the law. Also, the total development of a super computing market is necessary. The results of these guidelines will create a spread of demand for supercomputing for national IT resource sharing, and will foster the development of supercomputer specialists worldwide. Other major end results include significant increases in research productivity and increased rates of product development.

  • Bitcoin and blockchain are often making headlines not only on TV or media but also among the public in today's society. These technologies have been developed after the risk of the centralized financial system came to the fore during the 2007 global financial crisis. Since then, an anonymous inventor called Satoshi Nakamoto penned the bitcoin white paper where a blockchain-based reference implementation was introduced. Bitcoin was able to achieve unprecedented growth by positioning itself as one of the top global currencies in terms of market capitalization after five years since its development. The pace of Vietnam's economic development is notably fast among Asian nations, while the nation was expected to be a Southeast Asian blockchain hub but they have banned virtual currency trading recently. However, they've also designated the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) as a responsible agency for the research of blockchain-based cryptocurrencies, the construction of a service ecosystem, and their test operations. The fast-growing economy, increasing number of smartphone users, and the Vietnam government's support policies for startups substantiate these efforts. Therefore, this paper attempts to study the current status of Vietnam's blockchain technology that has been considered to be the center of blockchain systems right behind Singapore, and its implications for Korean companies.

  • Blockchain technology, which enables transparent transactions among individuals without central control, opens up diverse business possibilities. It is also expected that blockchain will have a ripple effect on the entire area of society including finance, manufacturing, distribution, and the public sector. Previous studies related to the blockchain also deals with its functional features and application to industrial and public fields. In the new technology such as blockchain, it is necessary to know what social perception is in order to create technological development environment, but there is a lack of research on it. Therefore, this study aims to find out the implications for industrial and policy direction by analyzing issues related to the blockchain in South Korea and the US through text mining. From these two countries, we collected text data related to blockchain in online communities and internet articles. Then, we did co-occurrence analysis and topic modeling on them respectively. As a result of this study, we have found common points and differences in keywords and topics extracted from social media in the two countries. Based on them, we can offer helpful suggestions for building a sound blockchain ecosystem, and directions for future research.

  • The emergence of the digital economy and easy accessibility to Web 2.0 tools has seen an expansion of the influencer ecosystem within the travel and tourism industry. Founded on the principles of reference groups and peer reference there is a growing trend amongst industry practitioners who are now opting to move away from many of the traditional approaches used to market their products and services and are instead taking advantage of the concept of e-word-of-mouth (eWOM). Whilst there is a growing body of academic literature addressing the notion of influencer marketing, there is little understanding of influencer marketers themselves. Consequentially, this study addresses this gap in the literature through the quantitative examination of those who promote products, services, or companies by distributing eWOM through their online digital channels and presence; otherwise known as travel influencers. A quantitative research approach involving an online survey yielded 255 responses from travel influencers. The research findings indicate that those who work in this field prefer not to be awarded the label "travel influencer," focusing instead on their specific method of influencing, such as blogging and vlogging or sharing Instagram updates. The research also demonstrates how the new influencers have a strong role in generating travel urge and desire. The research contributes to the wider body of academic literature and travel industry practitioners by establishing the general profile of influencers and their increasingly specialized role in tourism and hospitality marketing.
