  • Accompanied by Chinese strong economic growth rates and development of demand for the construction industry, Chinese construction industry has already become one of the largest construction markets in the world. Unfortunately, the frequent occurrence of safety incidents on Chinese construction sites is a large obstacle for other countries construction companies seeking to enter the Chinese construction market. This study aims to analyze and compare the safety awareness of Chinese and Korean construction workers. Our research showed that the safety awareness of Korean construction workers is far higher than that of their Chinese counterparts, particularly in terms of the efficiency of safety education and the observance of safety rules. The development of a safety management plan based on these results will contribute to reducing the frequency of accidents on Chinese construction sites.

  • KARI LSWT(Korea Aerospace Research Institute Low Speed Wind Tunnel) has accumulated close to 20 years of know-how since its completion in 1998 and is trying to commercialize related technologies. As part of this research, KARI LSWT is studying design of vertical wind tunnel equipped with a skydiving simulator. KARI carries out concept design together with high performance/low noise design and is to transfer the related technology to a domestic producible company to increase commercialization possibility. In addition, KARI is seeking cooperation with related organizations in China to enter Chinese market.

  • Variability factors of transship cargo in the container transportation market analysis short term factors. In the past, studies on the factor of variability in container cargo volume have focused on long term volume forecast and increase in investment and competitiveness from strategic perspectives. Unlike previous studies, this paper analyzes factors of variability in transshipment volume rapidly varying in short term and seeks measures. Since it was identified that transshipment volume depends on vessel operation cost and port volume in long term but effectively on special strategies launched by port authorities in short term, the port authority experienced rapid drop in volume should continue to observe strategies of competition ports and to make use of strategies seeking appropriate countermeasures.

  • Until now, Many papers were written by graduate school students and consultents about railway station as main consideration. But there is no paper about specific private-invested station development. So in this paper, Just consider limiting Dong-Incheon private-invested station on a noncompetitive point of view that also constructed as a part of railway station development. This paper will be referenced of private-invested station management and direction of development in Korail railway station development. Private-invested station development is actively drived to now after Seoul private-invested station in 1989 as Korail's first induced private capital. Dong-Incheon private-invested station also built in 1989 and operated to now, but it can't keep up with current market and can't meet changeable commercial business. • In this paper, we propose an agent negotiation algorithm of an intelligent agent system for an active and adaptive multimedia data services in the distributed environment. We describe theEARTS-II system that performs automatic job seeking and job offering operations using intelligentagents without user's intervention. EARTS-II offers best candidate lists as the results to usersthrough negotiation among agents considering conditions given by the users. And according to theresults, the EARTS-II supports real processes of employment, The negotiation algorithm tries tosatisfy all agents in the job market. To test the performance of the algorithm, simulation results arepresented.

  • Logistics companies want to be competitive companies in fierce logistics market and are worrying about securing of differentiated competitiveness for it. The standards judging if logistics industry maintains the competitiveness are based on the satisfaction of users due to the well-established service system that can response not only economic feasibility of logistics costs such as transportation costs, storage costs, unloading charges, information costs, etc. but also diversity and upgradability of logistics needs. Therefore, this study focuses on seeking of service quality improvements with VBSD(Value Based Service Design) model focusing on customer value factors based on Kano model and QFD based service design approach from angles of customer value improvement and service costs reduction.

  • In a situation where applications determine business competitiveness, they cannot respond to varying customer requirements without the cloud's flexibility and scalability. Companies have begun seeking ways to enjoy the advantages of the cloud fully, and the concept of "Cloud Native" is emerging as a solution to the problem. Cloud Native is now a target of interest in the market. Microservice and serverless functions can play a vital role in cloud-native architecture. Microservice arranges applications into various independent services, each offering certain functionality through mutual networking. eBPF is attracting attention as a cloud-native networking solution that quickly supports microservice features that repeat creation/deletion. This study identifies the characteristics of eBPF-based networking and evaluates cloud-native networking and secure networking using eBPF.

Results show that it was classified into three clusters from factor-cluster analysis, The first cluster was 'negative participation type', and the overall pursuing benefit factor was low. The second cluster was 'complex pursuit type', and all the pursuing benefit factors were higher than the average. The third cluster was 'experience-seeking type', and the benefits of pursuing rural experiences, special experiences, and intimacy were high. Each cluster showed differences in educational background, age, residential area, type of visit, awareness, satisfaction, and behavioral intention of rural tourism villages.

  • Portable navigation markets grew up to 95% last year. This study aims to develop a business model for pedestrian-oriented portable navigator for street shoppers. Related previous studies developed successfully the alogrithm for a portable navigator, and the current study seeks for diverse ways to turn this system into a new type of on & off line-based LBS business. The business model proposed in this study adopted two different approaches of benefit yields based on the structural analysis of so-called Wanavi navigation system. One is segmented approach seeking for benefits from each individual system component such as communication network, contents, and platform. The other approach is to run the business by integrating relevant system componts in every possible way to attract customers to this portable navigator. The purpose of this proposal is not limited to activate emerging walking navigator markets, but to aim at creating idealistic free market system where all the shoppers are furnished complete market information to the fullest extent when they go on shopping.

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate the formation and the change of apparel retail structure historically with the viewpoint that the retail structure is affected by the process of economic development. This study was done by literature research method and the result of this study is the following. The tailor and seamstress shops, the first clothing shops in Korea, were replaced by ready-made shops, because mass production system which had developed with the industrialization of Korea increased the advantage of economy of scale compared to handicrafts individual one. After that, the production system of apparel industry had been efficient continuously, while retail system had not. The retailing of famous brand apparel conducted by exclusive franchise store caused supplier oriented markets where the opinion and the desire of consumers were not reflected. While the retailing of the unknown brand apparel handled by small retail stores were inefficient. As the apparel industry matured in 1990s, various types of new stores appeared such as specialty stores, discount stores, TV home shopping, internet shopping, outlet malls, and big fashion stores in Dongdeamoon. These new stores have features of seeking profits in mass merchandising. As these large retail stores grow, the apparel retail structure of Korea is changing from a fragmented market to a vertically integrated one. This change is shown by the decrease of stores per inhabitants. With the change of environment, the apparel retail system which has lagged behind comparatively is expected to develop into more efficient system based on the large capital investment which raise the advantage of economy of scale.
