The purpose of this study was to analyze perceptions to hindering factors and development factors for water leisure activation. In order to accomplish the study purpose, this study employed a survey method with water leisure participants and employees from 6 regions(participants=205, employees=117). The data were analyzed using independent t-tests at a=.05 and following findings were derived from current study. First, among 20 hindering factors, water leisure participants had higher levels of perceptions than employees in licence system, limited activation regulation, departure report regulation, absence of exclusive organization, lack of providing information, lack of participative events and support systems. Second, relatively highly perceived hindering factors included departure report regulation, limited activation regulation, licence system, lack of government support, lack of mooring facility and lack of exclusive charged organization, in order. Third, the important development factors perceived by participants included support for licence and education and diversified water leisure programs but those perceived by employees included placement of educated experts and related event host and publicity. Finally, relatively highly perceived development factors included activation of free experience, promotion of marina development, support for licence and education, diversified programs and support for water leisure business. Accordingly, the findings provided fundamental information that both central and regional government can utilize for further activating water leisure. In addition, several development strategies were discussed on financial support, facility support, human resource support, education support and event support perspectives.
In this study, a gate simulation model was developed to reduce the truck waiting time for trucking companies servicing container terminals. To verify the developed model, 4 weeks of truck gate-in/gate-out data was collected in December 2014 at the Port of Busan New Port. Also, the existing gate system was compared to the proposed gate system using the developed simulation model. The result showed that based on East gate-in, a maximum number of 50 waiting trucks with a maximum waiting time of 120 minutes. With the proposed system the maximum number of waiting trucks was 10 with a maximum waiting time of 5.3 minutes. Based on West gate-in, the maximum number of waiting trucks was 17 and the maximum waiting time was 34 minutes in the existing gate system. With the proposed system the maximum number of waiting trucks was 10 with a maximum waiting time of 5.3 minutes. Based on West gate-out, the maximum number of waiting trucks was 11 with a maximum waiting time of 5.5 minutes. With the proposed system the maximum number of waiting trucks was 9 with a maximum waiting time of 4.4 minutes. This developed model shows how many waiting trucks there are, depending on the gate-in/gate-out time of each truck. This system can be used to find optimal gate system operating standards by assuming and adjusting the gate-in/gate-out time of each truck in different situations.
This study aimed to specify Vessel Traffic System(VTS) operators' situational awareness(SA) tasks and examine differences in subjective ratings for three levels of SA. Data for relative frequencies of SA tasks were collected by using direct in field observation. Subjective rating scores were obtained using a questionnaire method and compared in terms of VTS operator's gender and length of service career. The results are as follows. First, it was found that the VTS operators perform information perception task elements more frequently than those for information integration and prediction. Second, VTS operators tended to show subjectively lower evaluation scores for prediction than information perception or integration. Third, male VTS operators rated their SA ability higher than females. Fourth, the male VTS operators more than 15 years of career service showed higher subjective rating scores than those with under 5 years of service. Female VTS operators with different levels of career service showed a similar level of subjective rating scores. These results suggest that the frequency of SA related tasks and subjective SA evaluation can differ in terms of SA levels and individual differences.
This paper proposes a method to generate a depth image at an arbitrary intermediate view-point, which is targeting a video service for free-view, auto-stereoscopy, holography, etc. It assumes that the leftmost and the rightmost depth images are given and they both have been camera-calibrated and image-rectified. This method calculates and uses a disparity increment per depth value. In this paper, it is obtained by stereo matching for the given two depth image by considering more general cases. The disparity increment is used to find the location in the intermediate view-point depth image (IVPD) for each depth in the given images. Thus, this paper finds two IVPDs, from left image and from right image. Noises are removed and holes are filled in each IVPDs and the two results are combined to get the final IVPD. The proposed method was implemented and applied to several test sequences. The results revealed that the quality of the generated IVPD corresponds to 33.84dB of PSNR in average and it takes about 1 second to generate a HD IVPD. We evaluate that this image quality is quite good by considering the low correspondency among the left images, intermediate images, and the right images in the test sequences. If the execution speed is improved, the proposed method can be a very useful method to generate an IVPD at an arbitrary view-point, we believe.

The temporal and spatial temperature distribution of the heat storage mortar made of porous feldspar was measured and the thermal properties and electricity consumption were analyzed. For the experiment, two real size chambers (control model and test model) with hot water pipes were constructed. Two large scale models with hot water pipes were constructed. The surface temperature change of the heat storage layer was remotely monitored during the heating and cooling process using infrared thermal imaging camera and temperature sensor. The temperature increased from $20^{\circ}C$ to $30^{\circ}C$ under the heating condition. The temperature of the heat storage layer of the test model was $2.0-3.5^{\circ}C$ higher than the control model and the time to reach the target temperature was shortened. As the distance from the hot water pipe increased, the temperature gap increased from $4.0^{\circ}C$ to $4.8^{\circ}C$. The power consumed until the surface temperature of the heat storage layer reached $30^{\circ}C$ was 2.2 times that of the control model. From the heating experiment, the stepwise temperature and electricity consumption were calculated, and the electricity consumption of the heat storage layer of the test model was reduced by 66%. In the cooling experiment, the surface temperature of the heat storage layer of the test model was maintained $2^{\circ}C$ higher than that of the control model. The heat storage effect of the porous feldspar mortar was confirmed by the temperature experiment. With considering that the time to reheat the heat storage layer is extended, the energy efficiency will be increased.

A bacterial strain AE-1-3, isolated from soil and wastewater identified as Pseudomonas strain, removed $NH_4^+\;and\; NO_3^-$ simultaneously in anaerobic cultivation in a medium containing $0.1\%\;NH_4NO_3\;and\;3.0\%$ glucose. The strain removed $NH_4^+\;,\;NO_3^-\;and\;NO_2^-$ completely in 15 days of anaerobic cultivation. Though N03- removed completely, $33\%\;of\;NH_4^+$ remained in 15 day of incubation in $1\%$ glucose and $0.1\%\;NH_4NO_3$ medium. The bacterium could remove $0.1\%\;NH_4NO_3$ completely in a short time by addition of $Cu^{2+},\;Zn^{2+},\;Sn^{2+}\;in\;0.5\%$ glucose medium. By chaning the metal concentration, $0.3\%\;NH_4NO_3$ could be removed completely.
The Purpose of this study was to assess the willingness to pay(WTP) for the new road construction plan(slip road of urban highway which was advertising extensively to reduce the time to the core of metropolitan area) on housing prices using contingent valuation method(CVM). And this study was an empirical study which was based on the consciousness of residents whose apartment was within the Suwon Si's new plan of 47th road construction zone. In this study, it was revealed that the resident's WTP for the plan of new road construction which was built on the neighborhood of apartment was within the 10 percent of housing prices that was similar to the standard declared price of MLTM(Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs). And also revealed that the difference of sale prices of real estate company was 24 percent. The statistical assessment results show that both the resident's characteristic variables such as gender, incomes, size of apartment and the accessability variables such as distance to parks, schools, department stores, living facilities were positive effects on the prices of apartments significantly. Finally, the house has depreciated than that of MLTM and WTO since torpedoed the road construction plan. These results imply that, we have to take capital appreciation of the property into account due to road construction since the accessibility was very significantly positive internal effects on the apartment housing prices.
The behavior of earth retention wall installed in a cut slope is different from the behavior of retention wall applied in an urban excavation. In order to establish the design method of anchored retention wall in the cut slope, the behavior of anchored retention wall needs to be investigated and checked in detail. In this study, the behavior of anchored retention wall was investigated by the instrumentation installed in the cut slope, where was stabilized by a row of piles in an apartment construction site. The horizontal displacement of anchored retention wall was larger than the displacement of slope soil behind the wall at the early stage of excavation. As the excavation depth became deeper, the horizontal displacement of slope soil was larger than the displacement of anchored retention wall. It means that the horizontal displacement of anchored retention wall due to excavation is restrained by soldier pile stiffness and jacking force of anchor at the early stage of excavation. lacking force of anchor was mainly influenced on the horizontal displacement of anchored retention wall. The displacements of anchored retention wall and slope soil were affected mainly by rainfall infiltrated from the ground surface. Meanwhile, the horizontal displacement of anchored retention wall with a sloped backside was about $2\~6$ times larger than the displacement of anchored retention wall with a horizontal backside of excavation.

Following the recommendations made by the cultural authorities the wooden cultural properties (WCP) had been treated with fire-retardants for fire protection. However, visual inspections of some of the WCPs treated with fire-retardants showed microbial decay. The work was extended to examine the micromorphological characteristics of the WCPs in a Buddhist temple which had been treated with fire-retardant. Microscopic examination showed the presence of typical soft rot cavities along the length of microfibrils in the secondary wall. Bacterial attack was also observed by scanning and transmission electron microscopy. It is interesting that the decay patterns observed in the Buddhist temple were very similar to those observed in the waterlogged woods. Presumably chemicals in the fire-retardants used rendered the wood susceptible to attack by soft-rot and bacterial decay by causing an increase in the moisture content of wood. Further studies are needed to investigate the effect of fire-retardants used currently on the hygroscopicity and the strength of wood materials in the WCPs. Microbial attacks caused degradation of the secondary cell walls and in some cases also of the middle lamella. In addition, the cell walls in the outer parts of wood were also degraded due to weathering, and cell separation occurred from total disintegration of the middle lamella.
A basic study for the development of a disk type oil skimmer for a tank lorry, compares via experiments to the oil recovery differences by material between the existing oil skimmer disk and several discs which oil adhesion are possible. The experiment results in this study are summarized as follows: In all the disks, the mass of recovery of bunker-A oil was greater than light oil. In light oil, there was nearly no differences in the mass of oil recovery by disk material, but in the case of bunker A oil, recovery efficiency showed big differences depending on the disk materials. For light oil, the differences in the mass of oil recovery per unit of operation time from the initial time zone were hardly shown. However, the mass of recovery of bunker-A oil linearly increased from the initial operation time in all the disks and the increase shaped a slow moving trend as time went on; therefore, the mass of oil recovery per unit of operation time showed differences depending on time. This result shows that oil viscosity has an effect on the disk recovery efficiency. When comparing the mass of pure oil recovery and the mass of water recovery in the total mass of recovery by bunker-A oil, there was no difference in the mass of oil recovery between the window-aluminum material disk and the disks consisting of other materials, but the mass of water recovery of the former was relatively very small. This shows the most ideal result in view of oil recovery efficiency that considers the mass of water recovery. In conclusion, it was found that aluminum is the most advantageous as the material for tank lorry oil skimmer disk.
