We developed a polymer pouch using PVP that is water soluble in the precedent study. Yet melt viscosity was so low that it was not possible to produce hemispheric type which is essential for mass production, therefore we used another material to make the polymer pouch. It enabled to figure out a water-soluble transition and mechanic physical property of PEG that is newly chosen, and to blend the PEG with LLDPE and TALC followed by result. So, we could implement an evaluating property on blended proportion. It is important to find out a proper blending ratio throughout an experiment since its property is different or varied followed by each proportion as a water soluble character is conflict to a solid character. With the blending technique we were able to produce the polymer pouch enhanced for a tensile force and an impact intensity maintaining a water soluble character. We could identify a ground solidity effect of the polymer pouch as a result of a direct shear test using the product developed.
Object: The purpose of this study was to select priority points for soil management using the location of groundwater and to suggest this method for soil contamination surveys. Method: Groundwater impact range was set to an area of 100 to 500 meters from the center point of agricultural groundwater wells. Data on industrial complex and factory areas, areas of stored or used ores and scrap metals, areas associated with waste and recycling, and traffic-related facilities areas were collected and checked for whether they fall within the groundwater impact range. Longitude and latitude coordinates of these data were mapped on the groundwater impact range using QGIS (Quantum Geographic Information System). Results: Considering the groundwater impact range, the points were selected as follows: 589 points were selected from 6,811 factories and 259 points were selected from 1,511 recycling business points. Traffic-related facility areas were divided between gas stations, bus depots, and auto mechanics. Thirty-four points were selected from 149 bus depots and 573 points were selected from 6,013 auto mechanic points. From the 2,409 gas station points, 323 were selected. Conclusion: Contaminated soil influences groundwater and crops, which can harm human health. However, soil pollution is not easily identified, so it is difficult to determine what has occurred. Pollution must be prevented beforehand and contaminated soil found. By selecting and investigating soil contamination survey points in consideration of the location of groundwater wells, we can safely manage water resources by preventing groundwater contamination in advance.
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the dispositions of university students' understanding and reasoning about rational number concept. For this, we surveyed for the subject groups of prospective math teachers(33), engineering major students(35), American engineering and science major students(28). The questionnaire consists of four problems related to understanding of rational number concept and three problems related to rational number operation reasoning. We asked multi-answers for the front four problem and the order of favorite algorithms for the back three problems. As a result, we found that university students don't understand exactly the facets of rational number and prefer the mechanic approaches rather than conceptual one. Furthermore, they reasoned illogically in many situations related to fraction, ratio, proportion, rational number and don't recognize exactly the connection between them, and confuse about rational number concept.

In many practical engineering design problems, the form of objective functions is not given explicitly in terms of design variables. Given the value of design variables, under this circumstance, the value of objective functions is obtained by real/computational experiments such as structural analysis, fluid mechanic analysis, thermodynamic analysis, and so on. These experiments are, in general, considerably expensive. In order to make the number of these experiments as few as possible, optimization is performed in parallel with predicting the form of objective functions. Response Surface Methods (RSM) are well known along this approach. This paper suggests to apply Support Vector Machines (SVM) for predicting the objective functions. One of most important tasks in this approach is to allocate sample data moderately in order to make the number of experiments as small as possible. It will be shown that the information of support vector can be used effectively to this aim. The effectiveness of our suggested method will be shown through numerical example which is well known in design of engineering.

Urethane is a high polymeric and elastic material useful in designing mechanic parts that cannot be molded in rubber or plastic material. Especially, urethane is high in mechanical strength and anti-abrasive. Hereby, an urethane coated aluminum wheel is used for supporting of OHT vehicle moving back and forth to transport products. For the sake of verifying the safety of the vehicle, structural safety for applied maximum dynamic load on a urethane wheel needs to be carefully examined while driving. Therefore, we have performed the dynamic simulation on the OHT vehicle model. Although the area definition of applied load can be obtained from the previous study of Hertzian and Non-Hertzian contact force model when having exact properties of contact material, static analysis is simulated, since the proper material properties of urethane have not been guaranteed, after we have performed the actual contact area test for each load. In case of this study, the method of distributing load for each node is included. Finally, in comparison with result of analysis and load-displacement curve obtained from the compression test, we have defined the material properties of urethane. In the analysis, we have verified the safety of the wheel. After all, we have performed a mode analysis using the obtained material properties. With the result, we have the reliable finite element model.

In this paper, we propose an efficient car management system based on object-oriented modeling using car number recognition and smart phone. The proposed system perceives car number of repair vehicle after recognizing the licence plate using an IP camera in real time. And then, existing repair history information of the recognized car is be displayed in DID. In addition, maintenance process is shooting video while auto maintenance mechanic repairs car through IP-camera. That will be provide customer car identification and repairs history management function by sending key frames extracted from recorded video automatically. We provide user graphic interface based on web and mobile for your convenience. The module design of the proposed system apply software design modeling based on granular object-oriented considering reuse and extensibility after implementation. Car repairs center and maintenance companies can improve business efficiency, as well as the requested vehicle repair can increase customer confidence.

In order to drive a vehicle safely, driver needs to check status of the car. Many moderns are having trouble to spare time to visit auto mechanic and have car mechanics to check their car other than their office hours. If the car status cannot be inspected regularly, it is likely to cause a big accident threatening the surroundings as well as driver's life. Inspection tool and system help driver to check their own vehicle status personally are required for preventing it. In this paper, it designed and realized system that records driving information based on changing data of vehicle (location and automotive internal data) and allows driver can check the vehicle status easily and further, driver can share the driving information with repair shop via the Internet to receive detailed inspection service for car status.

Space systems are operating in a changing and uncertain space environment and are desired to have autonomous capability for long periods of time without frequent telecommunications from the ground station At the same time. requirements for new set of projects/systems calling for ""autonomous"" operations for long unattended periods of time are emerging. Since, by the nature of space systems, it is desired that they perform their mission flawlessly and also it is of extreme importance to have fault-tolerant sensor/actuator sub-systems for the purpose of validating science measurement data for the mission success. Technology innovations attendant on autonomous data validation and health monitoring are articulated for a growing class of autonomous operations of space systems. The greatest need is on focus research effort to the development of a new class of fault-tolerant space systems such as attitude actuators and sensors as well as validation of measurement data from scientific instruments. The characterization for the next step in evolving the existing control processes to an autonomous posture is to embed intelligence into actively control. modify parameters and select sensor/actuator subsystems based on statistical parameters of the measurement errors in real-time. This research focuses on the identification/demonstration of critical technology innovations that will be applied to Autonomous Spacecraft Health Monitoring/Data Validation Control Systems (ASHMDVCS). Systems (ASHMDVCS).

The machine tool which operates by hand is replacing by CNC machine tool to improve the quality of the product and the productivity in modem mechanic industry. The precision of machine part is influenced greatly the surface roughness by cutting condition of machine tool. So this study was performed to examine the aluminium surface roughness of section according to change of strength rating, nose radius, cutting speed, using live center. The results of this study are as follows; 1. In the case of 56mm diameter of test piece(length is below triple of diameter), whether establish the live center or not, doesn't influence to the surface roughness, and it is possible to make product without the live center. 2. The average surface roughness of 42mm diameter(length is quadruple of diameter) is similar to the 56mm diameter in the cutting condition of nose radius 0.8mm and cutting speed 140mm/min, but there are increases and differences in other cutting conditions. 3. In the case of test piece length more 70m/min(140m/mm) and nose radius improved greatly using the live center. 4. In the case of test piece length is quintuple of diameter, the nose radius must choose big tool and increase the cutting speed in preference live center establishment availability to improve that is surface roughness. Conclusively, if aluminum test piece length is fewer than triple of diameter, can process without establishing live center. If aluminum test piece length is more than quintuple of diameter, cutting conditions to improve surface roughness are (1) cutting speed (2) nose radius (3) whether the live center uses or not.
Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the storage and quality characteristics of brown rice under the low temperature warehouse conditions using ambient cold air in the winter. Methods: This new technique maintains rough rice warehouse temperature below $15^{\circ}C$ without cooling operation until the end of May. Four hundred tons of rough rice were stored in the low temperature grain warehouse, and were aerated from the top to the bottom using ambient cold air in February. The quality of rough rice was evaluated from February through October. Results: The results were as followings. Moisture contents of rough rice in the low temperature storage had decreased less than the ordinary temperature storage. Cracked rate of brown rice in the ordinary temperature storage and low temperature storage increased by 4~10.8% and 1.6~7.2%, respectively. The germination rate of rough rice under the ordinary and the low temperature warehouse decreased by 15.0~25.0% and 1.7~8.0%, respectively. The acid value of brown rice under the ordinary and the low temperature warehouse increased by 3.67~6.72 KOH mg/100g and 3.08~4.08 KOH mg/100g, respectively. Conclusions: The result indicates that low temperature storage using ambient winter air showed better maintaining germination of rice, less change of physiological activities and cracked kernel, and better maintaining of rice quality, comparing the ordinary temperature storage.
