A Study on the Structural Causal Relationship of Marketing Stimulating Factors on Online Impulse Purchase through Consumer Value: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Consumer Value

  • Purpose: With the introduction of Web 2.0, the advent of smartphones, and the recent outbreak of COVID-19 worldwide, interest in online shopping has soared. In an online shopping environment, the desire for impulse buying increases compared to offline shopping. Research design, data and methodology: In this study, three marketing stimulating factors such as product factor, price factor, and facilitating factor were selected which affect impulse buying for clothing and accessory products in the Korean online shopping environment. The mechanism of causal relationship among them, and the role customer value between marketing stimulating factor and impulse buying was analyzed. Results: The analysis results are as follows. First, the product factor had a significant positive effect on consumer value and impulse buying. Second, the price factor also had a significant positive effect on consumer value and impulse buying. Conclusions: Although the facilitating factor had no significant influence on consumer value and impulse buying, the indirect effect through consumer value was positively significant. Consumer value had a positive mediating effect on impulse purchase in the order of price factor, product factor, and promotion factor.

충동구매에 미치는 마케팅자극요인: TV홈쇼핑 이용자를 중심으로 (Marketing Stimulating Factors of Impulsive Buying : Focus on TV Home Shopping Consumer)

  • The central purpose of this paper is to examine impulsive buying from home shopping channels and to investigate some stimulating factors of marketing on the customers' impulsive buying. on TV. Survey questionnaires were given to 303 customers who have purchased products through TV home shopping more than once. We report the following findings. First, we find that product stimuli factors exert an effect on impulsive buying of fashion goods, but not of specialty goods. Second, of the two promotion stimuli factors a bonus pack and an extended payment period-the latter is shown to have a great effect. Third, in the case of price stimuli factors, concrete stimuli such as a discount range have a greater influence than abstract stimuli such as a reliable pricing. Finally, in the area of situational stimuli factors, speeches of show hosts have a bigger impact than buying situations such as limit selling. We believe that the current research provides a significant result, theoretically and practically, with respect to customers' behavior in TV home shopping. The methodological limitation involving samples and sampling method and the regional limitation make it difficult to generalize the findings. It should be worthy classifying and managing marketing stimuli. More practical research is in order.

향기 감성 요인에 향수 제품의 태도와 구매 의도에 미치는 영향 -연령과 구매 수준 집단별 비교를 중심으로- (Effect of Fragrance Sensibility Factors on Attitude toward and Buying Intention of Perfume Products - Focusing on Age and Purchase Level Group Comparisons -)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify important factors influencing fragrance sensibility responses as well as to explore fragrance sensibility factors affecting attitude toward and buying intention of perfume products. For data collection, smelling experiments were conducted with seven groups of 34 female consumers who are aged from the 20's to 40's. Data were analyzed by ANOVA, t-test, factor analysis, and linear regression analysis. In results, five factors (pleasant, romantic, stimulating, modem, familiar factors) were generated from the factor analysis of 24 fragrance sensibility factors. These fragrance sensibility factors significantly affected both attitude toward and buying intention of perfume products. Pleasant, romantic and familiar factors were considered as important factors affecting attitude and buying intention while the stimulating factor affected only buying intention. Fragrance sensibility factors influencing attitude and buying intention of perfume products differed in terms of age and purchase level of consumers.

베이커리제품을 구매하는 여성소비자의 소비가치가 충동구매와 구매만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Consumption Value of Female Consumers who Buy Bakery Goods on Impulse Buying and Purchase Satisfaction)

  • This study was to examine how consumption value of female consumers affects impulse consumption and purchase satisfaction when they buy bakery goods, present specific determinant factors that affect them, and identify its influencing factors. The survey was conducted with those who have bought bakery goods of female consumers in Seoul and Kyonggi area, using a convenience sampling method. After a total of 400 responses was collected, 366 responses were included for the multiple regression analyses in order to test the hypotheses. To summarize findings from this study, analysis of the first hypothesis showed that "emotional impulse buying," "stimulating impulse buying," "reminder impulse buying," and "situational impulse buying" among impulse buying factors in consumption value factors had positive effects. The second hypothesis analyzed that "emotional impulse buying," "stimulating impulse buying," and "situational impulse buying" gave positive impacts on "purchase satisfaction," while "reminder impulse buying" had no influence. Analysis of the third hypothesis demonstrated that "consumption value" had positive effects on "purchase satisfaction." These findings were significant to examine consumption value that show the consuming pattern of consumers, analyze influencing factors on impulse buying of female consumers, and further present marketing strategies used for advantageous tools with competing stores to bakery owners or marketers.

  • Eco-friendly agricultural products(EFAPs) are on an increasing trend of supply, but not much enhancing the rate of consumption due to higher price premiums and safety concerns among core consumers. Recently, the overall domestic market is rapidly changing from supplier's into a consumer-oriented one with increasing preferences for well-known branded produce, large retailers, and e-commerce. To cope with marketing shifts and develop eco-friendly farming, marketing strategies should be properly prepared on the basis of consumption trends, purchase patterns, and the specific needs which is interlinked sectors of productions, distributions, and general process of consumption. The key factors for stimulating the demand for EFAPs are outlined as follows : classification of buyers(segmentation of markets), provision of more information and safety assurance, labeling of brands and reference prices, shopping convenience for consumers and more appropriate pricing. In order to motivate consumers to buy more EFAPs, the products' safety should be verified and they should be made to sell at specialty store such as Chorokmaul, It is necessary that government, producers, consumers, and distributors play their respective roles in developing feasible programs for marketing EFAPs. Consequently, the specialty store will greatly contribute to the development of domestic environmentally-friendly farming and to raising their standings and prospects as well.

온라인과 오프라인에서 의류 상품 색상감성평가가 상품에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 -흰색 티셔츠를 중심으로- (Effect of Color Sensibility Evaluation of Clothing Product on Attitude toward Product in On-line and Off-line -Focusing on White T-Shirt-)

  • Purpose of this study is to explore: 1) the difference in color sensibility evaluation, color attractiveness, and attitude toward the product, 2) the difference in the effect of color sensibility evaluation on color attractiveness, and 3) the difference in the effect of color sensibility evaluation on attitude toward the product between the identical clothing product presented in on-line and off-line settings. Experimental method was applied with 230 male and female university students using stimuli of an on-line site as well as an off-line window display presenting the same white t-shirts. Color sensibility factors of white t-shirt were hedonic, stimulating, active, and spatial senses. These color sensibility factors of the clothing product affected product color attractiveness as well as attitude toward the product. Although there were not differences in color sensibility evaluation, product attractiveness, and attitude toward the product between items presented in on-line and off-line settings, difference was found in the effect of color sensibility on the color attractiveness and attitude toward the product. The effect of color sensibility on color attractiveness and attitude toward the product was stronger in on-line than in off-line setting. Hedonic sense was the most important factor influencing attractiveness of product color and attitude toward the product. In addition, spatial sense affected attractiveness of product color in on-line setting; and stimulating sense impacted attitude toward the product in off-line setting. Based on the results implications were generated.

예술 지능에 기반한 호텔 객실의 디자인 사례 분석 - 은신처와 감각을 활용한 생명감 체험을 중심으로 - (Design Case Analysis of Hotel Room Based on Artistic Quotient - Focused on the Experience of Livability Using Refuge and Sense -)

  • The study is aimed to analyze cases of hotel room designs based on the 'Art Quotient'. It is focused on design elements of livability, analyzing the space design in terms of biophilic design and experiential marketing. This paper proposes a direction for hotel design based on the analysis result. The scope of the study includes the cases of 17 hotels in the area of Seoul achieving five stars in Korea. This paper presents an analysis whether the room space of hotels provide a user-oriented life experience from the perspective of biophilic design and experiential marketing. In this study, we focused on the concept of 'refuge', one of the biophilic design elements that express the value of life sense, and the element of 'sense', one of the strategic experiential modules of experiential marketing. After analyzing the hotel case studies, the space was evaluated using five factors of art quotient as a design method to provide a life experience in the hotel room. Analysis of the design space from the viewpoint of refuge, rather than architectural elements, proved that decorative elements appeared most commonly in all hotel rooms. Further, through an analysis based on the measures of 'sense', an experiential element, visual elements were mostly enforced in among the elements of the five senses. In other words, when designing a hotel room space, visual elements such as color, pattern, furniture, lighting and style are mainly utilized. Examining the analysis of the design elements from the point of view of the art quotient, the rooms of all the hotel's suite types include elements of 'communication'. Most of the hotel rooms focused on stimulating the aesthetic sensibility of customers. This resulted in the elements of 'immersion' showing poor results. In conclusion, it is necessary to provide the five senses of the arts index in a balanced manner to provide a life experience through the five senses.

중소기업의 윤리적 특성요인과 기업경쟁력 간의 관계 (Correlation between Ethical Factors and Their Competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 중소기업의 기업윤리가 중요함을 인식하고 기업윤리의 이론적 접근과 이들의 윤리적 요인을 파악하여 윤리적 특성요인들과 기업의 경쟁력간의 관계와 영향을 연구 하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 실증연구를 위한 모집단은 서울 및 수도권 지역의 벤처빌딩에 입주한 5인 이상 규모의 국내 중소업체이며 134부의 설문을 표본으로 하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 고객과 사회적 책임은 조직신뢰에 유의적으로 검증되었고 둘째, 경영자 가치관도 조직신뢰에 유의적으로 검증되었으나 셋째, 도덕적 역량은 조직신뢰에 유의적이지 않은 결과로 나타났다. 넷째, 조직 신뢰는 제품경쟁력과 가격경쟁력에 유의적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 제언을 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째 고객과 사회에 대해 사명감을 가지고 조직적이고 체계적인 가치를 제공하여야한다. 이를 위해 고객과 사회의 요구를 분석하여 기업경영에 반영하고 긴밀한 관계형성, 신뢰감을 주는 마케팅활동 및 기업이미지 향상 노력을 통해 구성원들이 자긍심을 가질 수 있도록 상호연관효과가 이루어져야 하며 둘째, 경영자들은 높은 수준의 윤리의식을 가지고 윤리적인 리더십에 의한 솔선수범을 실현하여야 한다. 셋째 조직신뢰를 높이기 위해 윤리적인 요소들에 대한 신뢰를 높여야한다. 이를 위해 내, 외부고객을 포함한 관계 네트워크에 대한 윤리적 수준을 높여 조직에 대한 신뢰를 높이고 이를 통해 구성원의 사기진작과 기업에 대한 공헌도를 높여 궁극적으로 기업경쟁력을 높여야 한다.

  • 온라인 커뮤니티에 대한 연구는 학자들과 실무자들의 많은 관심을 받아온 분야이다. 과거 많은 연구자들이 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 큰 상업적 성과를 거둘 수 있다고 했지만 현실은 그렇지 못하며, 마케팅 연구 분야에서도 상업적 성공을 이끄는 변수들에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지지 못한 것이 사실이다. 이러한 점에서 본 연구는 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트들이 콘텐츠 관련 마케팅 노력을 통해 소비자들의 자아일치성을 높이고, 긍정적 체험을 유도하면서 커뮤니티 사이트 내에서 소비자 간 상호작용성 등을 높여 결국, 커뮤니티 사이트의 방문충성도 및 구매충성도를 실현시킬 수 있는 프레임 웍을 제시하였다. 연구결과 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트에서 소비자 간 상호작용성이 방문충성도 그리고 특히 구매충성도의 구축에 매우 중요한 요인으로 밝혀졌고, 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트에 대한 자아일치성 지각 및 긍정적인 소비자 체험 또한 소비자의 상호작용성, 방문충성도 그리고 커뮤니티에 대한 애정에 상당히 중요한 요인임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 이러한 매개변수에 주된 영향요소로서 콘텐츠 우수성, 사이트 생동감, 네비게이션용이성, 고객화 등의 콘텐츠 관련 마케팅 노력의 역할의 중요성을 강조하였다.

국제프랜차이징 연구요소 및 연구방향 (Research Framework for International Franchising)

  • 본 연구는 국내외 프랜차이즈의 해외진출에 대한 연구들을 바탕으로 국제프랜차이징연구의 전체적인 연구체계를 세워보고, 연구체계를 형성하고 있는 연구요인들을 확인하여 각 연구요소별로 이루어지는 연구주제와 내용을 살펴보고, 앞으로의 연구주제들을 제안하고자 한다. 주요한 연구요소들은 국제프랜차이징의 동기 및 환경 요소과 진출의사결정, 국제프랜차이징의 진입양식 및 발전전략, 국제프랜차이징의 운영전략 및 국제프랜차이징의 성과이다. 이외에도 국제프랜차이징 연구에 적용할 수 있는 대리인이론, 자원기반이론, 거래비용이론, 조직학습이론 및 해외진출이론들을 설명하였다. 또한 국제프랜차이징연구에서 보다 중점적으로 개발해야 할 질적, 양적 방법론을 소개하였으며, 마지막으로 국내연구의 동향을 정리하여 추후의 연구방향을 종합적으로 정리하였다.
