DAB수신을 위한 이동체용 위성 안테나 트랙킹 시스템의 성능 개선 (An Improvement of Performance in a Satellite Antenna Tracking Control System for Mobile DAB Reception)

  • This paper presents the development of a satellite antenna tracking control system using a plane antenna for mobile DAB(Digital Audio Broadcasting) reception. To track more rapidly in the antenna of this system, this simple tracking system only tracks a direction of azimuth using pendulum in the direction of elevation. This system should track using the AGC(Automatic Gain Control) of the signal level which can receive DAB in spite of the changing of point and movement of the mobile. The directional gyro sensor is attached to solve the delay time in the Proposed tracking algorithm. The effectiveness of both the stabilization and tracking algorithm is demonstrated through experiment measuring AGC signal level. The implemented satellite antenna tracking control system is shown to be excellent for mobile DAB reception.

갤로핑 측정을 위한 가속도 센서 드리프트 보상 알고리즘 (Drift Compensation Algorithm of Acceleration Sensor for Galloping Measurement System)

  • In this paper, we deal with two drift compensation algorithms of acceleration sensor for measuring the galloping on power transmission line. Firstly, the block diagram of galloping measurement system is given and a galloping model is presented. Secondly, two compensation algorithms, a simple compensation and a period compensation, are proposed. A simple compensation algorithm uses the drifts of velocity and distance at fixed periods, so it is useful for constant drift case. Next, a period compensation algorithm can compensate a periodic drift. This algorithm uses the previous measured data and compensated data for constant period, where the period is obtained by FFT method. Lastly, the effectiveness of proposed algorithms is verified by comparing between two algorithms in simulation, and its characteristics and the drift error bound are shown, respectively.

레이더 송수신기용 X 밴드 주파수 합성기에 관한 연구 (A Study on X-band Frequency Synthesizer for Radar Transceiver)

  • In this paper, a frequency synthesizer for X-band FMCW radars is proposed. Some X-band FMCW radars have been used as a level sensor for tanker ship and the resolution of the level sensor may be mainly depend on linearity of frequency sweep. For a linear frequency sweep. the proposed synthesizer employs a phase-locked loop using prescalars and a high speed digital PLL chip. The measured results show that the linear frequency sweep range is from 10 GHz to 11 GHz and the output power of the synthesizer is minium 7 dBm. and the phase noise is about -80 dBc/Hz at 100 KHz offset from 11 GHz.

  • 무선센서 네트워크 기술은 최근 주목 받고 있는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 핵심 분야로서, 그 활용도가 다양해서 이와 관련된 많은 연구 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 무선 센서 네트워크 기술을 여러 응용 분야에 활용될 수 있는 환경 정보 모니터링 시스템에 적용시켜 보았다. 센서 노드로써 MicaZ와 그 운영체제인 TinyOS를 이용하여 온도, 조도, 습도, 가속도, 그리고 위치 등의 사용자 환경 정보를 탐지하고 처리하는 시스템을 구현하여 사용자가 원하는 환경의 조건을 유지하는데 이용될 수 있도록 하였다.

  • In this paper, we present a magnetic levitation system which has not a gap sensor with sensor-less realization and stabilizing controller design. For measuring gap between magnet and levitated object we propose a gap sensorless method and adop two-degree-of-freedom controller for robust-ness and performence of the magnetic levitation system. From time responeses we confirm that the proposed sensorless method which can be applied to magnetic levitation system. Also the designed stabilizing controller has good disturbance rejection and reference tracking performance.

  • In this paper, the Power Management System(PMS) which based on a decision making system according to power strategy is proposed and implemented. PMS is designed to have functions of power monitoring. controlling, synchronizing load sharing and monitoring of driving engine, etc. PMS consists of the internet communication system(ICS). Remote Management System(RMS) and Sensor Driver System (SDS) ICS transmits the monitoring and supervisory data via Internet to Remote Management System(RMS) in real-time SDS detects various power system data on local generator and utility via I/O interface system. I/O interface system receives various status data and outputs control signals. Implemented PMS is tested with dummy signal to verify proposed functions and shows good results. For future study implemented PMS will be tested under real load condition to merchandize.

  • In order to evaluate the safety of navigation at sea and the safety of mooring ship on berthing, it is necessary that the wave and wind induced ship dynamic motion should be measured in real time domain for the validity of theoretical evaluation method such as sea-keeping performance and safety of mooring. In this paper, the basic design of sensors is discussed and some system configurations were shown. The developed system mainly consists of 4 kinds of sensors such as three dimensional accelerator, two dimensional tilt sensor, two displacement sensors and azimuth sensor. Using the this measuring system, it can be obtained the 6 degrees of freedom of ship dynamic motions at sea and on berthing such as rolling, pitching, yawing, sway, heave, surge under the external forces.

  • A Flapping foil produces an effective angle of attack, resulting in a normal force vector with thrust and lift components, and it can be expected to be a new highly effective propulsion system. A heaving foil model was made and it was operated within a circulating water channel at low Reynolds numbers. The unsteady thrust and lift acting on the heaving foil were measured simultaneously using a 6-axis force sensor based on force and moment detectors. We have been examined various conditions such as heaving frequency and amplitude in NACA 0010 profile. The results showed that thrust coefficient and efficiency increased with reduced frequency and amplitude. We also presented the experimental results on the unsteady fluid forces of a heaving foil at various parameters.

  • This paper presents a fault detection asnd isolation algorithm for highly reliable gantry crane system. The algorithm is constructed by multiple PI observer technique, and the magnitude of actuator fault can be estimated by using integrated estimated output error. Also, the complex actuator and /or sensor fault can be detected and isolated by monitoring the integrated error and the estimated state error. Considering the actuator and/or the sensor fault, we verify that these fault can be detected and isolated through simulation. Lastly, we show a simple reliable control method by using the detected fault signal and an added observer.

  • LPWA (low power wide area) 기반 해상 IoT 서비스를 위한 초소형 센서 노드용 안테나를 제안하였다. 제안된 안테나는 ISM 대역에서 멀티 대역용으로 설계되었다. 본 연구에서 표현한 안테나 사양은 멀티 대역 서비스를 위한 것이다.
