  • Recently, the more advanced control technologies are required to deal with the fast and accurate motion in manipulators. For these requirements, many manipulator control methods have been developed such as a computed torque method. This paper proposes a design method, a two-degrees-of-freedom internal model control (TDOF IMC), of the manipulator position control based on combination of the one-degree-of-freedom internal model control (ODOF IMC) system and the disturbance observer.   • This paper proposes a new paradigm for cooperation of multi-robot system for home service. For localization of each robot. the master robot collects information of location of each robot based on communication of RFID tag on the floor and RFID reader attached on the bottom of the robot. The Master robot communicates with slave robots via wireless LAN to check the motion of robots and command to them based on the information from slave robots. The operator may send command to slave robots based on the HRI(Human-Robot Interaction) screened on masted robot using information from slave robots. The cooperation of multiple robots will enhance the performance comparing with single robot.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the master plan of "The project on a comprehensive village development with a unit of a based township" through the master plan analysis and to help understand the implications of this project in order to maintain rural villages that can make local residents satisfied with them and promote the project of comprehensive rural village development as a successful way based on a comparative analysis through the in-site survey. The processes of this study are as follows. First, the analysis of development planning created a drawing based on linking business strategy by each region. The current situation and characteristics of planned public spaces were analyzed through the analysis of location and distribution of public spaces and facilities. Second, the situation analysis was performed by the task of shooting based on the basic plan information, and the master plan and status were confirmed through interviews. Also, the analysis of location and distribution of public spaces and facilities was conducted by a created drawings based on a survey. Finally, the detailed information of public spaces and facilities was compared with the investigation by in-site survey and analyzed through the Master Plan Strategy and a detailed classification of the types of facilities among each regional issues. In addition, by overlapping the planned drawings with the results, the results of formations were confirmed and the planned positional changes and the distribution of facilities were analyzed. As the results of "The project of comprehensive village development with a unit of based township", it was determined that there were many issues on cultural and welfare facilities in this project to meet the business objectives. Also, the facilities the residents needed, identified by interviews, were rural tourism facilities. According to the results, the residents cherished rural tourism facilities as much as basic living facilities. However, as the results of comparative analysis of public spaces and facilities, it was confirmed that mostly the plan was unfulfilled. Therefore, it is concluded that living, cultural and welfare facilities in the township can be maintained and expanded comprehensively as a purpose of "The project of comprehensive village development with a unit of based township" after not only planning process but also the project is fulfilled actually in rural areas.

  • Conventional 2D GIS has many difficulties to visualize and analyze three dimensional real world. To improve those problems and implement realistic spatial analysis, Interest in 3D GIS is increasing remarkably. Currently, Some local governments are carrying out pilot projects for 3D GIS, Government also is setting up the master plan and the road map for national information construction. In this study, introducing 3D GIS to urban planning, we evaluated limits of conventional regulation and proposed effective and reasonable means lot restricting location of merrymaking place in local government.

  • Creation village is to house diverse programs to complete the master plan which was established 13 years ago. The project was asked to envision the second stage leap of the college and also house programs related to the specialized creative activities with dormitory. The site is located right next to the main gate, so the project has very strong and symbolic image by its location. Therefore, the project is to carry out the college philosophy in education and also work with ideas of connection and separation with required diverse programs.

  • Making practical use of urban MAGLEV system which is tried by government includes technique development and railway construction. Because huge amount of money will be spent on this project, feasibility study is being carried out in order to check the feasibility and to devise the master plan in prior to making practical use of urban MAGLEV system. The key issues of feasibility study are possibility of technique development, economical feasibility, location of a model railway and the improvement of related laws and regulations. This paper shows the approach to solve these key issues.

  • This study aimed at reconstruction the forgotten rules of Silla's. Bulguksa and Sokgulam in their conditions of location and spatial orders. So tried to find out what Korean Traditional principles in spatial art were and how they actually worked. The locations of these two temples related to their immediate environments, the geometric cityscape of the old city Kyungju. This geometric figure formed the basic of city master plan in the 8the century. And it highly effected on not these two temples but also many other significant places in locating decision making.

Does cone-beam CT alter treatment plans? Comparison of preoperative implant planning using panoramic versus cone-beam CT images

  • Purpose: The present study was performed to compare the planning of implant placement based on panoramic radiography (PAN) and cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images, and to study the impact of the image dataset on the treatment planning. Materials and Methods: One hundred five partially edentulous patients (77 males, 28 females, mean age: 46 years, range: 26-67 years) seeking oral implant rehabilitation were referred for presurgical imaging. Imaging consisted of PAN and CBCT imaging. Four observers planned implant treatment based on the two-dimensional (2D) image data-sets and at least one month later on the three-dimensional (3D) image dataset. Apart from presurgical diagnostic and dimensional measurement tasks, the observers needed to indicate the surgical confidence levels and assess the image quality in relation to the presurgical needs. Results: All observers confirmed that both imaging modalities (PAN and CBCT) gave similar values when planning implant diameter. Also, the results showed no differences between both imaging modalities for the length of implants with an anterior location. However, significant differences were found in the length of implants with a posterior location. For implant dimensions, longer lengths of the implants were planned with PAN, as confirmed by two observers. CBCT provided images with improved scores for subjective image quality and surgical confidence levels. Conclusion: Within the limitations of this study, there was a trend toward PAN-based preoperative planning of implant placement leading towards the use of longer implants within the posterior jaw bone.

A Case Study on Resident Participative Primary Design of Integrated Rural Development Project with Master Planner - Onui Area in Hong Seong - (총괄계획가 시범사업에서 주민참여 기본계획 사례연구 - 홍성 오누이권역을 대상으로 -)

  • The aim of this study is to establish resident-participative primary design of integrated rural development project with master planner by setting principals of open competition and transparent decision-making about village-to-village or business-to-business unit enterprise in Onui area, Hong-seong Gun. For effective processing, software projects such as residents education and rural landscape planning are simultaneously conducted for enhancing project understanding and comprehensive development plan including related post project. Above all, competition teams for individual project were organized to establish the resident-participative primary design using survey tables of residents demand. In 6 months resident-participative processing of primary design, continuous education and visiting to advanced area are conducted in team unit. Strengthened ability of team unit can be used in management and maintenance after project development. To do this, residents with the same opinions gathered as one competition team and identified business plans such as village asset, business location, size, program, and method for land securing. Favorable decision-making process by residents who are audience in project presentation of competition team has conducted. After selecting competition teams, continuos consulting are operated for establishing operation and management for developed or remodeled facilities through repetitive education and visiting advanced area. In this process, unit project suggested by competition team are completed. Preliminary selection was conducted by experts who were entrusted by residents. After residents agreement of project main stream such as major facilities and location, final detailed cost of projects are work out. Suggested process in this study which choose the final project by residents would improve residents' voluntary participation in integrated rural development project through open competition in establishing primary design.

A Study on the Temporary Space Use for Urban Regeneration Strategy (도시재생 전략으로서 일시적 공간 활용에 관한 연구)

  • Currently, urban regeneration is carried out mostly in a permanent and fixed way of planning, and due to the nature of the master plan, it is limited to immediately accepting the opinions of residents. In this study, the factors of idle space were derived based on a temporary use strategy, and the direction of idle space was presented by comparing the importance of experts with the survey of residents' perceptions and preferences. As a result, residents preferred to improve the aging physical environment first because of the target location characteristics, while experts ranked it in line to reflect the importance of the use of temporary uses that can quickly improve the urban environment. Therefore, it is desirable to recognize the importance of the temporary use strategy and to refine the priorities of the two groups and conduct a temporary test to derive the optimal utilization measures and reflect them in the master plan. In order to implement a temporary use strategy in the future, it is necessary to present a space utilization plan that reflects detailed prior investigation through analysis of target location characteristics and usage patterns.
