차량신호를 이용한 주요 전장품의 고장 분석 (Fault Analysis of Electric Equipment Using Vehicle Signal)

  • The most important thing to secure safety and reliability of railway vehicles is to verify performance characteristics of equipments, and related companies or research institutes had many efforts to verify performances and functions of equipments synthetically and efficiently. KHST(Korean High Speed Train) has been developed by KRRI(Korea Railroad Research Institute). An electric railway system is composed of high-tech subsystems, among which main electric equipment such as transformers and converter are critical components determining the performance of rolling stock. We developed a measurement system for on-line test and evaluation of performances of KHST. The measurement system is composed of software part and hardware part. Perfect interface between multi-users is possible. A new method to measure temperature was applied to the measurement system. By using the system, fault diagnosis and performance evaluation of electric equipment in Korean High Speed Train was conducted during test running.

  • 비행체의 탑재장비의 야전정비를 위한 자동점검장비는 특수목적을 위한 소수의 비행체를 운용할 경우에는 통합 설계하는 것이 효율적이다. 통합형 자동점검장비는 공통적으로 사용되는 인터페이스를 식별하여 각 점검대상장비 별 점검에 사용할 수 있도록 분기하거나 경로를 생성해주는 방식이 사용된다. 분기 및 경로 생성 시 RTD, TC 및 아날로그 전압과 같은 고정밀 신호는 신호분기 및 연결 시 도선저항에 의한 측정 오류가 발생할 수 있다. 이러한 도선저항에 의한 측정 오류는 점검대상장비 설계 시 많은 제약을 가져오게 된다. 본 논문에서는 아날로그 전압 및 고정밀 신호의 측정오류를 최소화 할 수 있는 통합형 자동점검장비의 고정밀 신호의 보정방법을 제시한다.

  • 재료의 변형률과 진동 측정을 실습하기 위한 외팔보 형태의 실험 장치를 개발하였다. 주변에서 구할 수 있는 재료와 저렴한 제어기를 사용하여 제작하였다. 철재 자로 된 외팔보에 서로 다른 위치에 변형률게이지를 설치하여 외부 하중에 따른 보의 변형률을 측정할 수 있도록 구성하였다. 전자석으로 외팔보를 가진하며, 함수발생기로 원하는 주파수로 외팔보에 진동이 발생하도록 하였다. 장치를 사용하여 수행이 가능한 세 가지 실험을 제시하였으며, 각각 저울 만들기 시험, 외팔보의 공진주파수 측정 실험, 그리고 가진주파수와 측정 주파수의 차이를 구하는 실험이다. 간단하면서도 저렴하게 만들 수 있는 실험 장치와 실험 포트폴리오를 통해 효과적인 하중 및 진동 측정 교육 수행이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

Design of Remote Management System for Smart Factory

  • As a decrease in labor became a serious issue in the manufacturing industry, smart factory technology, which combines IT and the manufacturing business, began to attract attention as a solution. In this study, we have designed and implemented a real-time remote management system for smart factories, which is connected to an IoT sensor and gateway, for plastic manufacturing plants. By implementing the REST API in which an IoT sensor and smart gateway can communicate, the system enabled the data measured from the IoT sensor and equipment status data to the real-time monitoring system through the gateway. Also, a web-based management dashboard enabled remote monitoring and control of the equipment and raw material processing status. A comparative analysis experiment was conducted on the suggested system for the difference in processing speed based on equipment and measurement data number change. The experiment confirmed that saving equipment measurement data using cache mechanisim offered faster processing speed. Through the result our works can provide the basic framework to factory which need implement remote management system.

Microwave and RF Heating for Medical Application under Noninvasive Temperature Measurement Using Magnetic Resonance

  • Recent development of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment enables interventional radiology (IVR) as diagnosis and treatment under MRI usage. In this paper, a new methodology for magnetic resonance (MR) scanner to apply not only diagnostic equipment but for treatment one is discussed. The temperature measuring procedure under MR is to measure phase shift of $T_1$, which is the longitudinal relaxation time of proton, for the position inside a sample material with the application of pulsed RF for heating inside the sample as artificial dielectrics. The result shows the possibility to apply MR as temperature measuring equipment and as a heating equipment for applying such as hyperthermia heating modality.

  • 본 논문은 반도체 제조 장비 중 몰드 장비에서 슬릿빔을 이용하여 칩 적층 높이를 측정하는 방법을 연구하였다. 본 논문에서는 슬릿빔을 이용한 높이 측정 방법의 기본 원리를 응용하여 반도체 제조 장비 안에 적용하면서 칩의 적층높이 측정 성능을 높이기 위하여 두 가지 방법을 연구하였다. 첫째로, 카메라 노출 시간과 높이 측정 반복성의 관계이며, 둘째는 PCB(Printed Circuit Board)휨 현상에 대한 측정 오류 최소화를 위하여 최소자승법을 응용하여 측정 성능을 향상 시킬 수 있었다.

Design and Analysis of Lorentz Force-type Magnetic Bearing Based on High Precision and Low Power Consumption

  • Magnetically suspended control & sensitive gyroscope (MSCSG) is a novel type of gyroscope with the integration of attitude control and attitude angular measurement. To improve the precision and reduce the power consumption of Lorentz Force-type Magnetic Bearing (LFMB), the air gap flux density distribution of LFMB has been studied. The uniformity of air gap flux density is defined to qualify the uniform degree of the air gap flux density distribution. Considering the consumption, the average value of flux density is defined as well. Some optimal designs and analyses of LFMB are carried out by finite element simulation. The strength of the permanent magnet is taken into consideration during the machining process. To verify the design and simulation, a high-precision instrument is employed to measure the 3-dimensional magnetic flux density of LFMB. After measurement and calculation, the uniform degree of magnetic flux density distribution reaches 0.978 and the average value of the flux density is 0.482T. Experimental results show that the optimal design is effective and some useful advice can be obtained for further research.

서지 보호기의 열화 특성과 온라인 진단장치 (Deterioration Characteristics and an On-Line Diagnostic Equipment for Surge Protective Devices)

  • This paper dealt with the deterioration characteristics and an on-line diagnosis equipment for SPDs (surge protective devices). An accelerated aging test was carried out using a $8/20{\mu}s$ standard lightning impulse current to analyze the changes of electrical characteristics and to propose the diagnostic parameters and the criterion for deterioration of ZnO varistor which is the core component of SPDs. Based on the experimental results, an on-line diagnosis equipment for SPD was fabricated, which can measure the total leakage current, reference and clamping voltage. The leakage current measurement circuit was designed using a low-noise amplifier and a clamp type ZCT. A linear controller, the leakage current measurement part and a HVDC were used in the measurement of reference voltage. The measurement circuit of clamping voltage consisted of a surge generator and a coupling circuit. In a calibration process, measurement error of the prototype equipment was less than 3%.

  • 기존의 순환여과식 양식장에서는 전문 인력의 부족, 수입 측정 장비에 대한 높은 의존도 등으로 인하여 많은 어려움을 격고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 최신 IoT기술을 적용한 광학식 센서(pH, DO)를 이용하여 양식장 수조 내 오염도를 빠른 시간내에 측정할 수 있는 자동 수질 측정 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 기존 시스템의 문제점은 양식장 수조를 사람이 일일이 확인하거나, 측정 장비를 수조 속에 넣고 직접 측정을 하여 물고기의 생육에 좋지 않은 영향을 주는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 시스템은 측정 장비를 수조 속에 담그지 않고 간접 측정을 하는 방식을 제안하고 염분 및 다수의 오염 물질이 포함된 환경에서도 양식장 내의 물고기의 생육에 영향을 주지 않고 지속적인 측정이 가능한 시스템을 개발하였다.

X선관의 실효초점 측정에 관한 고찰 (Measurement of Focal Spot Size of Heavy Loaded X-ray Tubes)

  • In order to assure safety of both patient and operator, and to provide uniform quality radiographs, it is necessary to perform periodic calibration of diagnostic X-ray equipment. A basic parameter of diagnostic equipment's and its image sharpness is the size(and shape the energy distribution) of the focal spot as viewed along the central X-ray beam. This size determines the resolution possible with the equipment and also determines the heat characteristics of an anode. A fine focus tube gives high resolution but causes high local heating of target. In past, the pin-hole and star pattern image measurement for evaluation of resolution have been widely used, but it produced blurring and inaccuracy of image. So newly inverted Ug-meter has advantage in more convenient measurement method and less out-put bias than other image measurement. The authors intended to compare measured focal size between Ug-meter and focal spot test tool, changed state from setting to now of units.
