  • Computer-aided logistics support system is recognized an essential system to reduce supply and maintenance cost, and to improve readiness of weapon system or operationable composite machines. According to these trends, this paper focuses on the design scheme and the computerization strategy of information management system for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) work. Suggested system. LAMIS(Logistics support Analysis Management Information System) is a total system that composed of Logistics Support Analysis Management information system (LSAM), Configuration Management Information System (CMIS), Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS), Project Management System (PMS) and Information Retrival System(IRS) etc. Also, LAMIS is a computerized tool that improves current supply and maintenance support program, that attempts to reliable requirment analysis of logistics support elements, and that supports to use the existing technical specification of similar one when weapon system acquisition project is started newly. When LAMIS implication is completed, it can be applied to logistics support of defense or commercial site. Straightway, LAMIS will be enhanced with computer - aided design system, engineering drawing system, interactive electronic technical manual system, electronic data interchange system, and three dimensional simulation system to weapon system configuration. When that is done, LAMIS is CALS system.

  • A data base design framework for predictive a preventive-maintenance system is presented in this paper in order to effectively control machines and reduce accident rates in the workplace. The data base is designed to meet general management requirements to evaluate different maintenance strategies. There are seven data files: the equipment list maintenace pesonnel, maintenance history, maintenance specification, spare part, maintenance equipment, and maintenance schedules. Each data base file has several record based upon data acquisition.

Applying BIM and GIS to Railway Maintenance Works in Taiwan

  • Based on real jobs, this study was carried out the Railway maintenance works in Taiwan. It hopes to use Geographic Information System(GIS) and Building Information Modeling(BIM) for changing the maintenance model from "post-damage repair" to "preventive maintenance". Accordingly, this research will build a Railway Repairing Database that installs all repair data. This database will also connect to GIS so that can be the source of analysis and statistic for repair paln. The main results of research are as follows: I. All data stored on cloud space that raises the ability to manage and plan on repair. II. Simplify the file work and increase the quantity of case data to the manager who can get more reliable source. III. The data offer objective judgment to avoid subjective argument. IV. Add the GIS information to improve the maintenance because of good analisis.

  • From the early 90's TPM(Total Productive Maintenance) plays important roles to improve productivity and quality to keep enterprise's competivity. This study presents the results of an enquiry for the maintenance management of Korean industry in 1996. The response rate was 35.8% (43 companies) that the corporations were divided into four industrial groups, heavy process, light process, heavy assembly and light assembly. 40 question were asked, including maintenance organization, maintenance personnel, maintenance cost, measurement of maintenance performance and improvements achieved. This paper compares the results with those of an earlier Japanese and British enquiry.

  • After insufficient road facilities are expanded, it is more important to maintain performance of road facilities the time according to passing. When the road facilities are maintained optimally through proper maintenance, the total amount of investment can be minimized and national competitiveness is improved. Individual maintenance research of road facilities such as PMS or BMS was in progress until currently, but it is difficult to joint ownership and share information between systems, and it is impossible to use as the decision-making. Therefore, Asset Management System for road facilities is enforced to solve the inefficiency of existing systems, maintenance the road facilities systematically under the limited budget and get the maximum benefits against the cost from the view point of long-term. In this paper, the concept of Asset Management System explained, and research plan from KICT in order to introduce the Asset Management System of road facilities from 2008 hereafter for 5 years accounted.

  • The poor maintenance and management of HVAC systems finally lead to the shortening of the life expectancy and result in the increase of operating costs and energy consumptions due to low efficiencies. Also, it is essential to try to develop ways to adequately maintain and to use the building facilities efficiently in order to preserve earth environment and the limited resource. In this study, an analysis on the maintenance and management cost for HVAC systems was carried out with the capacity of equipment. Besides, the LCC(Life Cycle Cost) based analysis was carried out to verify the effect of the doing maintenance and management. As the results, the case of the good maintenance and management is able to save LCC to 11 % than the case of the poor method.

  • 지자체에서 관리하는 교량에 대해서 과학적이고 체계적인 유지관리 표준안과 정량화된 데이터기반을 통한 예산확보 및 집행의 과학화를 위해 지자체관리용 교량 유지관리시스템이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구는 지자체에서 유지관리하고 있는 소규모 교량의 효율적인 관리를 위한 시스템 개발을 목표로 하며 BIM/GIS기술 등의 ICT융합기술을 사용하였다. 시스템개발의 세부내용으로는 모바일 기기용 소규모 교량 유지관리 프로그램 개발, 소규모 교량 유지관리 데이터베이스 개발, 소규모 교량 통합유지관리 개발이며 지자체에서 관리하는 소규모 교량의 테스트베드 구축 및 운영내용을 확인하여 개발한 프로그램 시스템의 신뢰성을 얻었다. 개발된 프로그램 시스템을 무전원방식의 교량 스마트 명판제작 및 Reader모듈 개발로 연계하였다.

  • The maintenance of educational facilities is divided into inspection and management of facility managers residing in the school and Educational Environment Improvement Projects(EEIP) to carry out maintenance work. Educational support organizations collect maintenance requests through facility inspections by school-specific facility managers, and carry out numerous maintenance projects during the year. The EEIP has the characteristic of Program Management with interrelationships between projects, not multiple projects management. The purpose of the EEIP is to eliminate the inconvenience of school facility users and increase their satisfaction, and achieving the goal is judged to be successful. Despite the importance of management and performance measurement utilizing Critical Success Factor(CSF) for the operation of successful educational facility maintenance management programs, the system for achieving the goals is insufficient. This study derives CSFs for each stage of the EEIP for the success of the EEIP. The CSFs for each stage of the EEIP is expected to serve as a basis for evaluation of educational facility maintenance management programs and can be used as an evaluation index in the future.

  • 최근 정보기술은 여러 산업분야에 접목되어 보이지 않는 많은 효과를 창출하고 있다. 건설분야에서도 이러한 정보기술을 통한 정보화가 단계적으로 진행되고 있다. 유지관리 분야는 건설 제 단계 중 관심 및 중요도가 점차 고조되고 있는 분야로 시설물의 공용기간동안 체계적인 관리기법을 도입하여 생애주기비용을 최소화하며, 시설물의 기능을 향상시키려는 유지관리 주체들의 분주한 움직임이 한창이다. 본 연구는 이러한 주변환경에 부합하여 가장 효율적인 시설물 유지관리 정보시스템을 도입하기 위한 방향을 수립하는데 주요 초점을 두었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 먼저, 대상시설물을 선정하고 시설물별 유지관리 주체들에 대한 환경 및 현황분석을 실시한 후 그 결과에 입각한 정보시스템 도입방향을 제시하였다. 기존의 유지관리 관린 정보시스템의 문제점을 보완하고, 유지관리. 주체의 실무자들이 직접 수행하는 유지관리 관련 업무를 개선할 수 있는 방안을 도출하고자 하였다.

  • Today, as interest in the importance of urban parks increases, many citied internationally are actively creating small parks, but their maintenance systems remain ineffective. Accordingly, in this study, the limitations and problems in the operation and management of urban parks were derived by examining previous studies on overall urban park maintenance and management. Based on this, the study tried to understand the actual state of maintenance and management of small parks through data surveys and field surveys related to budget execution on case sites. Then, we sought to clarify the actual state of maintenance and management of small parks through data surveys and field surveys regarding the budget execution of case sites as a basis for research to prepare an efficient and systematic improvement plan for the maintenance management system of city parks.
