  • Driving maneuver in car following are affected by not only the factors related to road structure and traffic condition, but also the factors related to driver's cognition to them. So the aim of this research this to model the relation of driver's cognition for car-following distance considering driver's fuzziness for imformation cognition, As a result, driver's cognition of car-following distance model with fuzzy number is proposed. The 'width', which characterizes the fuzzy number can introduce car-following informtion into the model.

  • Owing to the convergence of the communication network with the control system and public network, security threats, such as information leakage and falsification, have become possible through various routes. If we examine closely at the security type of the current control system, the operation of the security system focuses on the threats made from outside to inside, so the study on the detection system of the security threats conducted by insiders is inadequate. Thus, this study, based on "Spotting the Adversary with Windows Event Log Monitoring," published by the National Security Agency, found that event logs can be utilized for the detection and maneuver of threats conducted by insiders, by analyzing the validity of detecting insider threats to the control system with the list of important event logs.

  • This paper presents the attitude algorithm using Fuzzy technique to mix gyro information with accelerometer. The attitude angle calculated by the low-cost gyros only increases its error with time rapidly because of the integration process of the algorithm and large sensor error. It is known that the accelerometer output includes the attitude information of a vehicle and its information is more effective during low dynamic maneuver. Therefore it is needed to combine two information appropriately for obtaining the attitude information from low-cost MEMS inertial sensors. 국내 주제도를 이용한 VITD 생성방안연구 : 군 지형분석지도를 중심으로 (A Study on A VITD Creation Method using Domestic Thematic Maps : Focusing on Military Topographic Analysis Maps)

  • 군 현장에서 국내의 여러 주제도를 활용하고자 하는 시도들이 있었지만, 군 지형분석지도의 속성데이터 타입은 DIGEST의 FACC를 사용하고 있어 다른 타입의 속성코드를 가진 국내 주제도를 활용하는 것에 한계가 있었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미군의 MIL-PRF-89040 문서에 기반을 둔 데이터 속성인 FACC를 분석 하였고 우리나라에서 제작하여 사용되고 있는 국내 주제도의 속성코드를 FACC에 맞게 변경하여 VITD를 생성하였다. 이 결과를 실제 활용 할 수 있는지 검증하기 위해 FM 5-33에 정의된 야지기동로 분석에 적용해 보았다. 적용 결과, 본 연구에서 제시한 방법이 야지기동로 확보에 유용함을 확인하였고, 이는 향후 국내 주제도를 이용한 군 지형분석지도 제작뿐만 아니라, 긴급 수송을 위한 임도 확보 등에 활용이 가능하다는 것을 의미한다.

효과분석 시뮬레이션을 이용한 미지 우주물체 광학 추적 시스템 설계 변수 조합 분석 (Combination Analysis of Optical Tracking System Design Variables for Unknown Space Objects Using Effectiveness Analysis Simulation)

  • 본 논문은 미지 우주물체에 대한 광학 연속 관측을 위한 효과 척도를 정의하고, 통합 시뮬레이션 수행을 이용하여 망원경/마운트 제어 시스템 관점에서 효과 척도를 만족할 수 있는 설계 변수 조합 범위를 제시하였다. 표적의 위치 예측과 함께 프레임률, 영상처리 소요시간과 측정 오차, 표적 궤적특성 및 마운트 김발의 기동성능 등의 설계 변수를 고려하여 전체적인 시스템 수준에서의 시뮬레이션을 구현하고 추적 성능을 분석하였다. 분석 결과 광학 관측 시스템의 연속 추적 성능은 프레임률과 마운트 기동성능의 조합에 의존적임을 확인할 수 있었다. 광학 관측 시스템을 설계하거나 상용 제품을 구입하여 유사 시스템을 구성할 때, 본 연구와 같이 효과분석 시뮬레이션을 이용하면 설계 변수들 사이의 적절한 요소 조합을 찾을 수 있을 것이다.

Moving Object Management System for Battlefield Simulation

  • A battlefield simulation is the evaluation and analysis of the battlefield area, based on the data for terrain, climate, unit's maneuver and tactics basically required in battlefield simulation. Because it is difficult for the military authorities to collect all of the information perfectly for the reason of communication technology, jamming, and tactics, the military authorities need the future moving status for the target units by using acquired moving information. Therefore, we propose a moving object management system that concurrently provides domain reasoning function for the battlefield simulation. In order to implement the proposed system, we show the data modeling of the moving object for the battlefield simulation, and propose an inference engine using domain rule base and spatiotemporal operation. Also, we analyze the query response rate by inference function to verify domain reasoning of the implemented system.

  • Recently, autonomous vehicles have been studied actively. Autonomous vehicles can detect objects around them using their on board sensors, estimate collision probability and maneuver to avoid colliding with objects. Many algorithms are suggested to prevent collision avoidance. However there are limitations of complex and diverse environments because algorithm uses only the information of attached environmental sensors and mainly depends on TTC (time-to-Collision) parameter. In this paper, autonomous driving algorithm using I2V communication-based cooperative sensing information is developed to cope with complex and diverse environments through sensor fusion of objects information from infrastructure camera and object information from equipped sensors. The cooperative sensing based autonomous driving algorithm is implemented in autonomous shuttle bus and the proposed algorithm proved to be able to improve the autonomous navigation technology effectively.

  • Visual information and aural warning of independent aircraft survivability equipment increase the pilot workload and limit the effective countermeasures. For increase the aircraft survivability, Integrated design of survivability display and aural warning need to consider pilot intuitions. If pilot aware the threat by intuition, evade or escape from the threat using the countermeasures equipment, it will increase the survivability. This paper describe the design and verification of for Utility Helicopter survivability equipment.

On the Use of Finite Rotation Angles for Spacecraft Attitude Control

  • This paper examines finite rotation angle (FRA) applications for spacecraft attitude control. The coordinate transformation matrix and the attitude kinematics represented by FRAs are introduced. The interpolation techniques for the angular orientations are thoroughly investigated using the FRAs and the results are compared to those using traditional methods. The paper proposes trajectory description techniques by using extremely smooth polynomial functions of time, which can describe point-to-point attitude maneuvers in a realizable and accurate manner with the help of unique FRA features. In addition, new controller design techniques using the FRAs are developed by combining the proposed interpolation techniques with a model predictive control framework. The proposed techniques are validated through their attitude control applications for an aggressive point-to-point maneuver. Conclusively, the FRAs provide much more flexibility than quaternions and Euler angles when describing kinematics, generating trajectories, and designing attitude controllers for spacecraft.

  • It is always a dream to recreate the experience of a particular place, the Panorama Virtual Reality has been interpreted as a kind of technology to create virtual environments and the ability to maneuver angle for and select the path of view in a dynamic scene. In this paper we examined an efficient algorithm for Image registration and stitching of captured imaged from a video stream. Two approaches are studied in this paper. First, dynamic programming is used to spot the ideal key points, match these points to merge adjacent images together, later image blending is use for smooth color transitions. In second approach, FAST and SURF detection are used to find distinct features in the images and a nearest neighbor algorithm is used to match corresponding features, estimate homography with matched key points using RANSAC. The paper also covers the automatically choosing (recognizing, comparing) images to stitching method.
