영향인자를 고려한 절토사면 보강공법 선정기법 (Determination Technique of Cut-Slope Reinforcing Method Considering the Effect Factor)

  • 본 연구에서는 절토사면 공법선정시 고려해야 할 영향인자에 대한 가중치 결정과 사면보강공법 선호도를 AHP기법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구, 설계, 시공업에 종사하고 있는 전문가를 대상으로 분석한 결과 공법선택시 안정성 및 내구성, 환경성이 가장 중요한 영향인자로 조사되었으며, 안전율 증가법 위주로 분석된 사면보강공법 선호도 조사에서는 경제성과 유지관리 용이성, 안정성에서 가장 우수한 평가를 받은 옹벽공법과 절토공법이 가장 선호도가 높은 공법으로 분석되었다.

Roles of Safety Management System (SMS) in Aircraft Development

  • Safety is the first priority in civil aviation, and so the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has introduced and mandated the use of Safety Management Systems (SMS) by airlines, airports, air traffic services, aircraft maintenance organizations, and training organizations. The aircraft manufacturing industry is the last for which ICAO has mandated the implementation of SMS. Since SMS is a somewhat newer approach for most manufacturers in the aviation industry, they hardly believe in the value of implementing SMS. The management of safety risk characteristics that occur during early aircraft development stages and the systematic linkage that the safety risk has to do with an aircraft in service could have a significant influence on the safe operation and life cycle of the aircraft. This paper conducts a case analysis of the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 accident/incident to identify the root causes and safety risk levels, and also verified why aircraft manufacturing industry should begin to adopt SMS in order to prevent aircraft accident.

사회기반 시설물의 유지관리를 위한 multi-layered 데이터베이스 개념 (A concept of multi -layered database for management and maintenance of civil infrastructures)

  • A framework of multi layered database is proposed for the integrated operation of civil infrastructure information in this study. The multi-layered database is a logically integrated database composed of standardized information layers. The framework of multi-layered database is defined by three axes, national assets, lifetime, and data levels. The axis of national assets indicates civil infrastructures such as bridges, dams, tunnels and power plants that can be considered as national key structures. The axes of lifetime and data levels indicate the standardized information layers generated from the life-phase of civil infrastructure and the priority of data in the information layers, respectively. The standardized information layers are basically composed of reusable data sets defined by information models. A prototype of standard database for steel bridges is constructed based on the framework as a proof of concept. Demonstration examples such as data consistency check and automatic generation of a FEA model show that the proposed concept can assure the sustainable interoperability of civil infrastructure information as well as design information of steel bridges.

TOPSIS방법을 이용한 물류서비스품질 우선순위 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Selection of Logistic Service Quality Priority with TOPSIS)

  • Logistic enterprises want to be competitive enterprises in fierce logistic market and worry about the securement of discriminative competitiveness for it. The standards for the judgement of logistic industry's maintenance of competitiveness are not only economic feasibility of logistic costs but also the satisfaction of users because well-established service system for variety and enhancement of logistic needs. Some of the quality attributes sufficiently satisfy expectation of customers, but not guarantee high-quality satisfaction. Therefore, it's difficult to grasp quality attributes with the existing approach of perceived service quality. Quality attribute model suggested by Kano is widely used as the concept is accurate, there is high possibility to be used at the stage of product/service planning, and it can be easily applied. Kano model has a limitation that quality attributes are classified with mode and the differences between strong property of the quality attribute and week property in quality attributes were ignored. Therefore, Timko calculated customer satisfaction coefficient with the result of Kano's survey and effects of customer satisfaction and unsatisfaction through relations between satisfaction coefficient and unsatisfaction coefficient. The purposes of this study are to use ASC, the average of satisfaction coefficient and unsatisfaction, as the satisfaction of quality characteristics, decide the importance of quality characteristics with TOPSIS, a representative multi-standard decision-making method, and calculate strategy improvement propriety of logistic service quality.

농촌중년여성의 건강행위 유형 (A Study on Types of Health Behavior among Middle Aged Women in Rural Areas)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to better understand types of health behavior in middle aged women in the Korean agricultural society, understand their nursing needs, and eventually present guidelines to develop proper nursing interventions. Method: Participants for this study were 16 middle aged women from farming communities, who lived in C county and were independent and without chronic ailments. In collection and analysis of data Strauss & Cortin's (1997) research processes and methods were used. The period of data collection was between April 2001 and February 2002. Result: The results of the study showed that the core category was the family-oriented process of $yangsaeng^{1)}$, and four types of health behaviors were observed; $momboyang^{2)}$ maintenance of health through daily life, managing mental health, and managing illness. Each type was perceived to differ from the other in the terms of health behavior priority which was largely affected by the cultural surrounding, for example, degree of attention to children's education and tendency to a traditional role for women. Conclusion: In conclusion, nurses need to understand various types of health behavior in middle aged women. The findings from this study can be applied to the development of Korean nursing interventions that are based on health behavior among middle aged women in the Korean agricultural society. These interventions can then. be based upon understanding of Korean culture rather than drawn only from Western concepts of health behavior.

해양파이프라인 비파괴검사를 위한 와전류 센서 개발 (Eddy Current Sensor Development for Offshore Pipeline NDT Inspection)

  • Regular high-strength carbon steel is currently the most commonly used pipe material for onshore and offshore pipelines. The corrosion of offshore pipelines is a major problem as they age. The collapse of these structures as a result of corrosion may have a heavy cost is lives and assets. Therefore, their monitoring and screening is a high priority for maintenance, which may ensure the integrity and safety of a structure. Monitoring risers and subsea pipelines effectively can be accomplished using eddy current inspection to detect the average remaining wall thickness of corroded low-alloy carbon steel pipelines through corrosion scaling, paint, coating, and concrete. A test specimen for simulating the offshore pipeline is prepared as a standard specimen for an analysis and experiment with differential bobbin eddy current sensors. Using encircling coils, the signals for the defect in the simulated specimen are analyzed and evaluated in experiments. Differential bobbin eddy current sensors can diagnose the defects in a specimen, and experiments have been carried out using the developed bobbin eddy current sensor. As a result, the most optimum coil parameters were selected for designing differential bobbin eddy current sensors.

소형 다관절로봇을 위한 운용 소프트웨어 구현 (Implementation of Operating Software for Small Multi-Jointed Robots)

  • The small multi-jointed robots for most education are developed with the way of firmware. But the firmware may be very difficult to develop as gradually increasing throughputs and control routines. Due to limit of firmware we try to use on RTOS, but hard to adapt on the small multi-jointed robots. It would be hard to install RTOS into the small multi-jointed robots because of the size capacity of RTOS, and lack of libraries for control of the particular hardware. Moreover, even its RTOS with many functions causes its to make overheads scheduling, TCB (Task Control Block), and task states. Also to keep maintenance of RTOS, it is composed of components for the whole structure of my proposed RTOS. Additionally, We provided with libraries of servo motor and sensor control and developed RMS (Rate Montonic scheduler) to handle tasks on real time and reduce overheads. Therefore, It is possible to work the fixed priority and task preemptive way. We show one example of the multi-jointed robot installed with my proposed RTOS, which shows to obstacle avoidance and climbing up the slope.

Kano-QFD 통합모형에서의 고객 요구속성 중요도 산정 (Derivation of Weights for Customer Requirements Attribute in Kano-QFD Integration Model)

  • Recently, companies are trying to gain a competitive advantage in the market to meet the voice of customer. For this purpose, QFD has been used as product development technology in many areas to include the customer' requirements. Also, Kano model has been used to understand the customer' requirements for an effective way. Therefore integration of Kano model and QFD can more efficiently reflect the customer' requirements when designing a new service. This paper proposes PI index by taking into account the current satisfaction position of our company and competitors while IR (Improvement Ratio) value was set uniformity. This study suggests a more accurate index to predict potential improvements and calculates the final importance or priority. Through case studies targeted at elevator maintenance companies, we can have a general idea how much to improve in the near future and estimate the final importance of customer requirements.

스마트융합 환경 하의 정보통신공사업 역량강화를 위한 정책우선순위 연구 (A Study of Priority of Policies for Strengthening Capability in the Information and Communication Work Business)

  • The information and communications construction business has the characteristics of an infrastructure industry and responsibility for the construction and maintenance of all ICT infrastructures. With the recent proliferation of the smart convergence of various industries based on ICT infrastructure, the role of the information and communications construction business has been highlighted to accommodate the convergence and implementation environment in construction and medical industries. Therefore, this paper seeks policy measures to establish the new role of the information and communications business under the rapidly developing smart convergence environment and the priorities of policy measures to strengthen the capability of the information and communications business using a quantitative model. The analysis result suggests that the difference in importance of each policy measure should be considered in order to execute effectively the policy of promoting the information and communications construction business. Given the constraint of limited budget, policy priorities include the development of new markets, and establishment of incentive for new technology. This study is significant for its theoretical contribution, being the first quantitative approach to policy priorities for the promotion of information and communications construction business under the smart convertgence environment.

국방표준 및 규격의 제·개정 우선순위 산출을 위한 모형 개발 (Development of Priority Calculation Models for Enacting and Revising the Korea Defense Standards and Specifications)

  • Purpose: This study developed a method of determining priorities for evaluating and revising defense standards. Methods: The proposed data integration and refinement methods are used to obtain component reliability information and to determine the frequency of component citation based on Pareto analysis. Based on the reliability information and the frequency of cited components, the target components for quality improvement can be determined and improved using various methods, such as engineering changes, special meetings, additional training, and revising the maintenance manual. Results: Based on the proposed process, we identified components that need to be improved in order to enhance the quality and reliability. Conclusion: Our process will improve the quality and reliability of weapon systems. The proposed process can be adopted for various weapon systems to enhance their quality and reliability, and to reduce military spending.
