Eight dimensions of quality suggested by Garvin are well-known. It can serve as a framework for strategic analysis to obtain leverage of quality in a competitive market. However, some practically important dimensions such as usability, cost, etc. are not included in the Garvin's. Based on a survey of newly introduced products, we suggest another framework for dimensions of quality: function, time, limitation, usability, problem prevention, economy, maintainability, nativeness, These dimensions are explained with examles.

Facing the globalization of world economy, intense market competition, radical change of information technology, firms are obliged to create a new type of organizations characterized by flexibility and adaptability to new and dynamic environments. This paper reviews the theories of complexity in physics briefly and discusses the implications of them on the management of business organizations. It analogizes the core concepts from complexity theories such as cooperative phenomena, self-organization, adaptation, positive feedback, and butterfly effect, and attempts to identify their implications on business management. Particularly, it suggests principles of 'Fractal' management which apply the fractal structure to the business organization.

In this study we propose a technology selection model, which captures technology seeds for new business area by a fuzzy structural modeling method and then, design a model, which evaluates the validity of New Business Development plans for the selected technology seeds with regard to the properties of manufacturing, product, market, and economy as well. Finally, a fuzzy inference system is designed in order to decide the degree of success of New Business Development plans based on the preceding validity evaluation.

Korean construction companies are recently facing stiff competition in free market economy, and construction projects tend to be complex and large-scale. Such an environment demands that construction companies ensure specialized subcontractors. This paper suggested a subcontractor evaluation model for selection of competent subcontractors which are equipped with operational, technical and productive ability. For designing a subcontractor model, AHP method as a group decision-marking method is applied in assigning weighting indices of evaluation elements. To verify this method, actual data collected in one of construction companies are analysed statistically.

The objective of this study were to determine new air conditioning's selling possibility and discriminate it's market in Pusan and Daegu. The data were collected by using questionnaire. On the basis of the findings. These are follwing conclusions : Come to think of using rates of air conditioning. Function of air conditioning in house is not satisfied nowadays. Residents prefer it's function of cooling plus heating to only cooling in order to use a air conditioning in winter and the turning point of the season. And the air conditioning should be furnished economy, environment, convenience, amenity, safety.

국내에 수요자원 거래시장은 개설이 되었지만 아직까지 여러 목적에 맞는 최적 입찰전략에 대해서는 논의된 바가 많지 않다. 본 논문에서는 수요자원 중에서도 특히 산업용 수용가 ESS(Energy Storage System)에 대해서 경제성 DR(Demand Response) 시장에 참여 할 때 최대의 이익의 얻을 수 있는 입찰전략을 제시하였다. 그리고 이익 뿐만 아니라 유찰 위험까지 고려할 수 있는 현대 포트폴리오 이론을 적용한 입찰전략을 제시하였다.

Global competition of automotive market, affordable prices of electronic components, and tougher regulations on emission, fuel economy, and safety become the major reason that automotive industries rapidly employ a large number of electric and electronic systems. Considering that the application of electronic technologies for automobile is increasing at a rapid rate, it would be worthwhile to evaluate the trend of the uses of major electric and electronic systems for the 21st century vehicle. The major technology will be leaded by 32/64-bit microcontroller, on-chip flash memory, hybrid ASICs, IGBT, and smart sensors.

Venture industry is becoming a driving force of Korean economy in the digital age of the 21 st century. The success of venture business depends on innovative technology, capital investment, and optimal environment providing industrial flexibility. Although venture business is starting to settle down in Korea, many barriers and challenges still remain. The current study analyzes the present status of venture business including fashion business and issues concerning the venture fund raising and provides prospective views to promote and improve venture industry in Korea.

The Arab Automotive Company was the first corporation in Saudi Arabia and was founded in 1928. Since then, the number of Saudi corporations had increased. In 1985, Tadawul (The Saudi Stock Exchange ) was instituted under the supervision of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) and the base value of the index was 1000. This decision came as a response to accelerated growth in the number of Saudi corporations which had increased during the 1970s as the Saudi's economy developed.

General state of research in fundamentals and applied areas of tribology is analysed with taldng account of changes in structure of funding and other aspects of transfer from centmllzed state economy to market one under simultaneous effect of USSR disintegration to independent states. Belarus Tribology Society as a coordinating body is presented. Activities of the major centers of research in friction, wear and lubrication are shown. Recent advances in development of analytical and calculation methods, surface characterization, wear testing and standardization, condition monitoring and tribomaterials are considered.
