The purpose of this study is to analyze the preference of haircut according to demographic factors such as age, education, marital status, occupation, monthly income, and residence in order to contribute to the establishment of hair trends of Korean women living in the 4th industrial age. Respectively. After the questionnaire was distributed, 305 questionnaires were analyzed statistically. According to the results of the questionnaire survey, it was found that the higher the age group was, the higher the gradation pattern was, and the difference was statistically different according to the demographic characteristics (p<0.05). By analyzing the shapes and differences of female haircuts according to these demographic characteristics, we will contribute to the establishment of sophisticated and innovative hair trends of Korean women living in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. Through this study, we can find the most ideal hairstyle for Korean women and it will be a starting point for development of various new and creative hairstyles. It is also used as basic data for hairdressing education and it will be actively used as an objective index that can express women 's personality clearly.

This study aimed to assess the level of awareness on safe abortion among adolescent girls in rural area of Mahottari district of Nepal. A community based cross-sectional study was conducted in rural areas of Mahottari district of Southern Nepal between January and March 2019.A sample of 412 adolescent girls was selected using multi-stage cluster sampling. Multivariable logistic regression model was adapted to explore level of awareness among adolescent girls. This study found that 45.6% of adolescent girls had high awareness regarding safe abortion. The odds of awareness among the married adolescents was higher (AOR=2.16; 95% CI: 1.01-4.87) than unmarried adolescent whereas the odds of awareness among the adolescents who had education of secondary level and more had higher (AOR=2.21; 95%CI: 1.13-3.04) than those who had primary or lower secondary level of education. Similarly, the adolescents who had monthly family income of Nepalese Rupees (NRs.), 10,000-20,000 and more than NRs. 20,000 were respectively, 2.33 times (AOR = 2.33; 95% CI: 1.07-3.55) and 3.17 times (AOR = 3.17; 95% CI: 2.19-8.94) more likelihood to have high awareness regarding safe abortion than those their counterparts. The study showed that overall level of knowledge towards safe abortion was found low. Socio-demographic factors like marital status, level of education, and family income were the factors independently associated with level of awareness on safe abortion. Therefore, efforts should be exerted towards arising and improving the awareness of abortion care which may reduce unwanted pregnancy, abortion and other complications related to abortion.
This study aimed to identify the factors affecting the nursing performance and the convergence relationships of leisure satisfaction, job stress, and nursing performance among nurses. Participants included 150 nurses working at 2 hospitals in C city from August 3 to September 15, 2018. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA with Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression by SPSS 23.0 program. Nursing performance were significantly differences in age (F=4.78, p=.003), marital status (F=2.74, p=.007), length of clinical career (F=3.34, p=.012), and health condition (F=5.23, p=.002). Nursing performance was a positively correlated with leisure satisfaction (r=.32, p<.001) and a negatively correlated with job stress (r=-19, p=.020), and job stress was a negatively correlated with leisure satisfaction (r=-.32, p=.005). The factors affecting the nursing performance of clinical nurses were age (${\beta}=.20$, p=.008) and leisure satisfaction (${\beta}=.28$, p<.001), and these variables explained about 19.6% of the variance in nursing performance. In order to improve nursing performance, it is necessary to provide working environment and institutional support for increasing leisure satisfaction and reducing job stress and age-differentiated approaches.

This descriptive research investigates the knowledge of and attitude toward HIV/AIDS among individuals in their 20s to 40s. This study also analyzes the results of the 2011 and 2013 community health surveys to identify the factors influencing their knowledge and attitude. The study subjects were 20 to 49 years old, and the final analysis included 182,315 subjects. The collected data were analyzed through t-tests, ANOVA, correlational analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The survey results showed a high level of knowledge of HIV/AIDS, with 69.4% correct answers. Most individuals lacked knowledge regarding routes of infection, and those in their 20s had the lowest percentage of correct answers. As for attitude toward HIV/AIDS, 44.3% showed a negative attitude. The scores for knowledge and attitude toward HIV/AIDS were higher among males, unmarried individuals, individuals with a higher income, individuals with a higher level of education, individuals working in agriculture, forestry, or fishery, managers, professions that were not homemakers/unemployed, and professional soldiers. A positive correlation (r=0.27, p<0.001) was observed between knowledge and attitude. The factors influencing AIDS knowledge and attitude were gender, marital status, income level, occupation, and education level. This study confirmed that there is a difference by age group. As such, educational programs customized by age and other characteristics are expected to be more effective in enhancing knowledge and in developing a more positive attitude towards HIV/AIDS.
This study is descriptive research to investigate the effects of COVID-19 stress, interpersonal (caregiver-patient) stress, and emotional labor on burnout in emergency room (ER) nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data collection of this study was conducted from December 9 to 23, 2021 with ER nurses working at five tertiary general hospitals and general hospitals of Medical Center H. The data was collected with a questionnaire using tools measuring the subjects' general & job-related characteristics, COVID-19 stress, interpersonal(caregiver-patient) stress, emotional labor and burnout. The collected data was analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 25.0 statistical program for frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The average score of COVID-19 stress in ER nurses was 3.64, interpersonal(caregiver-patient) stress 4.35, emotional labor 3.38, and burnout 3.44. As a result of analyzing differences according to general & job-related characteristics, burnout showed a significant difference according to gender, marital status, total clinical experience, and working organization. And burnout showed a significant positive correlation with COVID-19 stress, interpersonal stress and emotional labor. As a result of multiple linear regression analysis, regional emergency medical centers and local emergency medical centers among the work organization types, interpersonal stress, COVID-19 stress, and gender and the explanatory power was 28.6%. Through these results, we intend to provide basic data for the development of an intervention program to prevent burnout of emergency room nurses and improve nursing performance at the time of a new infectious disease pandemic.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify factors influencing the posttraumatic growth of maritime police officers. Methods: The subjects include 293 maritime police officers that received basic and professional education at the Korea Coast Guard Academy on June 17~July 31, 2019. Data was analyzed in frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, variance analysis, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis with the SPSS Version 21.0 program. Results: The findings show that the maritime police officers scored mean 39.72±16.56 points in posttraumatic growth. marital status(β=.194, p=.002), smoking(β=.152, p=.010), regular exercise(β=-.185, p<.001), total duration of service(β=-.154, p=.033), resilience(β=.310, p<.001), social support (β=.250, p<.001), and collective culture(β=.158, p=.004) had impacts on their posttraumatic growth. Conclusion: The findings of the study demonstrate that the posttraumatic growth of maritime police officers was under the influence of supports from families and peers, working environment, and culture as well as their individual characteristics.

This study is a descriptive research study to determine the effect of job stress and job satisfaction of 119 paramedics on their job performance ability. The subjects were 119 paramedics working at the fire department who agreed to participate in the study, and data collection was conducted from July 1st to September 10th, 2020. Data analysis was performed using the SPSS 23.0 program, with frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, correlation analysis, t-test, and ANOVA. As a result, the average job stress, job satisfaction, and job performance ability of 119 paramedics were 2.85±0.29 points, 3.35±0.30 points, and 3.53±0.89, respectively. A higher job satisfaction indicated higher job performance ability. An examination of the characteristics of the variables according to the general characteristics showed that the job performance ability was related significantly to the marital status, age, and first aid experience. Based on this, to establish a positive professional intuition to increase the job performance ability of 119 paramedics, lower job stress, and increases job satisfaction, it is important to raise awareness of job satisfaction, establish a job view, and promote job satisfaction through performance improvement. Sodium intake has been associated with the health-related quality of life (HRQoL). This study examined the demographic factors related to HRQoL and whether there is an association between sodium intake and HRQoL in adults residing in rural areas. A total of 1,980 adults (aged ≥20 years) were selected from a cross-sectional study conducted between December 2013 and February 2014 in Gyeongju, South Korea. The sodium intake and HRQoL were measured using a validated food frequency questionnaire and the EuroQol Five-Dimension (EQ-5D) (mobility, self-care, usual activities, pain/discomfort, and anxiety/depression), respectively. The education levels (<5 years) were inversely associated with all five dimensions of HRQoL. Men had better EQ-5D scores for each of the five components examined. Adults living with spouses had better scores related to usual activities and anxiety/depression, whereas widowers had decreased scores of mobility and self-care. Unlike older adults aged 70-79 years, adults aged <60 years were more likely to have greater scores related to mobility, usual activities, and pain/discomfort. The income levels were also inversely related to the scores for self-care, usual activities, pain/discomfort, and anxiety/depression. Sodium intake was positively associated with the HRQoL related to self-care, usual activities, and pain/discomfort, but it was negatively associated with anxiety/depression. In conclusion, these findings suggest that the demographic factors and sodium intake were independently associated with HRQoL. The results highlight the need to provide tailored, targeted policies and interventions that consider personal characteristics and dietary intake to improve the overall HRQoL in adults residing in rural areas.

We surveyed 27 workplaces and 1897 workers and analyzed the correlation between Personal characteristics of workers and Musculoskeletal Symptoms. The presence or absence of Symptoms of Musculoskeletal Disease in workers was based on The Management Target or higher in accordance with the guidelines for The Investigation of Harmful Factors in Musculoskeletal Burdened Work of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. Personal characteristics were divided into age, work load, housework burden, work experience, leisure type, gender, and marital status. In the survey, correlations were investigated through binominal logistic regression analysis for rank variables of work load, household burden, and work experience, and the significance of the results was confirmed by crosstabulation and chi-square analysis for other nominal variables. And in the case of other variables, there was a slight trend, but it was confirmed that it was not statistically significant. As a result, We confirmed that the incidence rate of Musculoskeletal Disease Symptoms increased as the age of the workers was lower, the higher the workload and housework, if they were women, if they did not engage in leisure activities. However, considering that the results of this study are slightly different as a result of comparing the results of other studies, the data of this study can be used as rough indicators for the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders, but additional research is needed before using it as quantitative indicators.
This study investigated the differences in sociodemographic variables, alcoholism recovery, quality of life, empowerment and self-esteem based on different abstinence periods of alcohol use disorder. The study population from seven different regions in nationwide were 207 individuals with alcohol use disorder who had been abstinent. According to previous studies, 207 individuals were classified into different abstinence periods: less than one year, more than one to five years, and more than five years. As a result, the sociodemographic variables affecting differences in groups were gender, age, marital status, and economic activity. In addition, the group that maintained abstinence from alcohol for more than one year showed significant differences in alcoholism recovery, quality of life, empowerment, and self-esteem than those that maintained abstinence from alcohol for less than one year. Regardless of abstinence periods, alcoholism recovery, quality of life, empowerment, and self-esteem showed significant positive correlations. Therefore, the results of this study identified the factors influencing long-term abstinence and effects and suggested the need for alcohol-dependent recovery programs or therapeutic interventions for individuals who abstained from alcohol use.
