전자유압제어식 리그형 CVT 개발과 최적운전 (Development and Optimal Operation of an Electro-Hydraulic Controlled Rig Type CVT)

  • An electro-hydraulic controlled rig type CVT(Continuously Variable Transmission) system was developed and its performance tests were carried out for the optimal operation. A CVT map was suggested based on the speed ration-axial force-torque relationship which was derived from the metal belt CVT mechanics. Also, a real time control and operation software was developed for the electro-hydraulic CVT system. By using the software and the CVT map, the control system was designed for the CVT speed ratio control with various drive modes. The electro-hydraulic CVT system developed in this study showed that the optimal operation algorithm could be obtained for the best fuel economy or the maximum power mode.

  • This paper presents some real performance of two typical bilateral teleoperation benchmark tasks: peg-in-hole and surface tracking tasks. The tasks are performed by an energy-bounding algorithm in the master control and position-based impedance algorithm in the slave control. Performance is analyzed for the position-force tracking capabilities from free space motion to surface contacting motion. In addition, preliminary user performance is evaluated by measuring the completion time and maximum/average contact forces. The quality of the measured performance is also compared with that of other existing approaches.

  • The purpose of this study is to bring out the optimal design factors which effect on dynamic characteristics in the design of proportional flow control valve with fast response characteristics, and to verify the validity of the design factors In this study, force feedback type flow control valve with nozzle-flapper is studied. And, the influences which fixed orifice, nozzle diameter, and maximum displacement between nozzle and flapper effect on dynamic characteristics are analyzed. We have done simulations using the optimal design factors and simulink(Matlab) as a simulation tool, and verified the validity of our simulations by means of comparison our simulation results with an experimental results of another similar valve.

A MULTIPATH CONGESTION CONTROL SCHEME FOR HIGH-QUALITY MULTIMEDIA STREAMING

  • As network adaptive streaming technology becomes increasingly common, transport protocol also becomes important in guaranteeing the quality of multimedia streaming. At the same time, because of the appearance of high-quality video such as Ultra High Definition (UHD), preventing buffering as well as preserving high quality while deploying a streaming service becomes important. The Internet Engineering Task Force recently published Multipath TCP (MPTCP). MPTCP improves the maximum transmission rate by simultaneously transmitting data over different paths with multiple TCP subflows. However, MPTCP cannot preserve high quality, because the MPTCP subflows slowly increase the transmission rate, and upon detecting a packet loss, drastically halve the transmission rate. In this paper, we propose a new multipath congestion control scheme for high-quality multimedia streaming. The proposed scheme preserves high quality of video by adaptively adjusting the increasing parameter of subflows according to the network status. The proposed scheme also increases network efficiency by providing load balancing and stability, and by supporting fairness with single-flow congestion control schemes.

급기 가압 제연구역 출입문에 적용되는 개방력 기준의 적합성 여부에 관한 연구 (Verifying the Suitability or Unsuitability of the Opening Force Criteria Applied to Air Pressurized Access Door to a Smoke Control Zone)

  • 본 연구에서는 급기 가압 제연구역 출입문의 개방력 기준을 실측하여 한국인의 체형에 적합한지 여부를 검증하였다. 개방력 기준의 검증은 기술표준원의 인체표준정보를 근거로 NFSC 501A, NFPA 92A 및 BS-EN 12101-6와 비교하였다. 개방력을 측정할 때 인체의 자세는 일어서서 오른손으로 출입문을 미는 것을 기준으로 하였다. 실측한 값을 분석한 결과 30대 남성 및 여성이 미는 힘의 최대값을 나타냈고, 60대에서 최소값을 나타냈다. 또한 모든 연령에서 미는 힘의 편차가 크게 발생한 것으로 확인되었다. NFSC 501A 와 비교한 결과 남성은 20대, 30대, 50대를 제외한 모든 성별과 연령에서 기준보다 낮은 값을 나타냈다. 또한 NFPA 92A 의 기준과 비교할 때 모든 성별과 연령에서 측정치의 평균이 기준보다 낮다. 그리고 BS-EN 12101-6 의 기준과 비교할 때 남성은 모든 연령에서 기준보다 높았으며, 여성은 모든 연령에서 기준보다 낮은 것으로 측정되었다. 따라서 신체적 조건이 외국인과 다른 한국인의 체형을 고려할 때 현재 적용되고 있는 제연구역 출입문의 개방력의 국내 기준 110 N은 하향 조정할 필요가 있는 것으로 판단된다. 또한 국제 기준을 임의로 사용하는 것도 문제가 있으므로 건축물과 사용자의 특성을 고려한 기준의 적용이 필요하다는 것을 제안하고자 한다.

계단식 정전빗살구조물을 이용한 수평구동형 미소공진기의 주파수 조정 (Tuning of a Laterally Driven Microresonator using Electrostatic Comb Step Array)

  • We present a new post-fabrication frequency tuning method for laterally driven electrostatic microresonators using a DC-biased electrostatic comb array of linearly varied finger-length. The electrostatic tuning force and the equivalent stiffness, adjusted by the DC-biased tuning-comb array, have been formulated as functions of geometry and DC tuning voltage. A set of frequency-turnable microresonators has been designed and fabricated by 4-mask surface-micromachining process. The resonant frequency of the microfabricated microresonator has been measured for a varying tuning voltage at the reduced pressure of 1 torr. The maximum 3.3% reduction of the resonant frequency is achieved at the tuning voltage increase of 20V.

2상 하이브리드형 리니어 스텝핑 전동기의 미세스텝에 관한 연구 (A Study on Micro-step of 2-phase Hybrid Type Linear Stepping Motor)

  • In this paper, a voltage equations, a thrust force equations and kinetic equation are derived from the basic structure of a 2-phase hybrid type linear stepping motor(HLSM). And a micro-stepping method in order to eliminate effectively the resonant phenomena and to increase the positional resolution of the HLSM was proposed. The proposed micro-stepping method can divide one step into the maximum 128 micro-steps under simple control system. The dynamic characteristics of proposed micro-stepping method were analyzed by the ACSL(Advanced Continuous Simulation Language) with the voltage equations, the thrust force equations and the kinetic equation, and were measured by laser experimental system. As the result, the justice of theory was confirmed, and the resonant phenomena, the positional resolution and dynamic thrust were improved by the proposed micro-stepping method.

가스 스프링을 이용한 높이조절 벙커침대 설계 (Design of a Height Adjustable Bunker Bed Using a Gas Spring)

  • A bunker bed is a type of furniture that efficiently utilizes a narrow indoor space by having a high bed and using the empty space below as a living and storage space. The demand for multi-purpose furniture is increasing due to the recent increase in single-person households and wide-spread shared accommodation. According to the consumer research, one of the major drawbacks of a bunker bed was to get on and off the bed through a ladder or stairs. In order to overcome these problems, it was confirmed that the height adjustment function that can easily adjust the minimum and maximum heights of the bed was necessary. In this study, a height adjustable bunker bed was designed by using a gas spring that generates a repulsive force by the compressed gas inside. The design process consisted of the following three steps: Firstly, the hysteresis characteristics due to a friction and spring constant of a commercial gas spring were confirmed by measuring the repulsive force vs. compressed displacement. Secondly, requirements of the vertical lifting force exerted on the bed against gravity force were derived. Finally, the height-adjustable bed using the four-bar link mechanism was designed with 4 parameters so that the bed weight of 60-70 kgf could be adjusted to 800 mm in height by an affordable initial operation force. The performance was verified through prototype production and the results of vertical displacement and force to move were nearly the same as designed. In addition, an electrically operated height-adjustable bed was also designed with linear actuators and the performance was proved with the prototype.

구조물 스마트제어를 위한 ETMD(Electromagnetic Tuned Mass Damper)개발 (Development of ETMD(Electromagnetic Tuned Mass Damper) for Smart Control of Structure)

  • TMD는 다른 진동제어장치에 비해 구조가 단순하며, 구조물에 발생하는 정형화된 형태의 진동에 우수한 제어성능을 보인다. 그러나 다른 제어장치에 비하여 진동제어범위가 좁아 예상치 못한 외부하중으로 인하여 발생하는 진동주기에는 취약하다. 본 연구에서 개발된 ETMD는 Mass를 전자석으로 구성하여 전류를 공급할 때 자기장이 형성됨과 동시에 마찰판과의 마찰력을 상승시켜 Mass의 거동을 순간적으로 제어한다. 개발된 ETMD의 제어성능 평가를 위하여 모형 단순보 교량 중앙에 ETMD를 설치한 후 중앙부 최대 수직변위가 발생하는 3.02Hz 조건으로 강제 진동을 발생시켜 휨거동 제어실험을 수행하였다. 실험결과 ETMD는 중앙부 최대 수직변위가 발생하는 3.02Hz에서 변위 감쇠율이 57.51%로 우수한 제어성능을 발휘하며 그 외에 진동주기에도 안정적인 제어성능을 보이는 것을 확인하였다.

선박용 디젤엔진을 위한 새로운 MR 마운트의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of New Magnetorheological Mount for Diesel Engines of Ships)

  • 이 논문은 선박용 디젤엔진의 진동제어에 적용할 수 있는 MR 유체기반 마운트(MR 마운트)의 최적설계를 제시한다. 이 연구에서는 압착모드, 유동모드, 전단모드를 포함하는 혼합모드가 제안되었고 설계되었다. 효과적인 진동제어를 위하여 요구되는 MR 마운트의 작동 댐핑력을 결정하기 위하여 디젤엔진의 기진력이 분석되었다. 이 분석에서 V-type엔진이 고려되었으며 피스톤의 토크에서의 속도와 가스압력간의 관계를 유도하였다. 결과적으로 상업적으로 이용 가능한 MR 유체의 장의존적 유동특성과 기진력을 통합함으로써 적절한 MR 마운트의 크기가 설계되었다. 게다가 기하학적 제한조건이 고려된 최대 구동력을 얻기 위해 ANSYS를 이용하여 최적설계가 수행되었다. 자기밀도분석을 통해 바닥간격과 코일의 반지름과 같은 최적설계변수가 결정되었다.
