모시 소재의 문양에 따른 감성 이미지 평가 (The Effect of Motives of Ramie Fabrics on Sensory Image Evaluation)

  • The purpose of the study were to find out (1) the effect of motives on perceiver's image perception on ramie fabrics, and perceiver's trait, age and gender on sensory image evaluation of ramie fabrics. The research was a quasi experiment and experimental materials developed for the study were a set of material stimuli and semantic differential scales to measure sensory image of the stimuli, an aesthetic value scale. the independent design was motif design techniques(Plain Weave, burnt-out, embroidery, stripe, check). The subjects were 421 adults in Daejeon and Seachun. The results was as follows: The factor analysis of semantic differential scales for the ramie materials emerged 4 different image dimensions: attractiveness, hand, elegance, weight). The five design techniques showed significantly different image affects on some selective dimensions. The burn-out design gave the most attractive image, the embroidery design gave the softest image and plain weaved fabric presented the lightest hand image. Consumer's aesthetic values, gender and age tended to affect sensory image evaluation of ramie materials. On conclusion the result revealed that design strategy for the ramie material, design development though motives will be an essential process. and for material design pursued design image and target consumer's trait should be carefully considered.

  • The space can recognize by experience of sense, the each space to make identity through this. The contemporary architecture make possible an experience of sense through a complex paradigm and a composite concept expression. The material is not the assist to make a form, but to induce an image and an emotion of designers. The new material make possible the different design expression and the new aesthetic value. The appearance of difference material means the possibility to realize a designer's concept. The purpose of the study Is to analyze the new possibility of material expression through the study on material expression of interior design to associate the sense of being alive, to use basic data of the relation the material and the creativity. The study range is to define the sense of being alive, to image expression of material. It is to analyze the expression method of materials through to analyze the contemporary interior design. The expression method of materials to image the sense of being alive is direct and indirect and compromise. The interior design is visually to realize designer's concept, and the interior designer has to realize their it. The later study is on detail of material, in order to realize of material.

의류 소재의 이미지 평가 차원 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Evaluation Dimensions regarding the Image of Clothing Materials)

  • In this study, we classified adjectives to represent the image of clothing materials as the fundamental process for evaluation of the images on various fabrics and reviewed hierarchy and evaluation dimensions regarding the image of clothing materials. The adjectives to express the image of clothing materials were extracted from Fashion Magazine and Fashion Trend Book The similarity among adjectives was measured by pair-wise comparison without showing fabrics. From the result of the cluster analysis, 87 adjectives were finally extracted through the integrated processing of the adjectives with similar meaning and a close distance. Through the cluster analysis, the hierarchy of the clothing material images was examined. The clothing material images were classified into 12 primary sub-clusters such as ‘feminine', ‘warm', ‘neat', ‘classical', ‘pastoral.' ‘casual', ‘modern'. ‘ambiguous', ‘primitive', masculine', ‘abundant', and ‘arranged'. The dimensions evaluating the clothing material images were also developed using the multi-dimensional scaling method. A 4-dimensions and 8-axes system was established, which is composed of ‘masculine-feminine', ‘new-old', ‘casual-classical', and ‘ambiguous-arranged' images.

  • Because Insulation material is play an important part for normal work of electricity equipment, the study is advanced, but as the voltage of electricity system is raising, we required that new lnsulation material. They have excellent specific against high stress, namely the study of insulation increase and prevention diagnosis of insulation degradation of Epoxy or XLPE and so on. In this thesis. I utilize image processing technique for effective inspection of insulation material degradation.

Normal map 생성을 이용한 물질 이미지 분류 (Material Image Classification using Normal Map Generation)

  • 본 연구에서는 이미지 물질의 표면의 특성을 나타내는데 사용되는 노말 맵(normal map) 이미지를 생성하고, 이를 활용하여 원본 물질 이미지의 분류 정확도를 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 우선, (1) 이미지 내에서 물질의 표면 특성을 반영하고 있는 노말 맵을 생성하기 위해서 Generator로 Attention-R2 Gate를 적용한 U-Net을 사용하고, 생성된 노말 맵과 원본 노말 맵의 유사도를 Reconstruction loss로 활용한 Pix2Pix 기반의 방법을 사용하였다. 그 다음으로 (2) 앞서 만들어진 노말 맵 이미지를 분류 네트워크의 Attention Gate에 적용하여 원본 물질 이미지를 분류의 정확도를 개선할 수 있는 네트워크를 제안한다. 그리고 Pixar Dataset을 이용하여 생성된 노말 맵에 대해서, Ground Truth에 해당하는 노말 맵 사이의 유사도를 평가한다. 이 때, 유사도 측정 방식에 따라 다르게 적용된 reconstruction loss function의 결과를 비교한다. 또한 물질 이미지 분류에 대한 평가를 위해서 MINC-2500과 FMD 데이터셋을 기준으로 제안된 방법과 선행연구의 비교 실험을 통해 보다 정확하게 구분할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 방법은 이미지 내에서 물질을 파악하는 할 수 있는 다양한 이미지 처리 및 네트워크 구축에 기반이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This study aims to apply World Wide Web(WWW) image files to visual material in lectures. Especially handles "Aesthetics of Landscape Architecture." Visual Materials of 800 web sites were searched and analyzed. It is found that web search needs a subject oriented web guide. It says now a need of application web material to lectures. Matching the web images with the subjects of lecture, above all, is the main approach of this study. Thus, a list up method is supposed, series of web image data to be inclusive in two tables. The data distribute on sub-subject, and applicant as materials in picturing objects of slide show, web guide, and single image. Two cases of lecture subjects were chosen in this study. A case that needs various visual materials and other case of advanced materials that needs a special web guide. Chance of results of this study is not yet fully clear in real lecture. It is sure, as an article of cyber lecture that provided result of increasingly participant's interest. By this study, it will be possible a fully made lecture material by further study.her study.

  • As a way of decreasing trial and error that can occur in design, we investigated many kinds of material information and image information. We apprehended structures of material database and image database to suggest one of design method that provides information by connecting both databases. This has potentiality to improve the quality of design. Ultimately, this potentiality makes a great contribution towards strengthening competitiveness in design.

연안 해저 재질 분석을 위한 초분광영상의 보정 방법 (Method of Correcting Hyperspectral Image for Seabed Material Analysis of Coastal Area)

  • 연안 해저 재질 조사에 있어 위성 및 항공 원격탐사 자료를 이용하면 기존 현장조사 방법에 비해 효율성을 높일 수 있으나, 물에 의한 빛의 흡수 특성으로 인해 동일한 조건이더라도 수심에 따라 영상에서 다른 반사도를 보이게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초분광영상을 연안 해저 재질 분석 자료로 사용하기 위한 보정 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 연구지역은 강원도 사천진항에서 경포해수욕장 일대이고, 사용한 초분광영상은 CASI-1500 영상이다. 수체 반사율과 수심 간의 회귀모델을 통해 밴드별 산란흡수계수를 추정하여 영상에 적용하였다. 그 결과 수심보정 전 영상에서 매우 얕은 수심에 한정하여 판독이 가능하였지만 수심보정 후 상대적으로 깊은 수심까지 판독이 가능해지고, 수심에 따른 해저면의 반사율 변이가 크게 감소한 것을 알 수 있었다.

패션에 나타난 한국미의 조형성과 디자인 요소 (Design Factor and Formative Characteristic on Korean Aesthetic in Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to help understanding of Korean fashion image by studying of design factor and formative characteristic. The methods of this study are the study of academic literatures as well as practical study through the analysis of case studies about actual works. The summary of this study's results is like followings. First, Perspectives seeing formative characteristic on Korean fashion image are Shape with a line, color, material, pattern, accessories. Second, Design factors deciding Korean fashion image are pattern, then in order of shape, color, material, accessories. Third, In results on design factor deciding Korean fashion image, when fashion designers focus on pattern, pattern is focused on without regard for other design factor. But color and material are accompanied by other design factor in expressing Korean fashion image. As fashion design point expressing Korean astetic, use of pattern is minimized other design factor, color and material are used with other design factor, then Korean fashion image will come out more than other time else. If We develop Korean fashion design to concentrate on shape and pattern, Korean fashion culture will be known to world people and beautiful value of Korean fashion will be handed effectively.

  • Geometric shape in a surface material sometimes produces different slopes that have different illuminations. It causes some difficulties to get same classification results or to identify as an object for the different facets in a surface material. A regression method is suggested to adjust the spectral information of different facets in a surface material using image segments. The method to adjust spectral information in a building facets was very successful. The most important advantage of this method is to keep the intensity of spectral information as well as spectral response. This method can also be implemented in an adaptive way.
