  • It proposes an efficient control algorithm to increase electric power transmission efficiency between photovoltaic power generating system and the grid. The main controller finds a maximum efficiency condition by considering the quantity of power generated from PV arrays, the number of inverters, and efficiency of PV inverter. According to the condition, a relay board arranges a point of contract of PV arrays. By the disposition of PV arrays, it assigns the optimized power on each PV inverter. Operational principle of the proposed maximum efficiency point tracking algorithm is given in detail. To verify the validity of the proposed approach, computer-aided simulation and experiment carried out.

  • This paper provides a solution for the problem of efficiency decrease caused by load variation. A novel control scheme of tracking the PT's operation frequency for the maximum efficiency is proposed. As a result, a high efficiency over $80\%$ has been achieved even under the output-current decrease down to $10\%$ of the full load current.

  • This paper proposes the control algorithm for maximum efficiency drive of PWM inverter - induction motor system with high dynamic performance. If the induction motor is driven under light load with rated magnetizing current, the Iron loss is excessively large compared with the codder loss which results in doer motor efficiency. Maximum efficiency drive of an induction motor can be achieved by controlling the magnetizing current to satisfy the optimal ratio that leads the total motor loss to be a minimum value at a given speed. The proposed control algorithm essentially uses vector control technique and adopts voltage decoupling control strategy to prevent the degradation of dynamic performance due to reduced magnetizing current. To verify the proposed method, digital simulations and experiments are carried out for a squirrel-cage induction motor with the rating of 2.2[kW].

  • 속도와 토크의 값이 다른 5개의 동작점에서 효율이 최대가 되는 자속을 구한 후, 5개의 자속을 이용하여 효율이 최대가 되는 자속의 곡면을 구한다. 주어진 속도와 토크를 이용하여 자속곡면에서 효율이 최대가 되는 자속을 구한 후, 이 자속을 초기값으로 하여 미리 정해진 양만큼 자속을 변화시키면서 최대효율제어를 수행한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 제안한 방법에 의하여 신속히 최대효율제어를 위한 자속으로 수렴함을 보인다.

  • 유도전동기 고정자자속 기준제어의 최대효율제어를 위한 초기자속 값의 계산방법을 제안한다. 3개의 자속에 대한 입력을 계산한 후 3점을 2차 보간하여 2차 함수의 최소점, 즉 입력이 최소가 되는 자속을 구하고, 이 자속을 초기 값으로 하여 최대효율제어를 수행한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 기존의 방법에 비해서 제안한 방법에 의하여 최대효율점으로의 수렴시간이 단축됨을 보인다.

  • 본 논문에서는 대표적인 MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking)제어 알고리즘인 일정전압제어, P&O(Perturbation and Observation)제어, IncCond(Incremental Conductance)제어에 대하여 서술하고, 그 효율성을 검토해 보았다. 이를 위하여 시뮬레이션 및 효율시험을 통하여 정상상태 및 과도상태에 대한 각 알고리즘별 특성 및 효율을 분석하였다. 또한, MPPT 제어의 고효율화를 위하여 기존의 제어 알고리즘을 개선한 Two-Mode 제어법을 제안하였으며, MPPT 효율측정을 위한 회로구성 및 측정 방법을 제시하였다.

  • An experimental study was conducted on the effect of compressor capacity control range of heat pump on the seasonal energy efficiency ratio with variation of the maximum and minimum compressor input frequencies. To obtain seasonal energy efficiency ratio, steady state test at the maximum, minimum and intermediate compressor speed and cyclic test at the minimum compressor speed should be conducted. Maximum input frequency was varied to 95Hz, 105Hz, and 115Hz, and the minimum input frequency was varied to 35Hz, 45Hz, and 55Hz. The seasonal energy efficiency ratio increased as the input frequency of the compressor decreased. The maximum input frequency had only slight effects on the SEER.

저압 에어포그 시스템을 설치한 온실의 냉방효율 (Cooling Efficiency of Low Pressure Compressed Air Fogging System in Naturally Ventilated Greenhouses)

  • In order to derive the efficient utilization of low pressure compressed air fogging system, cooling efficiencies with control types were analyzed through cooling experiments in tomato greenhouses. The control types were set up with temperature control, humidity control, temperature and humidity control, and time control. It showed that the cooling effects were 0.7 to $3.3^{\circ}C$ on average and maximum of 4.3 to $7.0^{\circ}C$, the humidification effects were 3.5 to 13.5 % on average and maximum of 14.3 to 24.4 %. Both the cooling and humidification effect were the highest in the time control method. The cooling efficiency of the air fogging system was not high with 8.3 to 27.3 % on average. However, the cooling efficiency of 24.6 to 27.3 % which appears from the time control is similar to the cooling efficiency of high pressure fogging system experimented in Japan. The air fogging system is operated by low pressure, but its efficiency is similar to high pressure. We think because it uses compressed air. From this point of view, we suggest that the air fogging system can get the cooling efficiency of similar levels to that of high pressure fogging system and it will have an advantage from clogging problem of nozzle etc.

  • 유도전동기 고정자자속 기준제어의 최대효율제어에서 경부하시 자속은 작은 값이 된다. 이러한 상태에서 갑자기 부하가 증가하였을 경우 전동기는 부하토크에 대응하는 토크를 발생시켜야 하지만, 낮은 자속 때문에 토크제한조건에 의한 토크성분전류는 작은 값으로 제한되며, 부하토크에 대응하는 토크를 발생시키지 못해서 속도제어가 안 되는 문제가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 방법을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, a maximum efficiency control technique of real-time processing in which parameter variation is compensated in vector control of an induction motors(I.M.) is proposed. Based on equivalent model of I.M., a loss minimization factor(LMF) with the variations of speed is derived. To solve problem of inaccuracy of LMF curves due to machine parameter variation, rotor resistance estimation is performed by using instantaneous reactive power. The estimated rotor resistance values are applied to the maximum efficiency control with a LMF.
