The dependence of microstructural and optical properties of Ag-In-Sb-Te thin films on annealing heat-treatments was studied. It was found from the present work that the increase of reflectance after annealing heat-treatment is related with phase change of Ag-In-Sb-Te thin film from amorphous state to crystalline phases which involve Sb crystalline phase and AgInTe$_2$ stoichiometric phase. On the other hand, the reflectance is decreased after high temperature annealing (above 450$^{\circ}C$), due to the morphology .mange of film surface. For the purpose of practical application(erasable optical disk), we fabricated quadrilayered Ag-In-Sb-Te alloy disk, and annealed it with continuous laser beam. As result of this laser\ulcorner annealing treatment, we found that the increment of reflectance is 9.3% at 780nm wavelength. It might be considered that Ag-In-Sb-Te alloy optical disk is the big promising candidate for the erasable optical memory medium.

Mites in the genus Chorioptes cause a mild form of skin disease in both domestic and wild ruminants. In July 2006, dermatitis characterized by alopecia, marked lichenification, accumulation of crust, and fissuring was recognized in 14 out of 200 Holstein dairy cattle raised in the cattle farm of the National Institute of Animal Science in Cheonan, Republic of Korea. Skin lesions were distributed mainly over the tail base, and sacral and perineal regions. Microscopic examinations of skin scraping samples from severely affected areas revealed numerous mites of all developmental stages. Morphologically, pedicels of the mites were short and unjointed. The tarsal suckers occurred on the pedicels of all the legs in the male worm and on the first, second, and fourth pair of legs in the adult female worm. A single long seta at the tarsus of legs III and the length of legs II being about twice as long as legs IV in adult male mites were observed. Arising anterior to the inner-most spatulate seta was a short seta with an average of $26.4{\pm}5.8{\mu}m$ in length. Also, the length of setae #4 on the opisthosomal lobes was relatively short. Based on these observations, the mites were identified as Choriptes texanus. Although the chorioptic mange may not influence the mortality rate in the affected farm, reports indicate that a decline in milk production can be observed. This is the first report of chorioptic infestation in a cattle farm from Korea.

Recently, development and research of u-City established the ubiquitous environment which can be anytime, anywhere computing or network, has been much highlighted. Thus, current urban facilities should be managed by ubiquitous concept, and monitored location and status information in a real-time manner, and controled if necessary. In order to be establish in the purpose of management, indirect mapping through id-tag is better than facility management directly. For instance, RFID, UCODE, UFID. In this paper, we propose that represent facility object through UOID(Unique Object IDentification). UOID comprises three parts; 1) sensing object, 2) facility object, 3) cell object consists of facilities. and Life cycle management system in UOID, and network system connected with internet is proposed. We wish that proposed UOID and network system mange u-City facilities effectively, and also provide ubiquitous service to the citizen, one of the integrate service of u-City platform.

Metadata is data about data that is used to mange data itself. As applications based on DBMS are increased, it is suggested that metadata model and metadata interchange model to manage metadata in DBMS. but metadata which is in the form of XML (eXtensible Markup Language) document is generally stored into RDBMS. Therefore In this paper, as for the method to store metadata of RDBMS into OODBMS, we design metadata model, metadata interchange model and implement new repository system. The metadata of RDBMS is translated into in the form of XML Document and integrated into XML Data Server on OODBMS, eXcelon and executes retrieval metadata information about RDBMS by XQL(XML Query Language). So It is possible to searchm edit a metadata. The metadata of XML documents stored in eXcelon is easily made to be printed in web browser by applying a XSL (extensible StyleSheets Language). So we can have a detail information about property of metadata in DBMS.

This study examined the relationships between learners' perception on parents academic involvement, academic self-efficacy, school adjustment, and career maturity, and also to analyze the hypothetical structural equation model relating three independent variables to career maturity. The participants were 443 sixth grade children(218 boys and 225 girls). The findings are as follows. career maturity positively showed the highest correlations with learners' perception on parent academic involvement, and academic self-efficacy. The findings revealed that learners' perception on parent academic involvement indirectly influenced career maturity mediated by academic self-efficacy and school adjustment. Furthermore, school adjustment displayed the highest direct effect on career maturity, whereas learners' perception on parent academic involvement showed the highest indirect effect on career maturity. It was discussed to develop and mange career program, career education, and career counseling effectively for elementary school children.

Purpose - Brand equity has emerged as an indispensable marketing tool for firms engaging their business in developing nations. This study proposes that the country of origin image and advertising will affect the Korean brand equity formation, which leads to repurchase intention of Korean brands. In the study, attitude factors are applied in brand equity theory to predict repurchase intention of Korean brands. Cognitive brand equity, such as brand awareness, brand association, brand image and attitudinal brand equity, such as perceived quality and brand loyalty are considered with regards to their attitude towards the Korean brand. Design/methodology - A total of 178 Myanmar consumers out of 200 participants who have used Korean brands answered the survey and data were analyzed through SmartPLS 3.3.2 version. PLS-SEM is considered a more suitable analysis to pin down and evaluate the cause-effect relationship among all of the constructs with relatively complex models. Findings - Our results substantiate that the country of origin image positively affects brand awareness, brand associations, and brand image and advertising awareness positively affects brand awareness. Brand awareness gives positive effect only on brand association, which sustains a positive effect on brand image and brand loyalty. Brand image only has a positive effect on perceived quality, which again affects repurchase intention and brand loyalty. Brand loyalty also shows a positive effect on repurchase intention. Originality/value - Brand equity dimensions were viewed as cognitive and attitudinal outcomes of brand equity which affects repurchase intention. The drivers of brand equity were considered from the perspective of country of origin image that firms cannot control or mange, and advertising awareness which firms can control and manage. The findings also explored the relationships between cognitive and attitudinal brand equity.

Recently in order to mange better life quality much effort was spent for environmental-friendly urban development project and environmental restoration project. During these projects, there should be deep understanding about atmospheric environment change analysis and long term monitoring so that it would be helpful for better environment promotion such as heat island mitigation effect and wind way construction. In this study, the surface temperature environment change between before and after Cheonggye Stream Restoration Project was mapped and analyzed by using ASTER(Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission Reflection Radiometer) TIR(Thermal Infrared) satellite imagery and finally the fact, that the heat island effect was mitigated, was clarified. For this study, the correlation analysis was conducted through comparing the difference between atmosphere temperature of AWS(Automatic Weather System) and surface temperature of ASTER. Furthermore, this study will be the infrastructure of urban meteorology model development by understanding surface temperature pattern change and executing quantitative analysis of heat island.

Along with hardware implementation of cultural arts, the importance of cultivating and securing professionals who are able to operate and mange it from the political perspective is highlighted as a political issue. In addition, with growing public demand for culture, performing arts are enlarged and professionalized, and this increased the number of large-scale musicals and activated exchanges with overseas performances, which raised the demand for personnel of performing technology. Like this, growing theaters require professionals in the performing technology field for technically safe and quality performance. The certification system for performing arts professionals is to develop quality of theaters and performing arts by increasing vocational professionalism and safety in the performing technology field. This system performed since 2000 is getting positioned, and employees who worked for the performing technology field at this time showed a lot of attentions with certainty they would receive credit for artistic professionalism and raise pride as a performing arts professional. However, the government's political strategy to secure professionals of cultural arts and interest in human resource(HR) policy in the performing arts field were relatively insufficient. Therefore, this study examined the problems by looking into actual conditions regarding operation and role under the initial purpose of the certification system, and purposed the improvement plan as a first certification system to cultivate Korean performing arts professionals.

In this paper, we present an efficient way of implementing OpenGL ES 1.1 standard for the environments with hardware-supported OpenGL API, such as desktop PCs. Although OpenGL ES was started from the existing OpenGL features, it becomes a new three-dimensional graphics library customized for embedded systems through introducing fixed-point arithmetic operations, buffer management with fixed-point data type supports, completely new texture mapping functionalities and others. Currently, it is the official three dimensional graphics library for Google Android, Apple iPhone, PlayStation3, etc. In this paper, we achieved improvements on the arithmetic operations for the fixed-point number representation, which is the most characteristic data type for OpenGL ES. For the conversion of fixed-point data types to the floating-point number representations for the underlying OpenGL, we show the way of efficient conversion processes even with satisfying OpenGL ES standard requirements. We also introduced a simple memory management scheme to mange the converted data for the buffer containing fixed-point numbers. In the case of texture processing, the requirements in both standards are quite different and thus we used completely new software-implementations. Our final implementation result of OpenGL ES library provides all of over than 200 functions in OpenGL ES 1.1 standard and completely passed its conformance test, to show its compliance with the standard. From the efficiency viewpoint, we measured its execution times for several OpenGL ES-specific application programs and achieved at most 33.147 times improvements, to become the fastest one among the OpenGL ES implementations in the same category.

The present surveys were conducted in attempts to investigate the health situation of horses in Korea through mass-screening the samples serologically, bacteriologically and clinically. A total of 575 horses were sampled randomly, comprising 126 from the Korean Horse Affairs Association, 288 from the Korean Equestrian Federation and 161 from the Jeju ponies. Each of the samples taken was tested for diagnoses of 18 horse diseases including African horse sickness. Summarised below are the results obtained from this surveys. 1. From results of the serological survey it is evident that Korea is currently free from African horse sickness, dourine, glanders, vesicular stomatits, equine piroplasmosis, equine viral arteritis, Venezuelan encephalomyelitis and contagious equine metritis. Constant vigilence with strengthened quarantine measures is thus vital for maintaining freedom of any those diseases in Korea. 2. No clinical case was observed with any of signs or symptoms of infectious lymphangitis, anthrax and infestations with ringworm, mange or scab. However, continuous follow-up is required for establishing the evidence of no occurrence of the diseases in Korea. 3. One case of seropositive to equine infectious anemia may fully justify systematic and regular testings for the whole population of horse in Korea. 4. It is manifested that equine rhinopneumonitis, Japanese encephalitis and Getah virus infection are well established in Korea, together with the presence of equine infectious abortion(Salmonella abortus equi). This strongly entails preventive precautions before entry into Korea for the horses participating in the 1986 Asian Games and the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
