IPMC의 기계적 특성향상을 위한 SWCNT/Nafion 복합체 개발 (SWCNT/Nafion Composite Development for Improvement of Mechanical Properties of IPMC)

  • From recent research, it has revealed that Electroacitve polymer(EAP) has a physical limitation. Carbon nanotube(CNT) is known as the promising material which has excellent electro-mechanical characteristics and is mostly defect-free. It is expected that a successful synthesis of CNT and Nafion known as a primary material for IPMC would make a great improvement on its electro-mechanic feature. In this paper, we suggest the method of synthesis of CNT with Nafion which improves electro-mechanical characteristic. Using mechanical dispersion with Nafion and Isopropyl Alcohol(IPA), we disperse Single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNT). For a uniformly layer of CNT, we used a spray gun on a hot plate by a simplified method. In the result, we fabricated a disperse SWCNT/Nafion composite uniformly.

광 강도변화를 이용한 가공면 영상의 텍스쳐 특징분석 (Texture Feature Analysis of Machined Surface Image Using Intensity Gradient)

  • Super precision working technique and machine tool have been continually developed thanks to advanced electronic field. To obtain good result. it is necessary to investigate surface in grinding with $mu extrm{m}$ level. There were quite many researches to satisfy these demands by using non-contact methods through the computer vision. In this study, the texture of working surface was analyzed. co-occurrence matrices was obtained from the surface roughness. Texture parameter was obtained using position operator composed of $ heta$, d according to variation of angle direction and distance. As a result, it was found that surface texture was more affected by direction($\theta$) than distance(d).

  • This paper presents the development of real-time estimation and control details for a computer vision-based robot control method. This is accomplished using a sequential estimation scheme that permits placement of these points in each of the two-dimensional image planes of monitoring cameras. Estimation model is developed based on a model that generalizes know 4-axis Scorbot manipulator kinematics to accommodate unknown relative camera position and orientation, etc. This model uses six uncertainty-of-view parameters estimated by the iteration method. The method is tested experimentally in two ways : First the validity of estimation model is tested by using the self-built test model. Second, the practicality of the presented control method is verified in performing 4-axis manipulator's assembly task. These results show that control scheme used is precise and robust. This feature can open the door to a range of application of multi-axis robot such as deburring and welding.

  • In mobile industry, using a metal frame of devices is rapidly increased for thin and stylish designs. However, fabricating metal is one of the difficult processes because the sophisticated control of equipment is required during the whole machining time. In this study, we present an efficient multivariate monitoring procedure for the metal frame process in mobile device manufacturing. The effectiveness of the proposed procedure is demonstrated by real data from the mobile plant in one of the leading mobile companies in South Korea.

  • Automatic measurement system is required since cycle time and cost of production are increased by various factors in manual systems. This paper presents a machine vision based prototype measurement system for the automotive axisymmetric shape parts which are generally measured by a manual system that is required the tolerance of the part is very small on each machined surface. This measurement system adopts a method in which optical lens is transferred along the profile of the part to minimize measurement cycle time. The main interest of this paper is a development of an optimum measurement algorithm to the outside diameter of the parts that can be applied to various combinations of hardware. The operating system used to implement the whole system is Window XP and corresponding environment.

  • Welding using lasers can be mass-produced in high speed. In the laser welding, performing real-time monitoring system of the welding quality is very important in enhancing the efficiency of welding. In this study, the plasma and molten metal which are generated during laser welding were measured using the UV sensor and IR sensors. The results of laser welding were classified into five categories such as optimal heat input, little low heat input, low heat input, partial joining due to gap mismatch, and nozzle deviation. Also, a system was formulated which uses the measured signals with a fuzzy pattern recognition method which is used to perform real-time evaluation of the welding quality and the defects which can occur in laser welding.

  • Currently for exploring marine resources, After confirming the location of the resources by controlling search equipment and sensor module, the method which collects sample of searched resources and analyzes the quality and a contents of the resources in research vessel is been applying. This search method is structure which analyzes an ingredient in ship and decides the quality of the resources. And real-time processing for an effective resources search is been demanding. Therefore we have developed a exploration system of marine resource that can display the type feature of resources by Graphic User Interface.

  • In this paper a design procedure via computer-aided molding simulation is presented to optimize the air-trap locations in a speaker encloser of mobile phone. The molding flow simulation reveals that the race-tracking phenomenon is the dominant feature in the current mold design. In obtaining an optimal filling pattern, the local modifications of the wall thickness such as in a flow leader attachment are considered as the primary control factor, and both the gate position and the filling time become the secondary control factor. In the one-at-a-time approach, the last location to be filled in the mold cavity could be successfully moved to the extremities of the part, allowing a natural ventilation of entrapped air through the mold parting plane.

  • This study is for aspheric lens that is one of a core technology in the optical industry. The feature of a aspheric lens is not to have the spheric aberration. So in optical industry, aspheric lens are essential element to miniaturization, high effectiveness and light weight. In this study we applied a lay back-tracer method using the index of refraction to design aspheric lens. We developed the automatic design program for aspheric lens by user interfacing program VisualLISP in AutoCAD. And we manufactured aspheric lens and measured it.

  • A rule-based CAPP(computer aided process planning) system is proposed in this research to develop integrated manufacturing process of machining and inspection using OMM(On-Machine Measurement) device. Generally workpiece composed of many primitive form features. This features are determined optimum inspection sequence by analyzing the feature information such as features-relationship, probe approach direction and etc. Proposed paper is more efficient method of CAIP(computer aided inspection planning) considered machining process
