CAD모델을 이용한 자동차 프레스 부품 검사 치구 체크 시트의 자동 생성방법 (A Method for Automatic Generating Check Sheet of Jig and Die in Automobile Components Using CAD Model)

  • This paper presents a method for automatic generating of check sheet to measure deep-drawn sheet metal. By using polyhedral model of CAD, the proposed procedure calculates measuring points automatically. The results of measure are exported to MS-Excel. The proposed method is implemented by API functions and C language using SPEED plus CAD/CAM system and MS-Window OLE.

대형 저속 디젤 엔진용 실린더 라이너 내면 마모량 자동 측정 장치 개발 (Development of Automatic Measuring Device for Cylinder Liner Wear Amount in Large Two Stroke Diesel Engine)

  • This paper describes a development of automatic measuring device for cylinder liner wear amount. An operator should regularly measure the wear amount of the cylinder liner to prevent the wear amount of the cylinder liner from exceeding the maximum limit specific to the engine type. In previous methods. an operator entered the inside of the cylinder liner on a ladder and measured the amount of wear using a inside micrometer. Such method is unpleasant in severe environments and full of hazards. In addition, in order to enter the cylinder, the piston head had to be detached. requiring much time and money. In order to solve these problems, a new measuring device that consists of two measuring units and a special install jig is developed. The measuring units are installed through the scavenging air port by the install jig and measures the wear amount during 1 revolution of crankshaft. so detaching of the cylinder head and entering inside the cylinder liner are not required.

서브 프레임 제작용 다목적 용접지그 개발 (Development of Multipurpose Welding Jig for Sub-Frame)

  • In commercial vehicle, sub-frame which equipped in main frame supporting dump deck and oil tanker. This is the main structure for all equipment which including joint function. Sub-frame is made by welding process, this susceptible to deform and crack by its longitudinal size. Also various kind of sub-frame make it difficult to standardization in manufacturing process and exclusive jig is not adapted yet. Frame size is over 6~8m and weight is more than 300kg this make re-work more difficult. If manufacturing company made precise sub-frame, this is not only convenient for customers but also save the company money by reducing the working time. In this study manufacture the sub-frame be suitable for its main function and develop exclusive welding jig for obtain checking fixture function as well.

다수의 전극의 동시가공 방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Machining Method of Multi-Electrode)

  • In general, a lot of small electrode is needed for making precision injection molds, such as cell phone mold and precision connector mold, because of the limitations of NC milling process. Those small electrodes usually have very simple shapes and the actual cutting time is so short, but many NC programs and set-up process, a very complicated and time consuming Job, are needed for each electrode. This paper deals the method for increasing the productivity of machining electrodes. In this work, the process standardization of machining electrode was done and special jig fer machining small electrodes was developed. Automatic tool path optimization software was also developed to minimize tool changing time. In addition, in-line cutting tool measuring system was adopted. The productivity of machining for small electrode has been increased up to $100\%$.

복합가공기용 초정밀급 새들 가공을 위한 최적의 고정구 개발 (Development of the optimal Jig & fixture applied to ultra-precision saddle machining)

  • The increasing level of demand for multi-tasking machines requires a saddle with an ultra-precise machining accuracy level of $15{\mu}m$, as such a saddle is one of the main components of these machines. The manner of achieving ultra-precise machining accuracy mainly depends on the fixed forces. In this paper, we optimized the number of contact points and the contact positions to reduce the deformation of the saddle while it is machined. The performance levels of the proposed optimal jig and fixture are determined by measuring the flatness, parallelism and perpendicularity of a machined saddle. The machining accuracy is found to be lower than $15{\mu}m$ at all measured points.

PMN-PT 단결정의 압전 및 유전 특성 평가에 미치는 측정 방법의 영향 (Effect of Measuring Method on the Evaluation of Piezoelectric and Dielectric Properties of PMN-PT Single Crystal)

  • PMN-PT 단결정 시편의 유전 및 압전 특성의 측정 결과에 미치는 측정 기구물의 영향을 고찰하였다. 샘플에 교류 전기신호를 인가하는 지그핀의 압력이 감소할수록 공진저항은 낮게 측정되고 기계적 품질계수는 높게 계산되었다. 지그핀의 스프링 텐션이 20 grf인 경우 기계적 품질계수는 418으로 측정되었고, 스프링 텐션이 200 grf인 경우 품질계수 값은 절반으로 감소하였다. 4-프로브 방식의 픽스쳐는 압전특성 측정에는 부적합하지만 유전손실 값의 측정에는 가장 적합하였다. 정확한 PMN-PT의 압전특성 평가를 위하여 지그핀의 스프링 텐션을 최대한 낮추는 것이 필요하며, 정확한 유전특성의 평가를 위하여 4-프로브 방식이 적합함을 알 수 있다.

A comparative study to measure the condylar guidance by the radiographic and clinical methods

  • PURPOSE. The study was conducted to compare the radiographic and clinical methods of measuring the horizontal condylar guidance (HCG) values. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The condylar guidance was measured using the radiographic (CT scan) and three clinical methods i.e. the wax protrusive records, Lucia jig record and intraoral central bearing device in 12 patients aged between 20-40 years irrespective of sex. The records were taken and transferred on the semi-adjustable articulator to record the HCG values. The CT scan was taken for 3D reconstruction of the mid facial region. Frankfort horizontal plane (FHP) and a line extending from the superior anterior most point on the glenoid fossa to the most convex point on the apex of articular eminence (AE) was marked on the CT scan. An angle between these two lines was measured on both right and left sides to obtain condylar inclination angle. Three interocclusal protrusive wax and jig records were taken and transferred to the semi adjustable articulator. Three readings were recorded on each side. Similarly the records were taken and transferred to the same articulator using the intra oral central bearing device to record the readings. RESULTS. The statistical analysis showed insignificant differences in the HCG values between the right and left sides [(P=.589 (CT), P=.928 (wax), P=.625 (jig), P=.886 (tracer)]. The clinical methods provided low Pearsons correlation values [(R = 0.423 (wax), R = 0.354 (jig), R = 0.265 (tracer)] for the right as well as the left sides when compared with the CT values. Among the clinical methods, jig and wax method showed strong level of association which is statistically significant while the intra-oral tracer showed weak association with the other two methods. CONCLUSION. The right and left HCG values were almost similar. The CT scan showed higher HCG values than the clinical methods and among the clinical methods, values obtained from all the methods were comparable.

변형지그를 이용한 폴리카보네이트 시편의 케미컬 크랙킹 및 응력측정에 관한 연구 (Investigation into a Chemical Cracking and the Measurement of Stress in a Polycarbonate Specimen through Deformation Jig)

  • 사출성형품의 잔류응력 형성의 원인은 사출성형공정 중 재료가 받는 높은 온도변화와 전단응력이다. 케미컬 크랙킹 테스트는 잔류응력을 측정하는 방법 중의 하나이며 크랙은 잔류응력의 크기에 따라 형성된다. 본 연구에서는 시편이 받고있는 응력과 케미컬 크랙킹과의 관계를 연구하였다. 변형지그를 설계하고 이를 이용하여 시편에 변형을 주어 응력을 가하였다. 시편은 폴리카보네이트를 이용하여 핫 프레스로 제작하였고 시편의 제작 중에 형성된 잔류응력을 제거하기 위해 어닐링을 하였다. 시편을 변형지그에 고정시키고 시편에 크랙을 유도하기 위해 이를 솔벤트에 담궜다. 솔벤트는 tetrahydrofuran과 methyl alcohol을 이용하여 제조하였다. 시편에서 변형에 따라 응력이 증가할수록 크랙의 빈도수와 밀도가 증가하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 케미컬 크랙킹 방법으로 폴리카보네이트 사출성형품의 잔류응력을 정량적으로 측정하는데 활용될 수 있다.

고선량률(HDR) 근접치료의 동위원소 Ir-192에 대한 측정방법에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Calibration Procedures for Ir-192 High Dose Rate Brachytherapy Sources)

  • 목 적: Ir-192 고선량율 근접치료(HDR Brachytherapy)선원에 대한 다양한 측정절차의 효율을 서로 비교할 것이며, 측정 장비의 추가 구입 없이 대안으로 새롭게 만든 PMMA (polymethylmethacrylateplastics: $C_5H_8O_2$) plate phantom에 대한임상에서의 적합성과 유용성을 알아 보았다. 대상 및 방법: 세 가지 형태(Well type chamber, Source calibration jig, PMMA plate phantom)의 측정 시스템을 이용하여 측정값을 비교하였다. Source calibration jig와 PMMA plate phantom을 사용 했을 때에는 Farmer type chamber를 이용하여 측정하였으며, 각각 5회씩 측정하여 제조업체의 측정치와 비교하였다. 또한 새로운 선원을 교환 할 때마다 제조업체로부터 선원과 함께 제공되는 제조업체의 측정치를 본 연구의 측정치와 비교하여 방사능의 정확도를 평가 하였다. 결 과: Well type chamber, Source calibration jig, PMMA plate phantom를 사용한 Ir-192 선원의 측정결과 제조업체 측정치와의 상대오차에 대한 RMS (Root Mean Square)값은 Well type chamber에서 0.6%, Source calibration jig에서 1.57%, PMMA plate phantom에서는 2.1%를 나타내었다. 또한 평균 오차에 대한 편차는 Well type chamber에서 $-0.2{\pm}0.5%$, Source calibration jig에서 $0.97{\pm}1.23%$, PMMA plate phantom에서는 $-0.89{\pm}1.87%$를 나타내었다. 결 론: 본 연구를 통해 실험한 세 가지 형태(Well type chamber, Source calibration jig, PMMA plate phantom)의 측정 시스템의 결과에서 나타난 것처럼, Well type chamber를 이용한 측정결과가 가장 우수하게 나타났다. 또한 측정 장비를 구입하지 않고 대안으로 새롭게 만든 PMMA plate phantom의 결과 권고안 ${\pm}5%$를 초과하지 않으므로 임상에서 유용하게 사용 할 수 있을 것이라 생각되어진다.

열처리된 대직경 알루미늄 튜브선삭에서 콜릿지그를 통한 진원도 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Roundness Improvement of Heat-treated Large Diameter Aluminum Tube-turning with Collet Type Jig)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the proposed jig for turning process of large-scale aluminum tube of D500mm through Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Also, a machining evaluation is conducted with general heat-treated and cryogenic heat-treated tubes. Dimensions of the specimens are determined to be suitable for collet appearance. The characteristics of equivalent stress and strain according to the expansion of the collet are evaluated by FEA. The aluminum tubes which are heat-treated by T4/T6 condition and cryogenic condition are machined by using a large-scale lathe machine and the roundness of machined tube is evaluated by using a 3D measuring machine. Through the results of this study, effects of each heat treatment and residual stress on the roundness are established.
