A Conceptual Model of a B2B Food Distribution Platform Based on Blockchain Consensus Mechanism

  • We proposed a B2B food distribution platform by transforming an established food distribution and management platform based on blockchain technology. Our proposed model introduced a method to bring innovation into the domestic B2B food distribution market and systematically manage and utilize massive data (country of origin, producer, transaction, distributor, final consumer) generated within the food distribution process.

  • Recently the trade show is a massive marketing effort of a particular industry and introduces new products to potential customers, as well as the ability to elevate the brand's image and corporate identity. It is increasing its importance as a venue of communication. In these changes, the exhibition is required to have the emotional approach to enhance the dynamic and creative image of companies. Therefore, the product itself as well as the importance of various visual contents of the exhibition is increasing positive effect of the image and marketing on their products. In this sense, this study analyzes video contents of the exhibition that was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Europe's largest display show 'ISE (Integrated Systems Europe)' in 2013, focusing on the domestic company, Samsung, LG Electronics and other four foreign companies. The analysis is based on the Herbert Zettl's applied media aesthetics related to the video contents, through which we can find the way to the development of exhibition video contents making for Trade show.

  • With the advancement of information and communications technologies and the universal dissemination of smartphones, ICT-utilizing education is also getting the limelight. In the recent ICT-utilizing education, teachers and learners produce massive digital data by consulting massive information on the Internet, and the produced data is filtered in the process of education and utilized for the current and next educational programs. In order to construct the data well-suited for education from massive data available on the Internet, it is important to verify the quality of the educational data. To this end, we propose an educational website that can provide the data satisfying visual needs demanded by learners in terms of utilizing a digital curation system. In this paper, we also present a design and implementation of the website that non-ICT majors can easily use, which in turn enables them to conduct the education of creative personality utilizing image and video contents.

  • 최근 모바일 스마트 기기의 보급으로 스마트 기기에 탑재된 다양한 센서에서 수집되는 대량의 데이터를 분석하여 처리하는 빅 데이터의 시대는 위치기반 서비스(LBSs: Location-Based Services)에 까지 확대대고 있다. 이동객체 위치 예측 기술은 차세대 시공간 정보 서비스에서 요구하는 필수적인 기술로 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 그러나 대부분의 기존연구는 특정 어플리케이션에 종속적인 이동객체 위치 예측 질의처리 연구로서 증가하는 차세대 시공간 정보 서비스의 기술적 요구를 반영하기가 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문은 실세계 공간 네트워크에서 이동객체들의 초대용량 시공간적 데이터를 토대로 필수적으로 예측에 필요한 기본적이고 다양한 질의를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있는 범용적 분산 이동객체 예측 질의처리 프레임워크 설계를 제안한다.

  • 오버레이 멀티캐스트 전송방식은 멀티캐스트의 기능을 응용계층에 두어 인터넷상에서 멀티캐스트 전송이 가능한 새로운 방식이다. 그러나 오버레이 멀티캐스트 프로토콜들은 아직까지 표준화가 이루어지지 못하였고 대용량 콘텐츠 전송 시 많은 제약사항으로 인해 적용이 쉽지 않은 형편이다. 그러므로 오버레이 멀티캐스트 기반에 대용량 콘텐츠를 전송할 수 있는 새로운 전송기법의 연구가 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 공통의 파일을 수신하고자 하는 호스트간의 그룹을 설정하여 기존 오버레이 멀티캐스트 기법의 그룹관리와 전송관리를 분리하여, 강건한 그룹관리가 가능한 프로토콜 스택을 구현하고, 그룹 멤버들간의 분산 다운로드 전송기법의 도입을 통해 기존 데이터 릴레이 기반의 오버레이 멀티캐스트 방식보다 빠른 병렬적 전송기법을 제안하여 전송속도 대비 대역폭 소모율에 대한 전송효율을 개선하였다.

$23,000m^3$ 대용량 바닥스래브 콘크리트의 시공기술 (Construction technology of the massive bottom slab placed by $23,000m^3$ concrete quantity)

  • This research investigates the actual data and construction technology of the massive bottom slab placed by $23,000m^3$ concrete quantity in site of the in-ground type LNG receiving terminal having 20,000kl storage capacity. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum mix design and control the actual concreting procedures including concrete production, transportation, placement, vibrating and curing in site. For this purpose, the optimum mix design using ternary blended cement(furnace slag cement+fly ash) and under piping method having 11 gates and 7 distributors are selected. As test results of actual construction, concrete placement is finished during 68hours with good success and obtained the good quality of the fresh and hardened concrete including slump, air contents, no-segregation, compressive strength and low hydration heat. Also, actual data for all of concrete procedures are proved successful and satisfied with our specifications.

  • In this letter, we propose blackbox and scenario-based testing of multiplayer online games as well as simple load testing. Game testing is done from outside the source code, and the access to the source code is not required to testers because the game logic is described with a game description language and virtual game map. Instead of using a subset of the main game client for the test client, only game packet protocols and the sequence of packets are analyzed for new game testing. In addition, complex and various scenarios can be tested through combining defined actions. Scenario-based testing helps testers mimic real testing environments instead of doing simple load testing and improves the productivity of game testing.

  • This paper introduces a new automatic processing system: "Contents Factory" for the mass production of contents. Through the contents factory, we provide an authoring environment to improve the usability and the efficiency in producing contents. The contents factory integrates recycling techniques for contents resources, contents development engines, authoring tools, and interfaces into a total processing system. Since it is multi-platform based including mobile devices as well as PCs, one can easily produce complete PC and mobile contents from raw resources. We produced an example, "Sejong square" via the contents factory in order to demonstrate its effectiveness and usability.

SRS: Social Correlation Group based Recommender System for Social IoT Environment

  • Recently, the Social Internet of Things (IoT), the follow-up of the IoT, has been studied to expand the existing IoT services, by integrating devices into the social network of people. In the Social IoT environment, humans, devices and digital contents are connected with social relationships, to guarantee the network navigability and establish levels of trustworthiness. However, this environment handles massive data, including social data of humans (e.g., profile, interest and relationship), profiles of IoT devices, and digital contents. Hence, users and service providers in the Social IoT are exposed to arbitrary data when searching for specific information. A study about the recommender system for the Social IoT environment is therefore needed, to provide the required information only. In this paper, we propose the Social correlation group based Recommender System (SRS). The SRS generates a target group, depending on the social correlation of the service requirement. To generate the target group, we have designed an architecture, and proposed a procedure of the SRS based on features of social interest similarity and principles of the Collaborative Filtering and the Content-based Recommender System. With simulation results of the target scenario, we present the possibility of the SRS to be adapted to various Social IoT services.
