This study aimed to figure out the action research process and experience and to examine the significance of such experiences to teachers who implemented action research. This study took in-depth interviews with three experienced teachers and analyzed collected data. In order to carry out action research, they must start from the point of their standing and find the most suitable methodology for the method of their own life. There might cases that they felt strangeness because of unexpected reaction, and struggled hard against uncertainty. But, they finally experienced the joy of completion of their research. Such experiences gave them opportunities to reflect on their own lives and to escape any mannerism through concentration and enthusiasm. And they could recognize the importance of record of ordinary life in a meaningful way, and also recognize the meaning of process as a new start other than failure. So, they made efforts to grant meaning in a widened perspective. And they found themselves to live as empirical researchers. This study demonstrates that teachers in the educational field could not only have sufficient quality to be researchers but also need to be more aware of such talents.
In this study, I tried to find out the diffusion and the receptive process of new culture with examining the costume of Ksitigrbha Bodhisattva Buddist drawings, which were drawn by our people in the Koryo dynasty. I classified each part of the costume of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas and found out overall characteristics and analyzed their meaning. The results are as follows ; First, because there were several ‘du-gun’ of peculiar types, Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas were supposed to have ‘du-gun’ before Buddhism was diffused throughout China through the West. The type of ‘du-gun’ was deveoloed more and more through the West and appeared as the type of ‘du-gun’ of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas in ‘Ji-Jang Do’ in the Koryo dynasty. And the pecuilar type of du-gun was supposed to have been under the influence of the costume of Taoism in those days. Second, I think that the Buddhist defication of the costume in Ksitigarbha Bodhisattvas was a phenomenon in the process that belief in Ksitigarbha was united with popular belief and widely diffused and became to have its important meaning of its own. Third, the feminine tendency of the costume in Ksitigarbha meaning of the early goddess remained partly in the costume even though Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva was god in India. Fourth, Several found shape designs are supposed to be affected by the diplomatic relationship with the West. As mentioned above the costume ‘Ji-Jang Do’ in the Koryo dynasty was affected by china\`s, world-wide in that ga-sa was Gandira style based on Hellenistic art. Therefore, the reception if new culture was selective on the basis of the country\`s need and this new culture was changed into something peculiar to affect other countries simultaneously with reception.
This thesis is to argue what is the meaning of the expression of cherry blossoms appearing in "Genjimonogatari(源氏物語)" in relation with the structure of Monogatari after checking each example. First we reviewed some examples of the works before "Genjimonogatari", and clarified that cherry blossoms were used as metaphorical expressions of a beautiful woman in waka(和歌), and that at the same time cherry blossoms functioned as the symbol of futility, anxiety together with beauty. Especially in "Kokinshu(古今集)" we identified that there increased the examples where the combination of the expression as falling cherry blossoms, and fog and cherry blossoms was done. In "Genjimonogatari" we examined the examples of cherry blossoms of Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and clarified that Murasakinoue(紫の上) was a woman with an ideal character in looks and inner personality through the diverse viewpoints of characters. In Monogatari of Kashiwagi(柏木) of Chapter 2, the scene where he peeped Onnasannomiya(女三宮) was composed by the combination of cherry blossoms and fog, and we pointed out that we could feel the anxiety, ominousness of the love of the couple through this scene. And the composition of these scenes was also repeated in Monogatari of Chapter 3, and we discussed through these examples that the figurative expressions of cherry blossoms were used about the object of the love not to be realized. Next, we checked that Yugiri(夕霧) who had observed Kashiwagi's love toward Onnasannomiya gave a figurative expression of Kashiwagi's wife Ochibanomiya(落葉の宮) as cherry blossoms. Although Genji(源氏) realized Onnasannomiya's immaturity, Kashiwagi compared her to "cherry blossoms", and Yoogiri compared the woman whom Kashiwagi recognized as "Ochiba(落葉)" to "cherry blossoms", through which we have read the twisted human relation and ironical structure of Chaper 2. Finally, we checked the examples of cherry blossoms in Ooigimi(大君), Nakanokimi(中君), Ukihune(浮舟) who were Ujijujo's heroines. Ooigimi and Nakanokimi were expressed as cherry blossoms by Kaoru(?) and Nioumiya(?宮) and were disclosed as their ideal women. In contrast, Ukihune had something to do with two men with no such figurative expression, so it was pointed out that the absence of such metaphorical expression clarified that the meaning of her existence was nothing but the meaning as a mesiudo(召人).
The purpose of this study is to theoretically explore the pedagogical meaning of Flipped Learning (FL) through the lens of Bakhtinnian Dialogism. Flipped learning has emerged based on technological development, which enables educators to reorganize educational space and time. In the new converged time and space, teachers changed the activities in and out of classes, flipped lectures with students' activity, and redefined the role of teachers and students. These dialogical characteristics of FL results in several educational consequences: first, underscoring educational dialogue, second, extending the participation in the dialogical chain, third, deconstructing the existing authority of knowledge, and escalating the self-directedness of learners.
Suffering is a human burden that may not be truly avoidable. In order to put that view in perspective we must examine suffering in a form as isolated from self-inflicted behavior as possible. The suffering of a child is one such example. The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of suffering in the teenager and is to analyze difference of suffering in children and adult. The subjects of this study were 6 childrens (12year-17year) including in-patients and out-patients of a general hospital who were diagnosed as having cancer. The data was collected from October 10, 1996 to April 15, 1997. Qualitative research methods of in-depth interview and participant observation were used for data collection. Data analysis progressed according to the fieldwork phases suggested by the Hybrid Model. According to the results of the study, the meaning of suffering in the teenager can be described as follows : Suffering is an inevitable experience of all human beings. When each child experiences pain and destroying child-adult relationship, suffering in which threaten one's personal integrity is perceived differently among each child depending on their personal inner factors, one's significant others, exterior circumstances and stimuli. Suffering brings severe and unendurable distress which accompany anguish, depression, anxiety and fear. This findings provide data for new insights of suffering. When caring for teenager who experience suffering, nurses need to consider the influence of suffering. Moreover, appropriate nursing interventions aimed at relieving suffering need to be developed.
As the development of digital and technological sophistication, architectural speculation hierarchy had been more and further diversified and brought on the changes with system of architectural color meaning. Architectural color had been influences on evocation of effect and meaning by association, had the attributes of communication with human being, in common with precision, non-verbal and non-quantitative creative field. Color could not been defined as one conclusively standard symbol and figured out in inter-relationship with correlation, mental status and interaction. Color in architecture could been promptly defined as the tool of visualization in building or structure through the essential criterion to be measured with shape, space and author's thought. In consequence, color in architecture could been re-defined as the speculation concept for real characteristics creation(color as design factors on architect and color to be expressed by program) in itself, and color supporting system as for transposition of light and space enlargement scheme. Consequently, color in architecture could been turnover from perceived color to anthropological color through the real value creation scheme in itself.
Marcel Wanders, one of the greatest designers in the world of contemporary design, was born in the Netherlands. His works run the gamut from interior design to furniture design to lighting design, building a unique world of works. He started to gain fame when he presented "Knotted Chair" at Droog Design in 1996, which was made out of aramid ropes and later became his symbol. In 2000, he established "moooi," a world-renowned design label. By giving characteristic qualities, his works are given meaning, and like a fantastical dream, their images are extremely fantastical and stimulating. As can be seen in his character cover, he puts emphasis on the harmony between minimalism and decoration, establishing his own unique design concept. In this thesis, based on Marcel Wander's design philosophy, his overall design characteristics were classified into theatrical effects and storytelling. Expressive elements depaysement, eclectic mixture, and scale modification were derived from theatrical effects and analyzed; for storytelling, object, semantic cues, and dream and fantasy were derived and analyzed. A distinguishing feature of such analysis is his meaning-centric design approach, the principle by which to form long-term relationships with the users by creating user-centric designs that make them find meaning and values in diverse experiences in their daily routine, giving them familiar yet unique experience.
The purpose of this study was to analyze on the aesthetic collaboration appeared on the modernism arts and Haute Couture designers in the 20th century as the necessity of analyzing on the pure meaning of collaboration which is a talking point associated with culture of the 21st century. The study was performed by means of documentary method. The results are as follows; First, it was analyzed that the collaboration in the pure meaning of the first half of the 20th century had partial common points which was stated as Art Inspiration in the arts collaboration out of the 21st century collaboration. Secondly, the Haute Couture designers(Paul Poiret, Gabriell Chanel, Madeleine Vionnet and Elsa Schiaparelli) have common point that they involved into the artworking through active exchange with many artists from diversified fields in the 20th century. Especially, the characteristics of the collaboration in the forms, materials and color of their works were appeared visually. When the collaboration in the first half of 20th century was regarded entirely as mental matter of manifestation of pure aesthetics, in can be said that the big difference was mostly the maximization of mutual interest between collaborator and collaboratee in the 21st century collaboration.

HTML revolutionized the way we specify the appearance of data on the Internet. Today, XML (the eXtensible Markup Language) is changing the way we specify the meaning of data. XML, lets document authors define their own markup tags and attribute names to assign meaning to the data elements in the document. Further, XML elements can be nested and include references to indicate data relationships, as Listing One. Unlike HTML, XML markup tags do not describe how to render the data. Rather, they provide descriptions of data, allowing software to understand the meaning of the data automatically For publishing, instead, XSL, the eXtensible Stylesheet Language as a separate language , is in charge of specifying the presentation of XML documents. The purpose of this study is to discover how to transform your organizations relational data into potential e-commerce, business-to-business, and web application with XML and XSL documents. For this purpose, the literature survey, first of all, was undertaken to understand the basic structures of XML documents. Second, one case implementation was performed to understand how to transform Access 2002 XML Files into HTML with XSLTand VB script. The results come out to be successful, more or less. But the limitations of it still exist. One immediate limitation is that XML documents are essentially tree structure, as dictated by the nesting of elements. However, relational database tables are two dimensional matrix structure. In addition, real-world data often is graph structured-a single data element may be referenced in multiple ways. However, this study is useful for understanding how to convert relational database into XML documents and to publish them using XSL or VB script.
Purpose: The objectives of this study were to investigate the level of meaning in life(MIL) among university students as well as identify the effects of death perception, including good death and concerns about dying, and self-esteem on MIL. Methods: A questionnaire survey was developed and carried out using a convenient sampling method (N=301). Data were analyzed by applying descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The average score for MIL was 4.70 on a 7-point scale. The factor of purpose of life received highest score among all factors in MIL. MIL was positively correlated with age, good death, and self-esteem. However, concerns about dying were negatively correlated with MIL. MIL showed a strong association with self-esteem(r=.72). Specifically, self-esteem(${\beta}$=.608), satisfaction of school life(${\beta}$=.190), relationship with parents(${\beta}$=.180), good death(${\beta}$=.080), school grades(${\beta}$=.078), and age(${\beta}$=.074) all significantly influenced MIL. These variables accounted for 61.0% of the total variance. Conclusion: The results show that self-esteem is an important factor for MIL among university students. Therefore, self-esteem should be carefully considered to increase their MIL. These research findings can be utilized to support programs such as counseling and education of university students.
