  • Recently, Organic EL(Electro Luminescence) is interested in Flat Panel Display(FPD) department of new generation. This paper describes a image processing algorithm for the scratch detecting for ITO coated glass. We use the logical level thresholding method for binarization of gray-scaled glass image. This method is useful to the algorithm for detecting scratch of ITO coated glass automatically without need of any prior information of manual fine tuning of parameters.

  • This research describes a image-processing technique for the scratch detecting algorithm for ITO coated glass. The light emitter efficiency of Organic EL has a failing-off in quality due to many causes. One of the many causes was the defects of the surface in ITO coated glass. We use the logical level thresholding method for binarization of gray-scaled glass image. This method is useful to the algorithm for detecting scratch of ITO coated glass automatically without need of any prior information of manual fine tuning of parameters.

  • The evaluation of simulation models against ADS-33 quantitative rotorcraft handling qualities metrics has, in the past, been a time consuming effort, involving many individual analyses in both the time and frequency domains. Manual tuning of control system parameters to meet handling qualities and performance specifications has been cumbersome and complicated. Performing rigorous trade-off studies for numerous variations in the control system is too time consuming to be practicable. With the complex interaction of time- and frequency based specifications for the closed- and broken-loop responses, it is difficult to know if the design makes the most effective use of the available control power. The Control Designer's Unified Interface (CONDUIT) software makes possible rapid optimization and trade-offs of design configurations against handling qualities specifications.

  • In order to solve the difficulties of parameter settings in SA algorithm, an improved practical SA algorithm is proposed by employing the threading techniques, appropriate software structures, and dynamic adjustments of temperature parameters. Threads provide a mechanism to realize a parallel processing under a disperse environment by controlling the flux of internal information of an application. Thread services divide a process by multiple processes leading to parallel processing of information to access common data. Therefore, efficient search is achieved by multiple search processes, different initial conditions, and automatic temperature adjustments. The proposed are methods are evaluated, for three types of Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) (random-tour, fractal-tour, and TSPLIB test data)are used for the performance evaluation. The experimental results show that the computational time is 5% decreased comparing to conventional SA algorithm, furthermore there is no need for manual parameter settings. These results also demonstrate that the proposed method is applicable to real-world vehicle routing problems.

  • 본 논문은 비선형성이 내재된 모바일 역진자형 로봇 시스템의 제어기 성능을 개선하고, 위치와 속도제어를 위하여 두 개의 다룬 휠로 구동되는 역진자형 타입의 모바일 로봇으로 모델링하였다. 이 시스템은 파라미터의 변화를 실시간으로 체크하고. 제어신호는 여러 상황에서 시스템이 원하는 상태를 유지하도록 변화하게 구성하였고, PI 제어기로 설계하였다. 시스템이 불안정하므로 시스템의 안전성 판별을 통하여 PI 제어기의 게인 값을 설계하였다. 위 실험 결과로서 수동 튜딩 방법 보다 터 좋은 적절한 방법의 성능을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • The objectives of this research are development of guidance, navigation and control system for RUAV on virtual instrumentation and real flight test. For this research, the system is divided to DAQ (data acquisition) section, actuator section and controller section. And the hardware and software on each sections are realized on LabVIEW base. Waypoint guidance and control of auto flight are realized using PID gain tuning and waypoint vector tracking guidance algorism. For safe flight test, auto/manual switching module isolated from FCS (Flight Control System) is developed. By using the switch module, swift mode change was achieved during emergency flight case. Consequently, a meter level error of flight performance is achieved.

  • 본 논문은 액티브네트워크 상의 웹 캐싱을 위한 서비스 컴포지션에 관하여 언급하였다. 액티브네트워크에서는 사용자의 요구사항에 맞게 서비스들을 빠르게 재구성하기 위한 서비스 컴포지션에 대한 요구사항이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 요구사항을 지원하기 위해서 우리는 액티브 네트워크상에서 웹 캐싱을 위한 서비스 컴포지션의 설계 및 구현에 관하여 언급하였다.

딥러닝 기반 후두부 질환 내시경 영상판독 보조기술 개발 (Development of Deep Learning-based Clinical Decision Supporting Technique for Laryngeal Disease using Endoscopic Images)

  • Purpose: To propose a deep learning-based clinical decision support technique for laryngeal disease on epiglottis, tongue and vocal cords. Materials and Methods: A total of 873 laryngeal endoscopic images were acquired from the PACS database of Pusan N ational University Yangsan Hospital. and VGG16 model was applied with transfer learning and fine-tuning. Results: The values of precision, recall, accuracy and F1-score for test dataset were 0.94, 0.97, 0.95 and 0.95 for epiglottis images, 0.91, 1.00, 0.95 and 0.95 for tongue images, and 0.90, 0.64, 0.73 and 0.75 for vocal cord images, respectively. Conclusion: Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed model have a potential as a tool for decision-supporting of otolaryngologist during manual inspection of laryngeal endoscopic images.

Genetic Algorithm based hyperparameter tuned CNN for identifying IoT intrusions

  • In recent years, the number of devices being connected to the internet has grown enormously, as has the intrusive behavior in the network. Thus, it is important for intrusion detection systems to report all intrusive behavior. Using deep learning and machine learning algorithms, intrusion detection systems are able to perform well in identifying attacks. However, the concern with these deep learning algorithms is their inability to identify a suitable network based on traffic volume, which requires manual changing of hyperparameters, which consumes a lot of time and effort. So, to address this, this paper offers a solution using the extended compact genetic algorithm for the automatic tuning of the hyperparameters. The novelty in this work comes in the form of modeling the problem of identifying attacks as a multi-objective optimization problem and the usage of linkage learning for solving the optimization problem. The solution is obtained using the feature map-based Convolutional Neural Network that gets encoded into genes, and using the extended compact genetic algorithm the model is optimized for the detection accuracy and latency. The CIC-IDS-2017 and 2018 datasets are used to verify the hypothesis, and the most recent analysis yielded a substantial F1 score of 99.23%. Response time, CPU, and memory consumption evaluations are done to demonstrate the suitability of this model in a fog environment.

저출력 및 과도상태시 원전 증기발생기 수위제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Water Level Control of PWR Steam Generator at Low Power Operation and Transient States)

  • 가압경수로형 원자력발전소 수위제어시스템과 특히 저출력시 수위제어상의 문제점들이 분석 및 고찰되었으며 저출력으로 운전시의 여러 과도특성에서도 안정된 제어를 하고 급수펌프고장과 같은 큰 수위변동 발생시에는 신속한 수위응답을 얻기 위한 방법이 주로 연구되었다. 제어기의 기본 알고리즘으로 퍼지제어기법을 적용하였으며 여기에 필요한 제어규칙 및 알고리즘은 운전원의 지식과 한국원자력연구소에 설치된 교육훈련용 모의제어반에서의 수동운전경험을 바탕으로 설정되었다. 실제 시스템 구현관점에서 제어변수 및 적용규칙은 보다 간편한 튜닝과 입출력변수간의 영향을 고려하여 세워졌다. 저유량일 때 측정이 불량한 유량신호에 대해, 중기발생기를 압력제어모드로 운전할 때에는 유량차의 퍼지변수로서 우회급수밸브의 개도를 이용한 대체정보를 채용하였으며 수위오차의 크기에 따라 유량차의 소속함수를 달리하는 동적인 튜닝방법을 사용하였다. 또한 우회급수와 주급수밸브간 간단한 전환알고리즘의 적용으로 밸브절환시의 수위요동을 억제하고자 하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과 저출력구간에서 원자로출력변동에 대해 기존에 설치된 방법보다 안정된 제어를 하고 동적 튜닝의 적용으로 미세제어동작과 수위오차가 큰 영역의 제어에 대해 신속한 응답과 함께 제어성능이 개선되었음을 보였다.
