전통주택 흙벽을 대신할 수 있는 건식벽체 성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Study of Dry-Wall Performance Evaluation - An Alternative to Korean Traditional Mud Walling -)

  • Korea's traditional house type, the Hanok, has been the essence of Korean domestic culture for hundreds of years. However, Hanok, have begun to disappear as result of urbanization. Because mud walls are crude and weak in water walls are also easily broken by impact. There are further problems in that construction cost is expensive and takes more time than modern house construction, and that the maintenance of Hanok is more difficult than people sometimes predict. Despite much interest in Hanok construction, there is a lack of in younger generation. Thus seeking new ways of maintaining Korea's traditional housing culture and extending Korean traditional houses is important. This study proposes directions for creating new residential environments for the future generation of Korea. A Dry-wall alternative to the Korean traditional mud wall is particularly needed. Dry-walling, made by sustainable materials such as mud board and wood, can strengthen the advantages and make up for the weaknesses of the Korea traditional mud wall. In this study, both wall types underwent various evaluations in terms of their performance in insulation testing, freezing and thawing testing, impacting testing and weight measuring (the size of material in this experiment was $69cm{\times}105cm$). On all of these tests, findings revealed that the dry-wall alternative performed better than traditional mud wall.

The effects of Pongamia pinnata on osteogenic differentiation and mineralization of human stem cells derived from the gingiva

  • Objectives: The aim of the present study is to evaluate the effects of the extract of Pongamia pinnata on the morphology, viability, and differentiation potential of human stem cells derived from the gingiva. Methods: Stem cells obtained from gingivae were cultured in an osteogenic medium in the presence of methanol extract of Pongamia pinnata (PPT) at concentrations ranging from 0.001 to 1%. Evaluations of cell morphology and cellular viability were done at Day 1. Alkaline phosphatase activity assays and Alizarin red S staining were performed to evaluate the osteogenic differentiation of stem cells. Results: The morphology of stem cells in the presence of PPT at final concentrations of 0%, 0.001%, 0.01%, 0.1%, and 1% did not produce any noticeable changes when compared with the untreated control group. Application of PPT produced a significant increase in alkaline phosphatase activity when compared to the control group. The results of the Alizarin Red S staining showed a significant increase of absorbance with the 0.001% group. Conclusions: Based on these findings, it was concluded that PPT could produce beneficial effects on mesenchymal stem cells with enhanced osteogenic differentiation.

장시간 연소 텅스텐/이트리아 노즐목 삽입재의 내열성능 평가 (Thermal Performance Evaluations of Tungsten/Yttria as Nozzle Throat Insert Material for Long Duration Firing)

  • 고온고압, 장시간 연소조건하에서 일정한 추력을 유지하는 로켓 추진기관 개발을 위해 W/$Y_2O_3$ 노즐목 삽입재를 평가하였다. 연소시간 증가에 따른 내열성능 변화를 검토하였으며, 비삭마 소재로 범용되고 있는 CIT의 내열성능과 비교하였다. 연소시간이 증가함에 따라 삭마율은 감소하는 경향을 보였으며, W/$Y_2O_3$의 삭마율은 CIT의 약 55 %이었다. 노즐목 삽입재의 육안검사와 미세조직검사에서 연소시간의 증가로 인한 특이 현상은 발견되지 않았으며, 진공 열처리는 균열 방지에 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 국내 건설시장의 기술경쟁력 강화의 일환으로 현행 콘크리트구조 설계기준을 시방설계(Prescriptive Design) 방식에서 성능기반설계(Performance Based Design) 방식으로의 전환과 관련된 연구가 활발히 수행되고 있다. 이와 관련하여 성능기반설계 방식에 기초적으로 필요하고 국내 레디믹스트콘크리트 제품에 최적화된 콘크리트 재료모델을 개발, 구축하기 위하여 기존 외국 성능기반설계기준상의 재료모델과의 비교검증과 국내에서 생산 및 사용되고 있는 레디믹스트콘크리트 제품의 품질현황 파악 및 성능평가 등을 수행하고 있다. 이에 현재까지 진행된 연구추진 현황 중 압축강도 및 탄성계수 예측모델 부분에 대하여 정리하였다.

나노층상실리케이트가 충진된 에폭시-나노콤포지트의 열적특성 연구 (Thermal Characteristics of Epoxy-Nanocomposites filled Several Types Nano Layered Silicate Particles)

  • A large number of studies on the various characteristics of epoxy-layered silicate nanocomposites, such as electric and mechanical, morphology have been conducted and contributed to improve their characteristics. However, studies on the effects of its thermal conductivities in the thermal properties are not enough, even though there are some excellent evaluations for its insulation performances. Thermal properties will cause thermal degradation and significantly affect the reliability of these epoxy-layered silicate nanocomposites. In the results of the analysis of epoxy-layered silicate nanocomposites $T_g$ for various types of organoclays (10A, 15A, 20A, 30B, and 93A), it showed an excellent thermal property of 10A. Also, it represented low values in storage modulus and mechanical Tan (Delta) at a high temperature section 140$^{\circ}C$ and excellent thermal properties due to its movement to the high temperature section in the case of the property of 10A in the measurement of DMA elastics and mechanical losses. In the results of the measurement of thermal conductivities, power ultrasonic applications represented a significant increase in thermal conductivities in the case of the applications of power ultrasonic and planetary centrifugal mixers. Based on these results, it is necessary to perform related studies because it can be applied as useful materials for future power facilities applications in mold and impregnate insulation.

위험물질 수송 시 위험성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Risk Assessment in Transporting Hazardous Material)

  • 본 연구에서는 지금까지의 고정설비에 대한 정량적 위험성 평가에서 벗어나 위험물질 수송 시 고려되는 여러 가지 요소들을 확인하여 발생할 수 있는 잠재위험성을 확인하였다. 수송 시 발생할 수 있는 잠재위험성을 확인하였다. 또한 수송 시 발생할 수 있는 최악의 사고 시나리오와 대안적인 사고 시나리오를 통하여 피해 영향 범위에 대한 개인적 위험성 및 사회적 위험성을 평가하였으며 최적의 경로를 선정하였다. 이러한 평가를 기반으로 수송 시 중대사고의 피해 영향 범위에 대한 효율적인 위험성 감소 대책과 지역사회, 공공기관, 산업체들과의 연계를 통한 사고에 따른 피해를 최소화 할 수 있는 체계적인 비상대응 시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것이다.

비선형 점성유체의 다상유동 모형을 이용한 토석류 전산해석 (NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF DEBRIS FLOW USING MULTIPHASE AND NON-NEWTONIAN FLUID MODEL)

  • Debris flow is a composition of solid objects of various sizes, suspension and water, which occurs frequently as the results of landslide following heavy rainfall. This often causes extensive damage in the form of socio-economic losses and casualties as witnessed during the incident around Mt. Umyeon, Seoul in 2011. There have been numerous investigation to mitigate the impacts from debris flow; however, the estimation as preparedness measure has not been successful due to nonlinear and multiphase characteristics of phenomena both in material and process inherent in the debris flow. This study presents a numerical approach to simulate the debris flow using open source code of computational fluid dynamics, OpenFOAM with non-Newtonian viscosity model for three phase material modeling. In order to validate the proposed numerical method, the quantitative evaluations were made by comparisons with experimental results and qualitative analysis for the dispersion characteristics was carried for the case of debris flow in the actual incident from Mt. Umyeon.

장시간 연소용 초소형 저삭마 목삽입재 선정을 위한 내열성능 평가 (Thermal Performance Evaluations on High-Erosion Resistance Materials for Very Small Nozzle Throat Inserts)

  • 고온/고압, 장시간 연소조건에서 비삭마에 가까운 삭마 특성을 갖는 초소형 목삽입재 선정을 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 평가 소재로서 C/SiC, CIT, W/$Y_2O_3$를 선정하였으며, 연소시간 20초의 내열성능평가모타로 시험하였다. 시험 결과 W/$Y_2O_3$가 가장 우수하였으나, 균열이 발생하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 각 소재들의 열반응 특성 및 내열 성능을 이해할 수 있었으며, W/$Y_2O_3$의 적용가능성을 확인하였다.

셀룰로오즈 흡음재의 음향적 특성 평가 (Evaluations of the Acoustics Characteristics of Cellulose Absorbers)

  • Eco-friendly material applied to building would be one of the materials which is must developed for global environmental conservation and reduction of carbon dioxide. For development of eco-friendly material, a cellulose absorber has been developed with waste paper through adjustment of various mix proportions. The developed cellulose absorber has been tested for its acoustic properties such as absorption coefficient and dynamic stiffness. The absorption coefficient was evaluated by developing six samples and using impedance tube and reverberation chamber. As a result of the evaluation, 0.64(NRC) was secured in absorption coefficient and 4.7 $MN/m^3$ was indicated in dynamic stiffness. Also, for practical use of developed absorbers as inner heartwood in drywall, comparison test of sound reduction index was performed with existing glass wool absorbers and constructed drywall of gypsum board. The results have shown 55 dB(Rw) of sound reduction index in glass-wool wall and 46 dB(Rw) in cellulose.

백화점 여직원 유니폼 개선을 위한 블라우스 패턴연구 -D백화점사례를 중심으로- (A Study of Blouse Pattern to Improve the Uniform of the Women Empolyee of Department Store -Focused in the Case of D Department Store-)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide the available date to improve the uniform e of the woman employee of the department more aesthetical and functional on the base of the former studies on their situation of uniform wearing. The process of the study was to compare and evaluate the studied uniforms made of elastic material with the one two times after pattern amendment. The nine subjects composed of threes of 20s, 30s and 40s of age and the evaluators were 5 clothing experts. The 5 scored scale of sensory evaluation method was used to evaluate the appearance and the moving function. The data were analysed with mean and t-test. The results were as flowers: 1.The material of blouse was changed with Poly-span to improve the appearance and the moving function. 2.The new uniform got far more good evaluations in the appearance and the moving function showing the significant difference in p<.001 level. 3.The improved uniform blouse pattern was presented fig2 and fig3.
