  • Let f : [0, 1] → [0, 1] be a multimodal map with positive topological entropy. The dynamics of the renormalization operator for multimodal maps have been investigated by Daniel Smania. It is proved that the measure of maximal entropy for a specific category of Cr interval maps is unique.

  • In this paper we obtain a unique common fixed point theorem for four self-maps which are involved in (𝜙, 𝜓)-weak contraction of a partially ordered b-metric space. The necessary condition has been given to a space for the existence of an unique common fixed of the maps. And our work changed conditions and nonlinear contraction, and search for the unique common fixed point of the maps.

  • In this paper, we give the necessary and sufficient condition for the conformal mapping ϕ : (ℝn, g0) → (Nn, h) (n ≥ 3) to be triharmonic where we prove that the gradient of its dilation is a solution of a fourth-order elliptic partial differential equation. We construct some examples of triharmonic maps which are not biharmonic and we calculate the trace of the stress-energy tensor associated with the triharmonic maps.

  • In this paper, iterative algorithms for approximating a common fixed point of a countable family of multi-valued demicontractive maps in the setting of Hadamard spaces are presented. Under different mild conditions, the sequences generated are shown to strongly convergent and ∆-convergent to a common fixed point of the considered family, accordingly. Our theorems complement many results in the literature.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of generalized weak contractivity for set-valued maps defined on quasi metric spaces. We analyze the existence of fixed points for generalized weakly contractive set-valued maps. And we have Nadler's fixed point theorem and Banach's fixed point theorem in quasi metric spaces. We investigate the convergene of iterate schem of the form $x_{n+1}{\in}Fx_n$ with error estimates.

  • In this paper, we suggest dynamic genetic tree-maps(DGTM) using optimal features on recognizing data. The DGTM uses the genetic algorithm about the importance of features rarely considerable on conventional neural networks and introduces GTM(genetic tree-maps) using tree structure according of the priority of features. Hence, we propose the extended formula, DGTM(dynamic GTM) has dynamic functions to separate and merge the neuron of neural network along the similarity of features.

  • As the centralization of city, underground facilities is increasing and being more important. And there were many underground facilities accidents in korea. It is very important to update and to have high quality accuracy of underground facilities maps. But the underground facilities maps are mapped and updated by each institutes. So it is difficult to verify the accuracy of the data. In this study, To analyze the accuracy of maps, Surveying of undergroud facilities for 18 GUs in Seoul is performed during 3 years using Electromegnetic Induction Method, Total Station and GPS. In conclusion, Horizontal accuracy of 6 underground facilities management institutes is 73cm(2004), 78cm(2005) and 75cm(2006).

  • The amount of financial information in today's sophisticated large data bases is huge and makes comparisons between company performance difficult or at least very time consuming. The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether neural networks in the form of self-organizing maps can be used to manage the complexity in large data bases. This paper structures and analyzes accounting numbers in a large data base over several time periods. By using self-organizing maps, we overcome the problems associated with finding the appropriate underlying distribution and the functional form of the underlying data in the structuring task that is often encountered, for example, when using cluster analysis. The method chosen also offers a way of visualizing the results. The data base in this study consists of annual reports of more than 80 Korean companies with data from the year 1998.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concepts of fuzzy (r, s)-semi-preopen sets and fuzzy (r, s)-semi-precontinuous maps on intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces in Sostak's sense. The relations among fuzzy (r, s)-semicontinuous, fuzzy (r, s)-precontinuous, and fuzzy (r, s)-semi-precontinuous maps are discussed. The concepts of fuzzy (r, s)-semi-preinterior, fuzzy (r, s)-semi-preclosure, fuzzy (r, s)-semi-preneighborhood, and fuzzy (r, s)-quasi-semi-preneighborhood are given. Using these concepts, the characterization for the fuzzy (r, s)-semi-precontinuous map is obtained. Also, we introduce the notions of fuzzy (r, s)-semi-preopen and fuzzy (r, s)-semi-preclosed maps on intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces in Sostak's sense, and then we investigate some of their characteristic properties.

  • The advanced computer network technology enables connectivity of computers through an open network environment. There has been growing numbers of security threat to the networks. Therefore, it requires intrusion detection and prevention technologies. In this paper, we propose a network based intrusion detection model using Fuzzy Cognitive Maps(FCM) that can detect intrusion by the Denial of Service(DoS) attack detection method adopting the packet analyses. A DoS attack appears in the form of the Probe and Syn Flooding attack which is a typical example. The Sp flooding Preventer using Fuzzy cognitive maps(SPuF) model captures and analyzes the packet information to detect Syn flooding attack. Using the result of analysis of decision module, which utilized FCM, the decision module measures the degree of danger of the DoS and trains the response module to deal with attacks. The result of simulating the "KDD ′99 Competition Data Set" in the SPuF model shows that the Probe detection rates were over 97 percentages.
