본 연구에서는 통합된 하나의 맵을 작성하기 위하여 통합 맵서버를 설계하고 구현한다. 제안된 통합 맵서버는 다음과 같은 두 가지 특징을 가진다. 첫째, 웹 환경에서 사용자의 요구를 반영하기 위하여 메타데이터를 개별화한다. 맵서버는 클라이언트에 필요한 정보를 메타데이터에 설정하기 때문에 메타데이터를 개별화하면 사용자는 자신이 원하는 형태의 통합 데이터를 얻을 수 있게 된다. 둘째, 융합 서비스 개념을 도입하여 공간 데이터 뿐만 아니라 공간 데이터와 비공간 데이터와의 통합도 지원한다. 융합 서비스는 링킹의 개념을 사용하여 실체화한다. 본 연구에서 제안한 통합맵서버는 사용자의 요구에 따른 높은 수준의 맵 통합 결과를 제공함으로써 웹 매핑 환경에서 융합의 질을 높일 수 있으며, 사용자 응답 시간도 줄일 수 있다는 것을 실험을 통하여 증명하였다.

안드로이드 시스템에서 맵을 표현하는 방법은 여러 가지가 있다. 그 중 대표적인 표현 방법으로 구글에서 제공하는 API를 통한 지오코딩을 많이 사용한다. 그러나 지오코딩을 사용할 경우 위치 표현은 가능하지만 도로의 노드 표현이나 여러 가지 위치 서비스를 위해 필요한 지도의 상세 정보를 사용할 수 없다. 또한 위치 정보의 GPS 신호를 기본으로 표현 하여 주기 때문에 GPS 음영 지역에서의 서비스가 쉽지 않은 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 지오코딩 기반에서 특정 지역 위치 서비스를 위한 맵 표현 기법과 활용 방안에 대하여 제안한다.

In this paper, we model management information for Internet service, and design and implement management architecture using CORBA and Web technologies. Concretely, we also extend WWW Service MIB so that it presents service management model which can manage WWW service effectively. We have developed management tool such as Map Editor and MIB Browser. SERVICE fault/performance/configuration management functions are also designed and implemented.

Multi-server authentication enables the subscribers to enjoy an assortment of services from various service providers based on a single registration from any registration centre. Previously, a subscriber had to register from each service provider individually to avail respective services relying on single server authentication. In the past, a number of multi-server authentication techniques can be witnessed that employed lightweight and even computationally intensive cryptographic operations. In line with this, Zhu has presented a chaotic map based multi-server authentication scheme recently, which is not only vulnerable to denial-of-service attack, stolen-verifier attack, but also lacks anonymity. This research aims at improving the Zhu's protocol in terms of cost and efficiency. Moreover, the comparative study is presented for the performance of improved model against the existing scheme, and the security of proposed model is formally proved using BAN Logic.

Free-viewpoint video (FVV) service provides multi viewpoints of contents and synthesizes intermediate video files which are not captured on some view angles so that enables users to watch as they choose wherever they want. Synthesizing video is necessary technique to provide FVV video service, because every video of the FVV contents for different view angles cannot be stored to the content server physically. For the reason, fast view synthesis can improve the quality of video service and increase user's satisfaction. One of the studies for FVV service, a method was proposed to transmit FVV service based on DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP). There is big advantage on using DASH that it is commonly used to transport video service. However, the method was only a conceptual proposal, so it is difficult to implement the system using the proposal. In this paper, we propose an implementation method to provide real-time FVV service smoothly. We suggest a system structure and operation method on the server and client side in detail, which is to be applicable to synthesize video quickly. Also, we suggest generating FVV service map additionally which controls a FVV service overall. We manage real-time information of the whole service through the service map. The service can be controlled by reducing the possible delay from network situation.

정보시스템을 통해 제공되는 서비스와 사용자 만족간의 관계는 정보시스템의 신규 서비스 개발에 있어서 중요한 사항으로 고려되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 IT기술변화에 따른 웹 환경변화를 고려하여 국가R&D보고서 서비스에 적용 가능한 12개 핵심 서비스를 도출하였다. 도출된 12개 신규 서비스는 국가R&D보고서 시맨틱검색 서비스, 연관보고서 서비스, RSS 서비스, mesh-up 서비스, topic-map service, open API 서비스, 개인화 서비스, 집단지성 서비스, SNS 서비스, 비정형데이터 서비스, 상세검색 서비스, 메일링 서비스 등이다. 국가R&D 보고서 서비스에서 도출한 12개 신규 서비스의 품질속성을 파악하기 위하여 KANO모형을 이용하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과와 서비스별 만족계수 및 서비스 분류결과를 바탕으로 단계별 서비스전략을 제시하였다. 1단계로 추진해야 할 서비스로는 비정형데이터 서비스, 개인화서비스, 연관보고서 서비스, topic-map 서비스, open API 서비스, 집단지성 서비스 등이고, 2단계로 추진해야 할 서비스로는 RSS 서비스, mesh-up 서비스, 국가R&D보고서 시맨틱검색 서비스, 메일링 서비스, 상세검색 서비스, SNS 서비스 등이다.

2012년 시범 서비스를 시작한 한국형 공간정보 오픈플랫폼 브이월드는 전국의 2차원, 3차원 지도 및 행정정보를 손쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 다양한 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 그 중 3차원 지도 서비스는 건물 단위로 모델링 되어있어 모델 요청과 이를 화면에 그리는 드로우 콜(draw call)이 개별 건물 모델에 대해 필요하다. 이로 인해 발생하는 다수의 모델 요청과 드로우 콜이 central processing unit(CPU)와 graphic processing unit(GPU) 간의 전송 및 전환 과정에서 발생하는 대기 시간 증가를 야기해 3차원 지도 서비스의 성능이 감소한다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 모델 요청 및 드로우 콜로 인해 발생하는 3차원 지도 서비스의 성능 저하를 줄이기 위한 성능 개선안을 제안한다. 이를 위해, 단일 건물 모델이 아닌 여러 건물 모델을 타일로 병합한 3차원 타일 모델을 적용하여 모델 파일에 대한 요청수와 드로우 콜을 줄이고자 하였다. 추가적으로 쿼드트리(quadtree) 알고리즘을 적용하여 화면에 그릴 영역에 필요한 모델의 탐색 시간 감소를 통해 모델 파일을 불러오는 요청 시간을 줄이고자 하였다. 이는 브이월드의 3차원 지도 서비스의 성능을 향상에 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology is a necessary function to support location based on service by using GPS in the mobile environment. These mobile systems have basic functional limitations such as a low rate of processing, limited memory capacity, and small screen size. Because of these limitations, most of the mobile systems require development of a reduced digital map to overcome problems with large-volume spatial data. In this paper, we suggest using the reduced digital map format in order to use location based on service in a PDA environment. The processing of the proposed data format consists of map generation, redefinition of layers, creating polygons, and format conversion. The proposed data format reduces the data size by about 98% comparing with DXF format based on the digital map of Busan.

과학기술 및 R&D 연구자는 선행 연구와 그 개발 결과에 대해 조사 분석하는데 많은 시간을 소비한다. 그리고 최근에는 효과적인 정보검색을 위해 시맨틱 웹을 비롯한 다양한 검색기술을 제공하고 있으며, 특히 온톨로지를 이용한 검색기술은 가장 효과적인 방법으로 알려져 있다. 이에, 본 연구는 국가 R&D정보(사업 및 과제정보), 그 사업 및 과제 수행을 통한 성과물(논문, 특허, 보고서, 기술이전 정보 등), 그리고 사업 및 과제와 연관된 정보(동향, 연구자, 용어 정보 등)를 연계하여 지식베이스(RDF-Triple)를 모델링하고, 이를 지식맵 서비스로 구현하여 연구자에게 국가 R&D정보를 한 눈에, 한 곳에서 국가 R&D정보를 살펴볼 수 있게 하는 것이다. 이를 통해, 정책가(정책입안자)에게는 R&D 전략 수립 과정 및 의사 결정을 지원할 수 있으며, 연구자에게는 선행 연구에 대한 조사 분석 시간 단축 및 새로운 연구 주제를 도출할 수 있는 기회를 제공할 수 있다.

모바일 환경에서 지도 서비스를 위해서는 휴대 단말기의 제한된 자원을 고려한 접근방법 이 요구된다. 모바일 서비스 전용 지도 데이터 베이스를 별도로 개발하여 사용하지 않는다면 지도 데이터를 축소하여 휴대 단말기로 전송할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 기존의 유선 지도 데이터 베이스로부터 검색한 지도를 휴대 단말기에 출력이 가능하도록 하는 필터링(filtering) 기법을 제안하고 성능을 평가한다. 이 필터링 기법은 지도 일반화(generalization) 기법의 'selection' 연산에 기반하여 휴대폰 환경에 적합하도록 변형 한 것이다.
