유압 실린더 내 피스톤 위치측정을 위한 정전용량 센서 설계 (Design of Capacitive Sensor for Measuring the Position of the Piston in Hydraulic Cylinder)

  • 본 논문에서는 유압 실린더내의 피스톤 위치를 측정하기 위한 정전용량 센서(Capacitive Sensor) 구조를 연구하였다. 기존에 유압 실린더 내 피스톤 위치 측정을 위해 인덕티브(Inductive) 방식을 응용한 LVDT(Linear Variable Differential Transformer) 센서가 사용되고 있으며, 높은 정확도를 갖지만, 고가이며 구조적으로 복잡하다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위한 방법으로 유압실린더 내 최적화된 구조를 바탕으로 여러 가지 비접촉 정전용량 센서 구조 방식을 연구하였다. 실험을 통하여 본 논문의 제안구조를 사용하면 유압 실린더 내 피스톤 위치측정이 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • A capacitate sensor is a proper device for measuring high small displacement. General design parameters and procedure are discussed and a test sensor was built to have a measuring range of 100$\mu\textrm{m}$ and a sensitivity about 30nm. This sensor has too opposing electrode of comparably large area and has nominal gap distance about 150$\mu\textrm{m}$. So as to achieve a nano order displacement sensitivity, both sensor and target system have to be considered. This is important for the sensitivity can be achieved by minimizing a system total noise level in electronic type sensor application. Typical performance of the developed sensor is demonstrated in precision moving stage having 0.1$\mu\textrm{m}$ moving resolution.

  • Eddy current sensor is representative instrument measuring gap to base metal and sensing trouble in base metal. The existing eddy current sensor works as measuring variance of sensor coil's inductance. But, sensor coil have phenomenon that not only inductance but also real resistance varies in real action. Conductivity and Permeability are main variable in sensor coil's varying impedance(inductance, real resistance). By searching relationship between conductivity-permeability and sensor coil's impedance, eddy current sensor gain advantage of elevation of accuracy, removal of alignment to each base metal, and continuous sensing to varying base metal.

  • In this paper, when we control Elevation Angle and Azimuth Angle of Antenna, intend to implement sensor system for stabilization control of antenna pedestral system because of wind in land, wave and external disturbances such as rolling, pitching, and yawing. Therefore, this sensor system is consist of Tilt Sensor for measuring absolute angle of roll ing and pitching, Level Rate Sensor, Cross Level Rate Sensor, Azimuth Rate Sensor for controlling short_term azimuth angle and Flux Gate Sensor for measuring long_term azimuth angle.

  • 급경사지 계측에 활용을 위하여 GNSS와 TRS센서를 주축으로 하여 전원, 통신 등의 부대설비, 그리고 변위 추출 및 가시화 등의 데이터처리 소프트웨어를 개발하여 스마트폴 계측시스템을 구축하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 스마트폴 계측센서의 개념은 GNSS안테나 바로 밑에 TRS센서 및 자이로(gyro) 센서 등, 그리고 하단에 함수비센서를 장착하여 실시간으로 지표변위는 물론, 지반의 병진, 활동, 침하 등의 세가지 요인을 추출해 내고 함수비를 추출하여 전송할 수 있도록 하였다. 스마트폴 계측시스템은 데이터 수신부, 데이터 수집 및 전송부, 데이터 처리부로 구분하여 각 부분별 기능을 발휘할 수 있도록 구축한 다음, 현장적용성 평가를 위해 인위적 변위를 도입한 시험계측을 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하였다.

  • The 3-dimensional measuring machine by using an ultrasonic sensor is used one of the NDE (Nondestructive Evaluation). It is applied to the inspection of pipelines, boreholes, pressure vessel and tank, and so on. On particular when a harsh environment prohibits the use of moving mechanical parts. The 3-dimensional measuring machine by using an ultrasonic sensor, which measure 1-dimensional information and 2-dimensional information simultaneously from a target of inspection, and then re construct 3-dimensional information. So we can find the situation in progress and predict remaining life and corrosion without destructive examination. It´s a point of excellence that the 3-dimensional measuring machine is portable.

  • In this paper, a precision measuring machine for large sized axial fans of cooling towers are developed. A laser sensor is used as a measuring device and aluminum profiles and stepping motors are engaged into the system as frame structure and driving devices respectively. 3-dimensional measuring data are compared to the design data to compute the distortion of the axial fans. Two distortions such as the axis of the fan and the airfoils along the axis are introduced to define the shape precision of axial fans. Genetic algorithm is used to solve the optimization problem during computing the distortion. Results of distortion are displayed 3 dimensionally in a solid-modeler as well as 2-D drawings to help users find it with case.

  • Laser scanner are getting used for inspection and reverse engineering in industry such as motors, electronic products, dies and molds. However, due to the lack of efficient scanning technique, the tasks become limited to the low accuracy purpose. The main reasons for this limitation for usefulness are caused from the optical drawback, such as irregular reflection, scanning direction normal to measuring surface, the influence of surface integrity, and other optical disturbances. To overcome these drawback of laser scanner, this study propose the mechanism to reduce the optical trouble by using the 2 kinds of rotational movement axis and by composing the spherical coordinate to scanning the surface keeping normal direction consistently. So, it could be designed and interfaced the measuring device to realize that mechanism, and then it could acquisite the accurate 3D form cloud data. Also, these data are compared with the standard master ball and the data acquisited from the touch point sensor, to evaluate the accuracy and stability of measurement and to demonstrate the implementation of an dental tooth purpose system

  • Ubiquitous healthcare monitoring and measuring system based on wireless sensor network was implemented and tested. The system can measure the ECG and body temperature of patients or elderly persons and transfer the data wirelessly in ad-hoc network to remote base-station connected to doctor's PDA/PC or hospital server, using wireless sensor motes. The data obtained can be analyzed by doctors and care providers to monitor a health status of patient in real time environment. To prove the capabilities of the wireless sensor network platform for ubiquitous healthcare applications, the performance of our monitoring and measuring system was tested with positive results.

  • With increasing number construction of high-rise building which has about 40 to 60 floors there have been many kinds of problem which related with usage from vibration. To predict response acceleration, it is important to assess correct natural frequency. However, due to the noise of MEMS sensor, it is difficult to measure dynamic characteristic such as natural frequency when measuring ambient vibration using MEMS sensor within cell phone. Therefore, a comparative analysis on vibration measuring applications was performed after measuring ambient vibration of 2 skyscrappers which have height between 133.5~244.3m that are located in Seoul and Observation tower using I-jishin APP with noise reduction function of MEMS sensor in order to verify the effectiveness of low noise type vibration measurement APP.
