  • Lehmann [13] introduced the concept of positive(negative) dependence together with some other dependence concepts. Since then, a great numerous multivariate inequalities have been obtained. For a references of available results, see Karlin and Rinott [12], Ebrahimi and Ghosh [8] and Sampson [14]. Whereas a number of dependence notions exist for multivariate processes (see Friday [10]), recently, Ebrahimi [7] introduced some new dependence concepts of the hitting times of stochastic processes.

  • In this paper we introduce a new concept, a 'periodicizing' function for the linear differential equation with the periodic forcing function. Moreover, we construct this function, which is closely related with the solution of a difference equation and an indefinite sum. Using this function, we can obtain a representation of solutions from which we see immediately the asymptotic behavior of the solutions.

  • In order to research the logical system whose propositional value is given in a lattice, Y. Xu [4] proposed the concept of lattice implication algebras, and discussed their some properties in [3] and [4]. Y. Xu and K. Qin [5] introduced the notions of filter and implicative filter in a lattice implication algebra, and investigated their properties. In this paper, in the first place, we give an equivalent condition of a filter, and provide some equivalent conditions that a filter is an implicative filter in a lattice implication algebra. By using these results, we construct an extension property for implicative filter.

  • In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for families of occasionally weakly compatible mappings in Menger spaces using implicit relation. Our results extend and generalize the results of Altun and Turkoglu [9] in the sense that the concept of occasionally weakly compatible maps is the most general among all the commutativity concepts. Also the completeness of the whole space, continuity of the involved maps and containment of ranges amongst involved maps are completely relaxed.

  • We introduce a concept of continuous homomorphisms between Csaszar frames and show that the Cauchy completion in CsFrm gives rise to a coreflection in the category PCsFrm (resp. UCsFrm) consisting of proximal Csaszar frames and uniform continuous homomor-phisms (resp. uniform Csaszar frames and uniform continuous homomor-phisms).

  • This article concerns a ring property which is seated between IFP and IPFP rings. We study the insertion property of nonzero powers at zero products, introducing the concept of strongly IPFP ring. The structure of strongly IPFP rings is investigated in relation with nearly seated ring properties and ring extensions.

  • The concept of a fuzzy set, which was introduced in [9], provides a natural framework for generalizing many of the concepts of general topology to what might be called fuzzy topological spaces. The idea of fuzzy topological spaces was introduced by Chang [2]. The idea is more or less a generalization of oridinary topological spaces.

  • In 1998, Thakur and Singh introduce the concept of fuzzy $\beta$-continuity (Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 98(1998), 383-391). In this paper we introduce and study the notion of fuzzy slightly $\beta$-continuity. Fuzzy slightly $\beta$-continuity generalize fuzzy $\beta$-continuity. Moreover, basic properties and preservation therems of fuzzy slightly $\beta$-continuous functions are obtained.
