비례 솔레노이드 밸브의 운동해석 및 LQG/LTR 제어 (Motion Analysis and LQG/LTR Control of a Proportional Solenoid Valve)

  • 본 논문에서는 솔레노이드 밸브의 동특성 분석 후, 적분기가 추가된 LQG/LTR 제어기를 설계한다. 솔레노이드 밸브의 동특성은 백색잡음 입력 신호에 대한 출력응답을 측정하여 얻은 주파수 응답과 커브피팅을 통해 규명된다. 본 논문에서 적분기가 추가된 LQG/LTR 제어의 목적은 시스템의 응답성을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라 복잡한 입력신호에 대한 추종 능력도 향상시키는 것이다. 마지막으로 실험을 통해 제어기의 성능이 검증되며, 성능이 향상되었음을 확인할 수 있다.

  • A proportional pressure control valve has a nonmagnetic ring which is inserted in between a coil and plunger and it can get attraction force in proportion to input current by an influence of control cone. Therefore, a proportional pressure control valve is applied to a servo system as substitution of servo valve and an on-off solenoid valve widely because control of a high level is possible and pollution level is low. The purpose of this study is to develop domestic model of a proportional pressure control valve, and a test model was designed and manufactured through valve system analysis and finite element analysis. And comparison between results of theoretical analysis and static / dynamic characteristics test were carried out on a manufactured test model, and it was confirmed that it has excellent performance in comparison with other foreign products.

  • Hydrogen energy is the clean energy source of the future. Ultra-high-pressure hydrogen is used in hydrogen stations, with its parts being developed. On the other hand, ultra-high-pressure ball valve, which is one of its parts, depends on overseas, with the level of domestic research on this being only about 10% of advanced technology research on this abroad. In this study, the shape of an ultra-high-pressure ball valve for a hydrogen station was designed to improve its structural strength. The valve body was designed according to distance between both processed body holes along inlet and outlet ports. The designed vale body was then analyzed using ANSYS to check whether points with stress were concentrated. In addition, the valve with improved body was analyzed to confirm that the valve satisfied the design condition.

  • Ball poppet valve type high pressure hydrogen injection valve actuated by solenoid has been developed for the feasibility of practical use of hydrogen fueled engine with direct injection and the precise control of fuel injection ratio in hydrogen fueled engine with dual injection. The gas-tightness of ball poppet injection valve is improved by the introduction of ball-shaped valve face, valve end typed spherical pair, and valve stem with rotating blade. Ball poppet valve is mainly closed by differential pressure due to the area difference between valve fillet and pressure piston. So, it can be operated by solenoid actuator with small driving force. From the evaluation of ball poppet injection valve, it was found that the gastightness and controlment of this injection valve are better than those of injection valve had been developed before.

CAE에 기반한 DACE 모델을 이용한 버터플라이밸브 디스크의 최적설계 (Optimization of Butterfly Valve's Disc Using the DACE Model Based on CAE)

  • The butterfly valve has been used to control the switch and flux of fluid. While research about the characteristics of butterfly valve fluid have been done, study of the optimum design, considering structural safety, must keep pace with it. Thus, a method is proposed for an optimum butterfly valve. Initially, the stability of the butterfly valve, using FEM and CFD, is evaluated, and a variable is selected using the initial analysis results. Also, the shape optimization design is accomplished using the DACE model. In terms of research results, the experiment satisfied the objective and limitation functions.

  • Satellite propulsion system is employed for orbit transfer, orbit correction, and attitude control. The monopropellant feeding system in the low-earth-orbit satellite blowdowns fuel to the thrust chamber. The thrust produced by the thruster depends on fuel amount flowed into the combustion chamber. If the thruster valve be given on-off signal from on-board commander in the satellite, valve will be opened or closed. When the thrusters fire fuel flows through opened thruster valve. Instantaneous stoppage of flow in according to valve actuation produces transient pressure due to pressure wave. This paper describes transient pressure predictions of the KOMPSAT2 propulsion system resulting from latching valve and thrust control valve operations. The time-dependent set of the fluid mass and momentum equations are calculated by Method of Characteristics (MOC).

  • In order to verify the feasibility of expansion of back-fire limit equivalence ratio in the hydrogen-fueled engine with external mixture, the characteristics of performance and combustion are experimentally analyzed with change of intake/exhaust valve timings under the fixed valve overlap period of $0^{\circ}$ CA(non-valve overlap period). These characteristics are also tested for the change of exhaust valve closing timing while intake valve opening timing is fixed to clear the main cause of back-fire occurrence. As the results, the less valve overlap period center is retarded, the more back-fire limit equivalence ratio increases and back-fire does not occurred after TDC. In addition, it was shown that the control of back-fire is dependent on intake valve opening timing than valve overlap period.

비례밸브를 이용한 트랙터 3점 히치 제어 시스템 개발 (Development of Tractor Three-point Hitch Control System using Proportional Valve)

  • Tractor implements are mainly utilized for the tillage operation. The proposed hydraulic system control was implemented to experimental apparatus. An implement control system for tractor using proportional valve was fabricated to improve the working efficiency. Hydraulic circuit included the proportional solenoid valve and on/off solenoid valve and so on. This paper shows results of a specification and design of an implement control system for tractor using proportional valve for automation. It was conducted to evaluate response characteristics of the designed implement control system under experimental conditions of various input flow rates. The results of experiments showd that the response characteristics was sufficient to be used as the implement control system.

형상기억합금을 이용한 난방용 온도조절 밸브 및 원격 제어장치 개발 (Development of Heat Control Valve Using SMA and Remote Controller for House Heating System)

  • For the purpose of reducing the energy consumption in the house heating, the various devices have been developed. One of these is to control the flow in the heat pipe and the flow control valve using shape memory alloy(SMA) spring is proposed in our study. The proposed house heating system is to save the gas consumption and the remote control system is designed for the convenience of using the proposed valve. The developed valve consists of SMA spring, disk, return spring, and regulation handle. The regulation handle is for supplying the additional hot water and is controlled by remote-control-motor. In order to design the remote control system, the Zigbee wireless communication protocol is used. The performance of the proposed valve structure is shown through the experimental result.
