고속 하이비젼 카메라 기술을 이용한 철도차량 차륜형상 측정에 관한 연구 (A study on Profile Measurement for Railway Wheels using High Speed Camera and Vision Technology)

  • 현재 국내 철도차량에 사용되고 있는 주요 부품의 유지와 보수를 위한 검사장비는 대부분 외국으로부터 수입하여 사용하고 있다. 특히 차륜형상 측정장비 등과 같은 일부 검사장비는 외국의 장비를 벤치 마킹하여 제작한 국산화 장비를 설치하여 사용하고 있으나, 이들 국산화 장비는 신뢰성과 성능에 많은 문제점이 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 철도차량 차륜의 유지 및 보수를 위한 차륜형상 측정장치의 정밀도와 신뢰도 향상을 위하여 최신의 고속 하이비젼 카메라 기술과 최적화된 영상처리 알고리즘을 적용하여 차륜형상 측정시스템을 개발하였다. 신뢰성 평가 실험결과 개발된 차륜형상 측정시스템의 신뢰도는 기존 시스템에 비하여 약 10.4%의 신뢰도 향상 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

도시철도 차량의 지식기반 유지보수 방안 (Knowledge-based maintenance system for EMU)

  • Since the most part of maintenance work for EMU depends on the worker's know-how, the quality of maintenance is different according to the worker's skill and experience. Especially EMU is composed of the various parts such as electrics, electronics, communication, signal, and machinery, etc., and performs its function by their organic work. Therefore it is very difficult to improve the quality of maintenance for EMU. In this paper we purpose how to change the know-how-based maintenance method to knowledge-based maintenance method. Consequently we can ensure the quality of maintenance for EMU, and improve the quality by continuous maintaining the knowledge.

  • Subway operators in the country have their own heavy maintenance facilities for maintaining rolling stock(EMU). However, it is true that the heavy maintenance facilities are not utilized 100% with the recent trend of lengthening maintenance cycle(intervals). With the fact, this enabled the existing maintenance facilities to be utilized for other purposes. By taking advantage of spare facilities and the maintenance staff with rolling stock assembly abilities, subway operators can assemble rolling stock by procuring parts for the assembly instead of purchasing trains from other companies. It is estimated that this will enhance the operator's technology and have a great impact on the management skill as well. This study attempts to find out how the heavy maintenance factory can be utilized for rolling stock assembly.

  • The Railroad Safety Act's regulation reads as follows. "The Minister of Construction and Transportation may qualify and authorize the product to guarantee performance and safety of parts, machine, and device used in Railway fields." Another regulation reads as follows."“The guidelines about targets, standards, and procedures of Quality and Authority in first provision are decided as Ministry of Construction and Transportation Decree." The software used in rail cars and facilities is considered as a railway product. Therefore, it is qualified and authorized for acquiring the safety of rail cars and facilities. The software businesses shall again a Quality and Authority for applying a software to the rail cars and facilities. This paper regulates some guidelines that are needed to develop a software. The procedures that a software developer performs are divided by plan, requirement, design, implementation, and maintenance. The procedures that a software verification person performs are classified by verification plan, requirement verification, design verification, implementation verification, testing verification, maintenance verification, and safety activity. The entire processes and detailed activities to develope and verify a software are described as new guidelines.

전기식 도어시스템의 고장건수 및 지연시간을 활용한 열차운행장애 분석 (Analysis of Train Operation Obstacle Using Number of Failures and Delay Time of Electric Door System)

  • This paper analyzes functions of component parts of D-Urban Railway's door system along with operation obstacle risks on frequency(the number of occurrences/year) and severity(delay time/the number of occurrences). Based on this, the paper presents improvements and current system's problems after obstacle risks of EMU and door system are appled. The obstacle of door system causes corrosion of main parts such as DCU due to heat problem of operation environment, problems of maintenance methods and deterioration. DCUs on PCBs with more than 50% pattern corrosion cause problems. Even though the number of door system's obstacle occurrences for the last 5 years is 42, along with 104 minutes of operation obstacle, EMU operation obstacle risk is low(Level 1), which indicates there is limit in matrix of railway risks presented by the standard of railway safety management system. Therefore, it is necessary to have railway risk matrix suitable for the field. Finally, the paper deducts the obstacle risks through frequency and severity. Since 2017 when the risks of EMU and door system's obstacle, that of EMU has been 24(47% reduced) and that of door system has been average 9.5 per year(23% reduced).

  • BOM(Bill of Materials) is a listing or description of raw materials, parts, and assemblies that define a product. In order to evaluate the performance of proposed BOM management system, which is very important to maintenance information system of urban transit. We develop component based BOM data and rule-set to design data structure that is mutually independent and integrated efficiently. It divides data whit management interface using component technology. The component based master BOM have advantage in database size and flexibility. Flexibility is measured as the number of updating records in accordance with added new product or engineering change. In database size, component based BOM is the best. we develop master BOM management system in web environment.

  • 철도차량에 RFID 시스템을 도입함으로써 철도 부품관리 등을 포함한 철도차량의 스마트한 운영관리가 가능하도록 하는 것은 경제적, 산업적 뿐 아니라 사회적으로도 많은 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 해외의 RFID 연구 및 개발 활용사례를 조사 분석하였다. 철도 뿐 아니라 다양한 산업분야에 RFID 기술이 적용된 사례에 관해서도 조사하였다. 철도분야에서는 주로 차량위치 검지, 차량인식 등에 RFID 시스템이 사용된 경우가 거의 대부분이었고 부품의 단순이력 관리 등에 응용한 사례도 있었다. 본 연구를 통해, 세계적으로 이미 여러 산업분야에서 RFID 기술이 활용되고 있고 철도분야에서도 여러 국가에서 RFID 기술을 활용한 운영이 활성화되어 있으나 이러한 기술 활용은 주로 차량운행과 관련된 분야에 국한되어 있고 철도부품의 유지보수 등의 분야에서는 RFID 기술개발 및 활용이 미흡하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 국내의 철도차량의 스마트한 운영관리를 위해서는 RFID 기술을 철도부품의 유지보수 및 이력관리에 적용할 수 있는 시스템이 반드시 필요하다.

  • This dissertation finds out trouble types and occurrence regions using the faulty statistics of nondestructive test items in rolling stock parts of the Seoul Metro and using mechanical test about defective and broken parts with broken surface observation, cutting examination about trouble region, hardness experiment and tensile test. Also this dissertation finds out cause of trouble and damage through observation of microscopic formation using metallurgical microscope and scanning electron microscope, residual stress measurement about welding parts and damage diagnosis about defective and broken parts. Moreover it will present the improved plan of nondestructive method about trouble and the removal method of defect and repair welding and find solutions of reliability in parts and preventive maintenance.

고성능 카메라를 이용한 철도차량 주행장치용 고속스케닝시스템 알고리즘에 관한 연구 (Study on Algorithm of High-Speed Scanning System for Railway Vehicle Running Units Using High Performance Camera)

  • It is necessary to apply a non-contact high-speed scanning system that can measure in real time in order to prevent the dropping and deformation of the main parts of railway vehicles during high-speed running. Recently, research on a scanning system that detects the deformation state of main parts from a video image taken using a high-performance camera has been actively pursued. In this study, we researched an analysis algorithm of a high-speed scanning system that uses a high-performance camera to monitor the deformation and drop-out state of the main components of the running units equipment in real time.

신뢰성 측면에서 고속차량 유지보수 발전 방향 (Orientation of the development within reliability for maintenance of KTX)

  • The present paper to relate with the maintenance of the high-speed vehicle, KTX and is to treat a reliability evaluation. The reliability of the high-speed vehicle while operating between-failure average mileage (MKBSF) and parts between-failure average mileage (MKBF), 1,000,000 per km service failure number of items and availability and per km evaluated a maintenance expense. The reliability evaluation results and 2007 year reliability management indexes compared in 2006 years and they improved, per km the maintenance expense compared at 2006 and 36.6% was decreased. Reliability management activity leads and availability of the high-speed vehicle, safety improves and with the fact that will be able to decrease the maintenance expense which is an economic scale of railroad service is expected.
