  • The purpose of this note is to study the relation between Heyting algebra and t-algebra which is the dual concept of BCK-algebra. We define t-algebra with binary operation ${\rhd}$ which is a generalization of the implication in the Heyting algebra, and define a bounded ness and commutativity of it, and then characterize a Heyting algebra and a Boolean algebra as a bounded commutative t-algebra X satisfying $x=(x{\rhd}y){\rhd}x$ for all $x,y{\in}X$.

  • The object of this paper is to prove two unique common fixed point theorems for a pair of a set-valued map and a self map satisfying a general contractive condition using orbital concept and weak-compatibility of the pair. One of these results generalizes substantially, the result of Dhage, Jennifer and Kang [4]. Simultaneously, its implications for two maps and one map improves and generalizes the results of Dhage [3], and Rhoades [11]. All the results of this paper are new.

  • The object of this paper is to introduce the concept of a pair of semi-compatible self-maps in a fuzzy metric space to establish a fixed point theorem for four self-maps. It offers an extension of Vasuki [10] to four self-maps under the assumption of semi-compatibility and compatibility, repsectively. At the same time, these results give the alternate results of Grebiec [5] and Vasuki [9] as well.

  • In this paper, we prove the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the Cauchy functional equation f(x+y) = f(x)+f(y) and of the Jensen functional equation $2f(\frac{x+y}{2})=f(x)+f(y)$ over the p-adic field ${\mathbb{Q}}_p$. The concept of Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability originated from the Th.M. Rassias' stability theorem that appeared in his paper: On the stability of the linear mapping in Banach spaces, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 72 (1978), 297-300.

  • In this paper, we study some properties of spaces having countable tightness and spaces having weakly countable tightness. We obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions for a space to have countable tightness. And we introduce a new concept of weakly countable tightness which is a generalization of countable tightness and show some properties of spaces having weakly countable tightness.

  • This research reviewed literatures on proof in mathematics education. Several views of proof can be classified (and identified) such as psychological approach (Platonism, empiricism), structural approach (logicism, formalism, intuitionism) and social approach (ontology, axiomatic systems). All these views of proof are valuable in mathematics education society. The concept of proof can be found in the form of analytic knowledge not of constructive knowledge. Human beings developed their knowledge in the sequence of constructive knowledge to analytic knowledge. Therefore, in mathematics education, the curriculum of mathematics should involve the process of cognitive knowledge development.

  • Global attractor is a basic concept to study the long-time behavior of solutions of the various equations. This paper is investigated with the existence of a global attractor for the beam equation $$u_{tt}+{\Delta}^2u-{\nabla}{\cdot}\{{\sigma}({\mid}{\nabla}u{\mid}^2){\nabla}u\}+f(u)+a(x)g(u_t)=h,$$ using multipliers technique and Nakao's Lemma.

  • We study some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy normal subgroups of a group. In particular, we obtain two characterizations of intuitionistic fuzzy normal subgroups. Moreover, we introduce the concept of an intuitionistic fuzzy coset and obtain several results which are analogous of some basic theorems of group theory.
