  • In this paper, finite element with embedded discontinuous line is introduced in order to avoid the difficulties of adding new nodal points along with crack growth in discrete crack model. With the discontinuous element using discontinuous shape function, stiffness matrix of finite element is derived and dual mapping technique for numerical integration is employed. Using the finite element program made with employed algorithms, algorithm is verified and fracture analysis of simple concrete beam is performed.

  • The TAM (Topographic Attentive Mapping) network is a biologically-motivated neural network. Fuzzy rules are acquired from the TAM network by the pruning algorithm. In this paper we formulate a new input layer using Gabor function for TAU network to realize receptive field of human visual cortex.

  • 본 논문에서는 복잡한 카오스 신호를 발생시키는 HVPM(hyperchaotic volume preserving maps) 모델과 HVPM 모델의 구현회로를 제안한다.

  • We prove, under some general assumptions, that a generator of any uniformly bounded Nemytskij operator, mapping a subset of space of functions of bounded variation in the sense of Wiener-Young into another space of this type, must be an affine function with respect to the second variable.

  • IN this note we study more about the omitted are for the extremal functions and its {{{{ {π } over {4 } }}}}-property based upon Schiffer's variational method and zBrickman-Wilken's result. we give an example other than the Koebe function which is both a support point of S and the extreme point of HS. Furthermore, we discuss the relations between the support points and the L wner chain.

  • In this paper, we define and study the C-integral of functions mapping an interval [a,b] into a Banach space X and discuss the relations among Henstock integral, C-integral and McShane integral. We also study the Denjoy extension of the C-integral.

  • Wulan and Zhu [16] have characterized the weighted Bergman space in the setting of the unit ball of $C^n$ in terms of Lipschitz type conditions in three different metrics. In this paper, we study characterizations of the harmonic Bergman space on the upper half-space in $R^n$. Furthermore, we extend harmonic analogues in the setting of the unit ball to the full range 0 < p < ${\infty}$. In addition, we provide the application of characterizations to showing the boundedness of a mapping defined by a difference quotient of harmonic function.

  • We establish a new strategy to study the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the Cauchy and Jensen equations in non-Archimedean normed spaces. We will also show that under some restrictions, every function which satisfies certain inequalities can be approximated by an additive mapping in non-Archimedean normed spaces. Some applications of our results will be exhibited. In particular, we will see that some results about stability and additive mappings in real normed spaces are not valid in non-Archimedean normed spaces.

  • In this paper, the method of the stability test of the Two-Dimensional digital filters is developed. The Liepunov's stability theorem of One-Dimensional discrete system is extended to Two-Dimensional digital filter transfer function which can be transformed twodimensional state space representation. The results developed above is agreed with of mapping method.

  • An experiment on the automatic population measurement of brown Mealy Bugs is first reported in this article. Several image processing techniques are employed along with mapping function and neural network. Though brown Mealy Bugs are difficult to detect because of their camouflage, the experimental results showed that approximately 74% of them were correctly detected.
