The waterproofing system's performance is known to show a determing by complex interaction of material factors, design details, and the quality of construction, and the waterproofing integrity of waterproofing membranes is determined by the bond to the deck and the amount of damage to the waterproofing membrane. In this research, the basic properties of waterproofing membranes on market and the tensile adhesive chracteristics of waterproofing systems of concrete bridge deck have also been investigated in the view of the damages frequently reported from job site. For the tensile adhesive strength of sheet waterproofing membranes, the results after asphalt concrete paving tends to increase more than before those. The results of the liquid waterproofing membranes are upside-down, and the more concrete has strength, the more strength of tensile adhesive increase. The ambient temperature of asphalt concrete when application of the waterproofing membrane has considerable influence on the performance of waterproofing system. As described above, waterproofing system can be influenced by several factors. If they are not considered under construction, the overlooking will cause the damages of pavement and waterproofing system after traffic opening.

This study analyzed the registration of patent and utility models by fashion firms in Korea. A total of 2,291 registration cases of IPC A41B-H from the period of 1996 to 2009 were collected by KIPRIS of the Korean Intellectual Property Organization (KIPO). All cases were analyzed by year to review the longitudinal trend and 481 cases of IPC A41B (shirts, underwear, baby linen, and handkerchiefs) and 1088 cases of IPC A41D (outerwear, protective garments, and accessories) were analyzed by content (provided benefit type and developing method), by detailed product items and the characteristics of the applicant. The results of this study were as follows: 1) Registration of IPC 41 increased steeply by the year (especially since 2006) and the patent registrations increased more than those in the utility model. 2) Analyzing the application content of A41B on the basis of benefit showed that 75% were to provide new functions and the rest were for health. In terms of the developing method, 83% of benefit provided by the application were by design development, 11.2% were by material, and the rest was by process, In the cases of IPC A41D, 23.6% were for safety and protection. In terms of the developing method, the process and material development were more frequently adopted than in the cases of A41B. 3) The major product types of A41B were socks, underwear, and infant wear, whereas gloves and parts of clothing were major items in A41D. 4) In terms of the characteristics of the applicant, registration by firms was greater for patents than for utility models and registration by foreigners increased in 2006 due to the complete opening of the retail market. 5) Fifteen universities registered for a total 57 cases and major applications were for IT related clothing or high-tech protective items.

The business is faced with the situation must improve a power in an increasingly competitive environment due to the recent rapid advance in information technology and the opening and expansion of global market, fast technological change, and various customer demand. The rapid change in information technology is having an effect on not only all the processes to develop products, but information contents that is provided for the purpose of customer value, and the appearance of products. In other words, the information technology is being recognized as a very important factor among other factors for companies to enhance their competitiveness. In addition, it is more efficient to focus on key factor to maintain the competitive advantage on the using of information technology by outsourcing information systems, rather than by operating the systems under their own. Since the global financial crisis, the long-term recession has been increasing companies who is ready to adopt outsourcing or adopted already. This study is to understand the environment and unique characteristics of outsourcing services and related industries focusing on information system operation and management in information outsourcing services, and is to set the concept needed through my theory that is connected to the service quality and customer satisfaction. A lot of business wiew the improvement of service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction as the major factors of business growth, and lots of ongoing studies have focused on service management in the Information outsourcing service industry. Yet few studies have ever concentrated on the quality of information system operation management service. This study, moreover, is to define the quality of service related with customer satisfaction from customer's viewpoint, measuring effects on customer satisfaction. The quality of outsourcing service on information system in this study is a great help to companies who are offering information outsourcing service, and company's managers and staffs who outsourcedto specialized company.

The objective of this study was to review how contract farming started in Gochang-gun and identified its characteristics among the contracting parties and the consequent changes in the region's dairy industry with regard to the contract production of organic milk in Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do, Korea in conjunction with the Maeil Dairy Industry Corporation. The contract was established in keeping with the product diversification strategy of the company after a crisis due to opening of the market, taking advantage of the clean environment of Gochang-gun and positive attitudes of the local government and dairy farmers. The expansion of the participating farms led to a production gap among dairy farms in the region; however, the overall concern over the conventional practice of contract farming was mitigated as the organic farming spread with the conversion of the contract farms to organic farms.

Todays our private universities have been facing with serious survival competition according to the opening of education market, the diminishment of college voluntarists and the increase of education supply. In coming the beginning of the year of 2000, though the equal formula. 'The fixed number of students of universities = The number of graduates of high schools' will he formed, even though the tendency of the fixed number of students of universities is maintained as it is, and it has been expected the unlimited competition would be unvaoidable, so private universities and private junior colleges which are weak in financial power are roaring the crisis consciousness that they may have to close doors before making every effort. Based on such presentation of problem as its study object, the range of study is limitted to the educational financial portion related to higher education field. Especially, the financial portion of private universities of higher educational field is discussed in priority. Besides, the present status of financial condition of our universities was portionally compared with that of in the advanced nations. It is true that pursuing the academic superiority of university education in our country, and attaining object of university as well as developing reflection in future should stand side by side. Therefore, payment of fee, supporting subsidy, etc. is attached too much importance to the financial problem. In our country, the financial allotment is attached too much importance to national universities. This is against the principle of equity to the tax payers, and equality of opportunity, so the level of supporting national funds should be upward formed and supported from 1.0% to higher than 20%. In conclusion, our private universities should adopt as many alternatives of rationalization of finance as possible, such as securing lots of funds and subsidies, and rationalized management of finance, and ensuring finance according to the increasing number of students after university specialization, etc.

With suffering financial crisis in 1997, Korea's fashion market has grown in the direction that satisfies the reasonable price and diverse consumer's sensitivity and needs. The aim of this study is to examine whether the cutting portion in the waist line is surely necessary for designing the jacket pattern in men's wear, by closely examining the effects of the cutting portion in the waist line on the external appearance and functionality given designing the jacket pattern in men's wear for the standard body type in 20s. The results of the study are as follows. As a result of evaluating the external appearance, when having evaluated by dividing into 14 items such as the whole surface, the side, and the back side, the experimental clothing, which wasn't cut the waist line, obtained the highest mark in 13 items and, the significant difference was indicated in 10 items except 4 items. As a result of evaluating performance, the experimental clothing, which wasn't cut the waist line, obtained the highest mark in 13 items among 25 items in the total. Next, the cutting portion in the waist line obtained the highest mark in 10 items for the experimental clothing with opening in 1.0cm. The next was indicated to be in order of the experimental clothing with 1.5cm and the experimental clothing with 0.5cm. Given seeing the above result, the cutting portion in the waist line given designing the jacket pattern for the standard body type in 20s could be known that the experimental clothing with the most excellent mark in the evaluation of performance was all the experimental clothing with 0.0cm whose waist line wasn't cut.

This paper assesses the tariff reduction on imported wood products that will have impact on the demand for domestic wood products in South Korea, by estimating the Armington substitution elasticities based on the assumption that they are imperfect substitutes. Results indicate that domestic and foreign wood products are far from perfect substitutes to each other. The substitution elasticities in plywood and fiberboard appeared to be high, implying that tariff reduction may have negative effects on those industries. On the contrary, imported and domestic particleboard showed a low substitution elasticity. The decline of fiberboard industry may lead to the decline in forestry since fiberboard is produced mainly by thinned woods supplied from domestic forests. Therefore, effective countermeasures to enhance the competitiveness of wood products industry are needed to cope with the market opening.

Exemplary contracts of construction management (CM) including highway projects have been carried out in the civil engineering area over the past ten years. However, practical and administrative challenges as transitional circumstances have been revealed in the different participants of supervision, inspection and construction management. Thus, it is important to internally overcome problems and negative perception encountered in civil engineering, and to promote the efficiencies in construction cost and quality. In addition, external efforts should be put to market opening, globalization, and technology development for competitiveness and high value industry. While it is critical to establish the concrete CM system by collaborating with various participants, proven architecture and system have not been provided because of incorrect measurement of CM accomplishment, overlap of responsibility between CM and supervision, and slow deployment in construction field. This paper analyzed the current CM practices and business environments, and presented the possible solutions for strategy improvement of CM in the owner's view point.
