  • In the comparative study of investment alternatives with different life times. It is wrong to compare a long-life time alternative with different life times. It is to wrong to compare a long-life time alternative with a short-life time one by the same measure; therefore, a measure is needed which is suitable for the characters of alternatives. The purpose of this study is in present a method to evaluate investment alternatives with different life times and to explain the assumptions and calculating method.

  • It is known that digital circuits may produce correct output signals even when some faults are present in them. A reliability measure, known as signal reliability, is the probability that the circuit output is correct. In this paper, the reliability measure is analyzed first and a new procedure for evaluation of the signal reliability is presented. This procedure simplifies signal reliability calculations and can easily be mechanized.

  • We herein propose a new design procedure of a flexible container ship model where the vertical bending and torsional vibration modes are similar to its prototype. To achieve similarity in torsional vibration mode shapes, the height of the shear center of the model must be located below the bottom hull, similar to an actual container ship with large opening decks. Therefore, we designed a ship model by imparting appropriate stiffness to the hull, using urethane foam without a backbone. We built a container ship model according to this design strategy and validated its dynamic elastic properties using a decay test. We measured wave-induced structural vibrations and present the results of tank experiments in regular and freak waves.

공동주택단지의 범죄 예방 설계를 위한 평가방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Evaluation Method of CPTED in Multi-Family Housing)

  • This study aims to make evaluation method as a means to evaluate the crime prevention through environmental design of multi-family housing. According to the analysis of correctness and usefulness of evaluation method in multi-family housing, the preliminary evaluation method is selected. The correctness and usefulness of evaluation method is examined by 2 works. One is analyzing the results of experts' advice about evaluation method. The other is analyzing the results of the case studies of 3 housing sites. Those improve evaluation method to measure the crime prevention through environmental design objectively. As a result, the system of classification is divided into evaluation area and evaluation item. Evaluation area is sorted into four types, i.e. public space, semi-public space, semi-private space, and equipment. Evaluation scores according to evaluation area are different. Evaluation scores of public space are 73. Those of semipublic space are 196. Those of semi-private space are 75, Those of equipment are 28. Evaluation item is divided into 20 items. 20 items are; the entrance of complex, apartment building, recreational space and parking space etc. Checklists according to evaluation items are proposed and detail evaluation criteria according to checklist are proposed.

  • In this paper, we consider a multi-factor, multi-cause decision making problem of supply chain. And we show how to measure the operational efficiency of the components in supply chain and also how to improve the efficiency of each component and whole supply chain. As a methodology, the data envelopment analysis (DEA) is adopted to measure the efficiency by considering weight factors such as flexibility, information sharing, logistics level, etc. The proposed algorithm allows whole supply chain to have the improved efficiency rate.

  • In this paper we deal with a kinetic performance test system using hydraulic cylinder. It is possible to measure only current using the conventional electro-mechanical actuator when the bogie is in the process of the tilting. This makes impossible to measure the force acting on the tilting actuator. In order to overcome this problem a kinetic performance test system using hydraulic cylinder is proposed. The proposed system provide easy kinetic evaluation for the tilting mechanism and evaluation for the co-relation between load acting on the tilting actuator and the moving displacement(strock) of the tilting actuator.

  • We proposed a specialized model of performance measurement to measure the training performance of the trainees in cyber practical training. Cyber security professionals are cultivating their expertise, skills, and competencies through cyber practical training in specialized education and training institutions. The our proposed process of trainee evaluation is consisted of an evaluation component discovery, evaluation item selection, evaluation index catalog, ratings and criteria decision, and calculation formula. The trainee evaluation is consisted of a formative evaluation during the training and an overall evaluation after finished training. Formative evaluation includes progress evaluation and participation evaluation, and overall evaluation includes practice evaluation and learning evaluation. The evaluation is weighted according to the importance of evaluation type. Because it is evaluated actual skills and abilities, competencies are assigned a high weight, while knowledge and attitudes are assigned a low weight. If cyber security trainees are evaluated by the proposed evaluation model, cyber security professionals can be cultivated by each skill and knowledge level and can be deployed by importance of security task.

일본 대학입시센터시험 이과 문항 분석 (Analysis of Science Items of the Japanese National Center Test for University Admissions)

  • 수능이 1994학년도에 처음 시행된 이후 17년 동안 시행되어 오면서 기출을 피하면서 사고력을 측정하는 참신한 문항을 출제하는 것이 점점 어려워지고 있다. 그러므로 수학능력 측정을 위한 양호한 문항의 개발을 위한 지속적인 연구가 필요하다. 이러한 맥락에서 수능 문항 개발에 필요한 시사점을 도출하기 위해 수능과 같은 국가 수준의 선다형 대입 관련 시험 분석의 일환으로 일본 센터시험을 분석하였다. 이 연구에서는 센터시험의 체제와 이과 출제 과목 및 응시과목의 수나 응시자 현황을 파악하고, 2009년 1월에 시행한 '이과' 시험의 검사지 구성, 문항 유형, 특이 사항 등을 분석하였다. 또한 센터시험 문항을 수능과 관련하여 내용 요소 및 행동영역에 따라 분석하였고, 아울러 우리나라 수험생의 관점에서 예상 정답률을 추정하였다. 분석 결과, 센터시험 문항은 고급 사고력보다는 지식 측정 또는 낮은 사고력을 주로 측정하고 있다. 또한 문항 당 배당되는 시간이 수능보다 길며 문항 수가 고정되지 않았고, 배점과 답지 수도 다양하다. 그리고 실생활 소재를 많이 사용하면서 문장 표현을 엄격하게 하지 않는 경향이 있다. 센터시험에서 원점수를 사용하는 것으로 보아 선택 과목 간 유 불리 문제가 크지 않은 것으로 보인다. 또한 문과나 이과의 계열 구분 없이 대부분의 학과에서 선택 과목으로 과학과목 성적을 요구하고 있다.

공공시설물의 자산관리체계구축을 위한 모델 개발 (Development of an Asset Management System for Public Facilities)

  • 국내 공공시설물의 유지관리체계는 시설물의 안전을 유지하기 위한 진단 및 보수 개념에서 시설물의 성능을 평가하여 유지관리하는 성능평가 방법으로 전환되고 있다. 그러나 국내에서는 시설물의 유지관리를 위한 성능평가 방법이 정립되지 않아 성능평가가 적절하게 이루어지고 있지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 시설물의 안전관리 위주로 한 단순 유지관리전략을 보완하기 위해 성능평가 개념을 도입한 자산관리 모델을 제안한다. 본 모델은 시설물의 유지관리 정보를 수집하는 방법으로 WBS를 활용하는 방법을 제안하여 기존 모델과의 차별화를 이루었다. 또한, 본 모델에는 시설물의 성능평가에서 가장 중요한 서비스 수준 평가방법과 성능척도 요소를 제안하였으며, 사례분석을 하여 본 모델의 적절성을 평가하였다.
