It Is indispensible to cause vibration, noise and dust to blasting and breaker operations. Since the control of these factors is supposed to be extremely difficult, the claim of compensation for material and mental damages are getting increased. Economically feasible blasting operation with controlling vibration and noise can be achieved by establishment of science-based plan, accurate operation and responsible inspection, and the application of efficient management system. It must also be remarked that the relevant applied without prejudice by the operator, and the law and regulation should be applied without prejudice by the authority concerned. In addition, the public claim against operators should be investigated in detail and the prosecution should be made under the careful onside-ration of scientific and reasonable conception. Finally, it is strongly suggested that the operations, public and authorities should make great efforts to develop higher technology in order to expand our construction market, to overseas.

수요반응제도는 계통운영자(System Operator) 또는 전기판매사업자가 전력수급 불균형으로 인한 전력계통 비상상황 또는 도매 전력시장가격의 급등 시 위험을 회피하기 위한 유용한 도구이다. 본 논문에서는 계통운영자인 전력거래소가 운영 중인 비용평가 기반의 현 CBP 시장에 부하를 감축할 수 있는 수요자원이 새로이 참여하게 될 경우를 가정 현 가격결정 프로그램 시뮬레이션을 통해 전력공급비용 측면과 판매사업자 구입비용 측면에서의 그 경제적인 가치를 각각 유추하였다.

This paper introduces a feasibility evaluation method for prognosis systems based on an empirical model in nuclear power plants. By exploiting the dynamical signature characterized by abnormal phenomena, the prognosis technique can be applied to detect the plant abnormal states prior to an unexpected plant trip. Early $operator^{\circ}{\emptyset}s$ awareness can extend available time for operation action; therefore, unexpected plant trip and time-consuming maintenance can be reduced. For the practical application in nuclear power plant, it is important not only to enhance the advantages of prognosis systems, but also to quantify the negative impact in prognosis, e.g., uncertainty. In order to apply these prognosis systems to real nuclear power plants, it is necessary to conduct a feasibility evaluation; the evaluation consists of 4 steps (: the development of an evaluation method, the development of selection criteria for the abnormal state, acquisition and signal processing, and an evaluation experiment). In this paper, we introduce the feasibility evaluation method and propose further study points for applying prognosis systems from KHNP's experiences in testing some prognosis technologies available in the market.

The industrial operation is one of the three basic modes of shipping operation with liner and Tramp operations. Industrial operators usually control vessels of their own or on a time charter to minimize the cost of shipping their cargoes. Such operations abound in shipping of bulk commodities, such as oil, chemicals and ores. This work is concerned with an operational optimization analysis of the fleet owned by a major oil company. a typical industrial operator. The operational optimization problem of the fleet of a major oil company is divided Into two phase problem. The front end corresponds to the optimization problem of the transportation of crude oil. product mix. and the distribution of product oil to comply with the demand of the market. The back end tackles the scheduling optimization problem of the fleet to meet the seaborne transportation demand derived from the front end. A case study reflecting the practices of an international major oil company is demonstrated to make clear the underlying ideas.

Focusing on the rapid market penetration of smart phones, the importance of LBS (Location Based Service) is drastically increased. However, traditional GPS method has critical weakness caused by limited availability, such as indoor environment. WPS is newly attractive method as a widely applicable positioning method. In WPS, RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indication) data of all Wi-Fi APs (Access Point) are measured and stored into a huge database. The stored RSSI data in database make single radio fingerprint map. By the radio fingerprint map, we can estimate the actual position of target point. The essential factor of radio fingerprint database is data integrity of RSSI. Because of millions of APs in urban area, RSSI measurement data are seriously contaminated. Therefore, we present the unified filtering method for RSSI measurement data. As the results of filtering, we can show the effectiveness of suggested method in practical positioning system of mobile operator.

Fixed-mobile convergence services can be defined as the combination of previously separate fixed and mobile services, and networks and commercial practices. Examples of fixed-mobile convergence services include single voice-mail box, single number and unified messaging across fixed and mobile networks. Recently as more voice is transferred to mobile networks, convergence services between fixed and mobile become more important. In Korea convergence services are only starting to become established, and are likely to become an important part of any operator's offering. In this paper, we search the different levels of fixed-mobile convergence services and the trends and regulations for fixed-mobile convergence services in major countries. And at the same time, we also suggest the corresponding Marketing strategies by operators related to fixed-mobile convergence services.

Recently, Electronic commerce market is growing sharply for the expansion of internet and development of means of air transportation. Import Clearance System for express consignments, introduced in Korea, confers some benefit upon express consignments, ie. prompt clearance, simplification of the clearance procedure, exemption of necessary documents. But it has some problems such as lack of social security and trade compliance. So it requires some improvements as follows. Firstly, it has no legal background to clear all articles valued at US$100 or less carried by an express consignment operator. So customs brokers, not express consignment operators, should clear that articles. Secondly, it should be presented necessary documents including commercial invoice to prevent a wrong price declaration in entering express consignments valued at US$100 or less. Thirdly, X-ray inspectors must enhance their inspection ability. Customs must provide education programs for X-ray inspectors to improve their inspection ability. Lastly, Cargo selectivity system for express consignments have to be improved to operate effectively.

The convergence of fixed and wireless networks in data communication is providing the necessary driver for M2M commerce to take-off. The opportunities provided by M2M Commerce areonly limited by imagination. Automotive Fleet and Freight, Tolling, Water and Power Metering, Supply Chain Management including Asset Management, Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics, Energy Management and Access Control and Security are among the many M2M applications that are currently getting rolled out. ARC Group expects the worldwide solutions market to be worth in excess of US$ 100 billion by 2007. In addition, operator revenues worldwide from the transport of Telematics data alone will rise from US$ 3.5 billion in 2002 to US$ 78 billion by 2007. This paper discusses some of the lifestyle and business opportunities provided by M2M Commerce in the new ear of network convergence. It also provides some case studies to demonstrate the benefits of M2M Commerce across the supply chain. The key focus of the paper is on achieving enhanced lifestyle, cost reduction, improved profitability and enhanced customer relationship management through M2M Commerce.

Mobile financial services with incorporated into IT are actively introduced and being operated worldwide. Meanwhile, a relationship setting of industrial capital and financial capital has a close connection with development process of the financial markets and the economic development. If the relationship setting of industrial capital and financial capital are right, it will be good opportunity to ensure economic development, positive economic effect and global competitiveness of the financial industry as other developed countries. In order to expand the positive effects of these mobile financial services, a ICT companies, etc. should ease regulations to allow entry to the mobile financial services market. That is, the separation of banking and commerce should be abolished.

This paper presents accurate and efficient numerical methods for calculating the sensitivities of two-asset European options, the Greeks. The Greeks are important financial instruments in management of economic value at risk due to changing market conditions. The option pricing model is based on the Black-Scholes partial differential equation. The model is discretized by using a finite difference method and resulting discrete equations are solved by means of an operator splitting method. For Delta, Gamma, and Theta, we investigate the effect of high-order discretizations. For Rho and Vega, we develop an accurate and robust automatic algorithm for finding an optimal value. A cash-or-nothing option is taken to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm for calculating the Greeks. The results show that the new treatment gives automatic and robust calculations for the Greeks.
