FKM Elastomer의 물리적 및 화학적 성질에 미치는 산화마그네슘의 영향 (Effect of Magnesium Oxide on Physical and Chemical Properties of FKM Elastomer)

  • 극한 조건에서도 탄성체의 특성을 발휘할 수 있는 자동차용 연료호스의 개발을 목적으로, FKM 불소고무에 금속산화물인 MgO를 첨가하여 함량에 따른 불소고무의 가황 특성, 물리적 성질, 내열성, 내연료성 및 열적 특성의 변화를 조사하였다. MgO는 $0{\sim}20phr$ 범위에서 혼련하였으며, 유동특성과 Mooney 점도를 측정한 결과, 미가황 고무의 가황 특성은 MgO의 양이 증가할수록 $t_{s2}$$T_{c90}$의 시간이 빨라지는 경향을 나타내었다. MgO의 함량이 증가함에 따라 경도 및 모듈러스 값은 조금씩 증가하였고, 인장강도 및 신장율은 조금씩 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 내열성 실험은 $130^{\circ}C,\;150^{\circ}C,\;170^{\circ}C$에서 70시간동안 각각 수행한 결과, 기본물성의 변화율은 온도차에 따라 변화폭이 상대적으로 적었다. 내연료유성 실험은 $40^{\circ}C$에서 70시간 동안 ASTM FUEL A, B, C, D에 대하여 각각 수행하였으며, FUEL A에 비하여 FUEL D로 갈수록 기본물성의 변화율 폭이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 TGA/DSC를 이용하여 산화마그네슘의 첨가에 따른 배합고무재료의 열적 특성도 연구하였다. FKM 고무재료에 대한 MgO의 최적배합비는 기본물성, 내열성, 내연료성 및 열분석 결과를 고려할 때 6 phr이 첨가된 시료가 고무재료의 규격 범위 내에서 가장 적합하였다.

선박용 Shaver Type 로프절단장치의 안전성 및 성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Safety and Performance Evaluation to Shaver Type Rope Cutter for Ships)

  • 우리나라는 연안해역을 집약적으로 활용하기 때문에 폐기물로 인한 해양사고 발생률도 높은 편이다. 항해하는 선박의 추진기에 해양부유물, 폐로프, 폐어망 등이 감기는 사고를 부유물감김사고로 정의하고 있다. 이러한 사고를 예방하기 위해 본 연구에서는 국내에 상용화되어 세이버 타입(Shaver type)의 로프절단장치를 유한요소법을 이용하여 구조안전성 검토와 수조시험을 통해 절단 과정 및 성능평가를 진행하였다. 그 결과 로프절단장치를 구성하는 모든 파트는 0.5s 도달하기 전 파손되었으며, 인장강도 대비 발생한 최대응력을 기준으로 각 파트의 안전계수는 최소 2이상으로 나타났다. 수조시험에서는 세이버타입의 절단장치의 절단 과정을 살펴보았고, 실제 해상에서 부유중인 폐로프가 다양한 각도로 진입하는 것을 고려하여 케이스 별로 설치 각도를 설정하였다. 그 결과 모든 케이스에서 절단이 되었으며, 절단 날이 어떠한 각도에 장착되어도 로프를 절단하는데 문제가 없을 것으로 판단된다.

반복적 염수침지가 강섬유 혼입 콘크리트의 휨성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Repeated Wet/Dry Cycles of Salt Solution on Flexural Performance of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete)

  • 콘크리트는 건설분야의 대표적인 복합재료로써 아주 우수한 재료이나, 불균질성을 가진 취성적 재료로 휨이나 인장력에 대해 취약한 거동을 보인다. 이러한 단점을 보완하기 위해 다양한 종류의 섬유를 보강한 콘크리트를 활용하고 있다. 특히, 강섬유는 다른 고분자 섬유에 비해 시장성이 좋으며 우수한 역학적 성능을 가지고 있어 콘크리트 보강재로 널리 사용되고 있다. 그러나 해양 환경에 노출된 부위에 시공할 때 염소이온 침투에 따른 부식의 영향으로 콘크리트의 내구성을 저하시킨다는 문제점을 가진다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 반복적 연수침지가 강섬유 혼입 콘크리트에 미치는 다양한 영향들에 관해 평가해 보고자 하였다. 실험 결과에 따르면, 37주간의 반복적 염수 침지 기간 동안 콘크리트의 상대동탄성 계수의 감소는 관찰되지 않았고, 염수 침지 종료 후의 휨강도의 감소도 발생하지 않았다. 반복시험 종료 후 시편의 파단면 육안 관찰 시 강섬유 부식의 증거는 확인할 수 없었다. 그러나 휨인성은 감소하였는데, 이는 콘크리트 시편의 절반 정도가 휨 시험의 최대 측정변위인 3mm지점에 도달하지 못하고 파괴가 발생하였기 때문이다. 비록 반복적 염수침지가 강섬유의 부식을 통한 콘크리트 균열을 발생시키지 못하더라도, 휨인성에는 영향을 미칠 수 있으므로 해양환경에 강섬유 보강 콘크리트를 사용 시 이를 유의해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

O2 플라즈마 표면 처리 공정 후 라미네이션 공정으로 제작된 흑연 페이스트 기반의 저비용 및 고감도 유연 압력 센서 (Low Cost and High Sensitivity Flexible Pressure Sensor Based on Graphite Paste through Lamination after O2 Plasma Surface Treatment Process)

  • 저렴한 전도성 흑연을 인쇄전자 공법으로 유연 압력 센서를 개발하였다. 유연 압력 센서는 의료, 게임, AI 등 미래 산업에 활용될 소재로 각광받고 있다. 유연 압력 센서용 인쇄전극을 다양한 전기-기계적 특성을 평가한 결과 최대인장률 20%, 30°의 인장/굽힘, 간이 맥박 시험에서 일정한 저항 변화율을 보였다. 이렇게 검증이 완료된 전극을 시뮬레이션하여 더 적합한 matrix 패턴을 설계하였다. Serpentine 패턴을 활용하여 matrix 패턴 제작과 인캡슐레이션을 동시에 진행할 수 있는 공정을 활용하였다. 인쇄된 흑연 전극의 한쪽 면에 접착력 증가를 위한 O2 플라즈마 표면처리하고, 90°회전시켜, 라미네이션 공정을 통해 2개의 전극을 하나로 제작하였다. 이렇게 제작된 matrix 패턴을 인체의 손목 맥박 위치에 부착하여 실측을 진행한 결과 남녀 상관없이 일정한 저항 변화율을 보였다.

DGEBA/방향족 아민(DDM, DDS) 경화제의 벤젠링 사이의 관능기 변화가 물성 변화에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (Chemo-Mechanical Analysis of Bifunctional Linear DGEBA/Linear Amine (DDM, DDS) Resin Casting Systems)

  • 방향족 아민 경화제의 벤젠링 사이의 관능기 변화가 반응특성, 기계적특성 및 열적특성에 미치는 영향을 고찰하기 위하여 양쪽 말단기에 에폭시기를 가지는 대표적 범용 에폭시수지인 DGEBA (diglycidylether of bisphenolA)와 방향족아민 경화제 diaminodiphenyl methane (DDM), diaminodiphenyl sulphone(DDS) 각각을 1:1의 당량비로 혼합하여 동일한 조건으로 경화하였다. 반응특성, 열 안정성, 에폭사이드기의 전환율, shrinkage(%), 유리전이온도와 선팽창계수, 기계적특성 그리고 굴곡 파단특성을 알아보기 위하여 각각 DSC 분석, TGA 분석, FT-IR 분석, 밀도측정, TMA 분석, 인장시험과 3점 굴곡시험, 광학현미경 시험을 행하였다. 그 결과, 에폭시수지 경화물의 분석, 밀도측정, TMA 분석, 인장시험과 3점 굴곡시험, 광학현미경 시험을 행하였다. 그 결과, 에폭시수지 경화물의 특성은 경화제의 벤젠링 사이의 관능기 구조에 따라 매우 큰 영향을 받았다. 즉, 벤젠링 사이에 길이가 길고 bulky한 술폰기를 포함한 DDS는 epoxiderl의 전환율, shrinkage(%), 유리전이온도, 인장탄성율, 인장강도, 굴곡탄성율 및 굴곡강도의 값이 길이가 짧고 compact한 메틸기를 가지는 DDM 경화물계 보다 높게 나타났지만, 최대발열온도, 열안정성, 선팽창계수의 값은 낮게 나타냈다. 이것은 술폰기의 강한 전기음성도와 메틸기의 전기 양성적인 repulsive한 성질의 차이와 epoxide group의 전환율의 영향인 것으로 판단된다. 굴곡 파단면의 관찰 결과는 DDM경화물계의 feather like structure의 각개 grain의 크기가 DDS 경화물계 보다 작은 것을 확연하게 보여준다.gG1 항체 합성은 spleen B cell과는 달리 TGF-$\beta$3에 의해 증가하였다. 본 실험의 결과는 전반적으로 TGF-$\beta$3가 TGF-$\beta$1과 비슷한 정도로 마우스 B cell의 항체합성에 영향을 미침을 보여준다. 그렇지만, 생체 내에서TGF-$\beta$3의 발현조절이 TGF-$\beta$1과 다를 것으로 예상됨으로 과연 TGF-$\beta$3가 B cell 분화에서 중요한 조절인자로 작용할지는 좀 더 연구되어야 할 것이다.적을 볼 때 적극적으로 수술에 임하는 것이 바람직하다고 사료된다.나타나 이의 규명을 위해서는 향후 p53 단백의 유전자 변이와 두 단백의 발현과 환자의 생존율과의 상관관계에 대한 연 구가 요할 것으로 사료된다.을 줄이기 위한 대책이 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다.4.00$\pm$0.14, 2.50$\pm$ 0.31, 4.02$\pm$0.70으로 기준(1.84$\pm$0.21)에 비하여 IP군과 10 mM 칼슘 전처치군에서 유의하게 증가하였다 (p<0.05). 그러나 허혈대조군에서는 두 분획 모두 기준선과 비교하여 큰 차이가 없었다. 결론: 이상으로 적출 관류 토끼심장에서 장시간 동안의 허혈전 높은 농도의 칼슘으로 전처치하면 허혈후 재관류시 심근기능의 회 복증가는 기대하기 어려우나 IP와 유사한 심근괴사 범위 감소효과가 있으며 이러한 효과는 아마도 칼슘의 매개에 따라 PKC활성화가 일어남으로써 나타나는 것으로 생각된다. 점을 함께 고려하면 그룹 B에서의 더 큰 증폭 효과가 광배근의 활성도 및 수축력의 차이로부터 기인한다고 평가할

섬유 보강토벽체의 인장력 평가 및 변형 예측 (Evaluation of Tensions and Prediction of Deformations for the Fabric Reinforeced -Earth Walls)

  • 기존의 보강토벽체에 주로 이용되어온 steel strict등 고강도 인장보강재는 주변 뒤채움흙에 비해 상대적으로 변형이 작기 때문에, 설계검토시 과강재 자체에서 유발되는 변형의 크기에 대해서는 크게 유의할 필요가 없었다. 그러나 비교적 저강도인 섬유보강재의 경우, 한계상태에서 예상되는 섬유보강재 자체의 변형량은 주변 뒤채움흙의 소성변형 유발에 필요시 되는 변형량을 종종 초과하게 되며, 이와같은 크기의 과도한 변형량은 보강토벽체 구조체 자체의 안정성 확보 측면에서 허용할 수 없는 경우가 대부분이다. 결국 보증토벽체 구조체의 전면부 발생변위에 대한 일반적인 허용조건을 충족하기 위해서는, 극한강도 보다 훨씬 작은 크기의 강도가 섬유보강재의 경우 발휘하는 것으로 보아야 할 것이며, 따라서 최종적인 구조체 안정검토를 위해서는 보강재 자체의 예상변형량에 대한 평가가 섬유보강재의 경우 특히 중요시 된다. 보강재의 인장응력 -변형률 관계는 강보강재의 경우 선형탄성거동으로 가정할 수 있으나, 섬 유보강재의 경우에는 일반적으로 비 선형거동을 나타낸다. 본 연구에서는 쌍곡선 함수를 이용하여 섬유보강재의 비선형 거동특성을 모델링하였으며,또한 뒤채움흙 다짐으로 인한 유발응력등을 고려하기 위해 Ehrlich SE Mitchell, Duncan등이 제안한 방법을 수정하여 섬유 보강토벽체의 안정 해석법을 제시하였다. 본 안정 해석법 에서는 침투수압의 영향 및 뒤채움흙의 구속효과에 따른 섬유보강재의 부분적인 상대강성 변화 등을 고려하였으며, 이를 토대로 깊이별 각 섬유보 강재의 최대인장력 및 변형량 등의 예측이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 제시하리라 하는 안정해석법의 적용성을 위해, paraweb polyester fibre multicord, non-woven polyester 지오텍스타일 및 knitted polyester 지오그리드 등 3가지 종류 보강재의 인장응력-변형률 관계 실험결과를 회귀분석하여 쌍곡선 함수형태로 이와같은 섬유보 강재의 비선형거동을 모델링하였다. 또한 이를 토대로 한 븐 연구 해석법의 적합성 검토를 위해, Ho & Rowe가 제시한 유한요소해석결과 및 LCPC, FHWA등에서 시행한 시험결과와 깊이별 각 섬유보강재의 최대인장력,변형량 및 지점별 변형률 등에 대해서도 비교하였다. 아울러 섬유 보강재의 상대강성, 뒤채움흙의 깊이별 구속효과의 정도, 다짐정도 및 침투수압 등이 각 섬유보강재의 변형량 및 전체적인 변형형태 등에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 분석하였다.

다양한 기후변화에 따른 콘크리트 구조물의 성능중심형 설계 평가 (Evaluation of Performance Based Design Method of Concrete Structures for Various Climate Changes)

  • 현재 전 세계적으로 석탄, 석유 등 화석연료의 사용으로 지구 온난화가 진행되고 있으며, IPCC는 지난 100년간(1906~2005년) 지구 지표기온이 $0.74^{\circ}C{\pm}0.18^{\circ}C$ 상승하였고 최근 50년간의 온난화 증가 추세($0.13^{\circ}C{\pm}0.03^{\circ}C$/10년)를 살펴보면 과거 100년간의 변화($0.07^{\circ}C{\pm}0.02^{\circ}C$/10년)에 비해 거의 2배가 증가 하였다고 발표하였다. 이러한 원인으로 폭염, 폭설, 폭우 및 슈퍼태풍 등과 같은 이상기후, 극한기후 현상이 지속적으로 증가 되고 있다. 또한 이로 인하여 사회기반시설의 파괴 및 손상, 인명피해가 급증하고 있으며 콘크리트 구조물의 경우 장기간 지속되는 극심한 기후변화에 따라 급속도로 노화되고 있다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해서는 기후변화에 적합한 기준 및 시공 기술 등이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하고자, 콘크리트 양생에 영향을 미치는 온도, 습도, 일조량, 풍량 등 다양한 기후인자 요소 중 주요 요인인 온도와 습도를 다양한 케이스별로 실험을 실시하였으며, 각 케이스 별로 압축강도(3, 7, 28일), 할렬인장강도(3, 7, 28일)실험을 하였다. 그리고 실험 데이터를 바탕으로 콘크리트 시편의 성능을 평가하고 만족도 곡선을 작성하며, 이를 성능중심형설계방법(PBDM : Performance Based Design Method)에 적용하였다. PBD란 과거의 실험 해석과 현재의 실험 해석등의 여러 결과들을 합하여, 구조물에서 요구되는 재료 성능을 만족시키는 성능 기반형 설계법 으로써, 최근 전세계적으로 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 그리고 PBD의 최종 목적은 사용기간 중 구조물이 충분한 성능을 갖출 수 있도록 시공, 설계하는 것이며 이를 사용 할 경우 문제 해결에 있어서 다양한 방법을 제시 할 수 있고, 경제성과 기능성 면에서도 최대한의 효과를 이끌어 낼 수 있다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. To synthesize microspheres for biomedical application, "two stage shot growth method" was developed. The uniformity ratio of synthesized microspheres was always smaller than 1.05. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm.
