영재와 평재의 인지양식 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Field Independence Cognitive Styles of Gifted and Normal Children)

  • A group of 84 young children were administered the Preschool embedded Figures Test(PEFT). A three way analysis of variance was performed utilizing giftedness (gifted, normal), gender, and year(4 year-old class, 5 year-old class) as independent variables. The giftedness main effect was statistically significant. Gifted children were more effect not year main effect were statistically significant. The interaction effects between giftedness and gender, between giftedness and year, between gender and year were not significant either.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of sprue length and casting pressure on the relative castability of the base metal alloys, commonly used to make porcelain metal restoration. Samples of total 30 were constucted and devided into 6 groups according to three variables (low, medium, high). The total number of complety cast squares were counted, verified and recorded. The results of this 1. main effect of casting pressure was statistically significant.(P<0.05). 2. main effect of sprue length was not statistically significant.

리테일테인먼트에 따라 구매특성과 구매효용이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Nature of Purchase and Purchase Utility on Purchase Intention According to Retailtainment)

  • Purpose - The development of technologies lead the volume of sale on online market increase but an off-line shopping center is still a core component in the omni-channel strategy. It is generally thought that high-level retailtainment on brick and mortar store affects purchase intentions positively, but some previous studies dispute that and have reported that retailtainment does not affect purchase intentions. So we have studied the additional factors' effect - the nature of purchase and utility - with retailtainment. Research design, data, and methodology - There are 8 treatment groups which were assigned by the method of retailtainment (high vs. low), nature of purchase (essential vs. non-essential), and utility (acquisition vs. transaction). A total of 240 subjects (office workers = 163, 68%; undergraduates = 77, 32%; average age = 30s; female = 39%) were divided into groups and exposed to one of the eight scenarios. Participant's purchase intention was the dependent, and ANOVA and L-matrix were used to analyze for main and interactive effects between factors. Results - First, the main effect and interactive effect between retailtainment and the nature of purchase are significant. We also found that the contrast between essential and non-essential at low-level retailtainment is higher than that of high-level retailtainment. Second, in the case of retailtainment and utility, transaction utility under high-level retailtainment affects purchase intentions positively. Third, between the nature of the purchase and utility, the main effect of the nature of purchase and the interactive effect is significant, but the main effect of utility is not significant. In the case of non-essential goods, the purchase intention was high when transaction utility was provided but in the case of essential goods, acquisition utility increased purchase intentions. Finally, when transaction utility is given, purchase intentions of essential goods increase under low retailtainment, and the purchase intentions of non-essential goods increase under high retailtainment. Conclusions - When customers buy essential goods, discounts decrease purchase intentions. During the season for bargain sales, purchase intentions increase when retailtainment of essential goods is low, and retailtainment of non-essential goods is high.

  • The main purpose of this paper is to estimate environmental preference of advanced countries for water and air pollution. In doing so, we introduce home production. That is, we assume that pollution has not only negative effect on utility but also positive effect on production. Thus if the former is greater that the latter effect, the total effect of pollution is negative. In this paper, we investigated this effect of advanced countries by using GMM estimator. The main finding is that in case of air pollution. This effect is negative. This implies that in case of air pollution, the disutility effect is greater that productivity effect.

Power Comparison in a Balanced Factorial Design with a Nested Factor

  • In a balanced factorial design with a nested factor where crossed factors as well as a nested factor exist simultaneously, powers of the rank transformed FR statistic for testing the main, nested and interaction effects are superior to those of the parametric F statistic. In heavy tailed distributions such as exponential and double exponential distributions, powers of the FR statistic show much higher level than those of the F statistic. Further powers of the F and FR statistic for testing the main effect show the highest level in an absolute size as compared with powers of the F and FR statistic for testing the nested and interaction effects. However powers of the FR statistic for testing the nested and interaction effects rather than the main effect are greater in a relative size than powers of F statistic for the all population distributions.

  • In order to answer the challenge that development gave to environment, Chinese cities are making up and putting into effect the green space system planning. The planning main keys are: set down standards and scope of green space; bring the characteristics of every types of green space in to full play and made into basic units of the system; formed powerful links of the system; make full use of the natural system of city, constituted the urban and countryside as a organic whole green space system, therefore give full play their function and ecological effect. In fact, this green space system is a complex system. It is the main body of city ecological system, a main container of the citizen activities of leisure and recreation and a leading factor for making characteristic city landscape. Therefore it is a system carrying city's environment sustainable development.

Consumer Perception of Chatbots and Purchase Intentions: Anthropomorphism and Conversational Relevance

  • In this study, we aimed to define the effects of anthropomorphism and conversational relevance of chatbots on user experience. In specific, the chatbot designed for this study was an online shopping assistant that recommends items for consumers. Levels of anthropomorphism was manipulated by the name, profile picture, word choices, and emojis, while conversational relevance was adjusted by the depth and accuracy of the recommendation. Three categories of user experience were measured: psychological distance, usability, and purchase intentions. The results implied a significant main effect of conversational relevance on all variables for the high anthropomorphized conditions, while all but psychological distance was significant for low anthropomorphized conditions. Although there was no significant main effect of anthropomorphism observed for the variables, the main effect of anthropomorphism on responsibility was marginally significant for a specific item. The results of this study may function as a guidance for future studies regarding usage of chatbots within a marketing setting.

크랭크샤프트계의 윤활 및 마찰 특성에 미치는 밸런스 웨이트의 영향 (The Effect of Balance Weight on the Lubrication and Friction Characteristics of Crankshaft System)

  • This paper reports on the balance weight effect on the lubrication and friction characteristics of crankshaft system. To determine the main bearing loads, the crankshaft was treated as statically determinate system. Four and eight-balance weight crankshafts were considered, and minimum oil film thickness and friction loss were calculated. The main bearing loads were increased in the four-balance shaft due to the increasing of unbalanced rotating mass at No. 1 and 3 main bearing sides. The minimum oil film thickness of four-balance shaft became thinner than eight-balance, and friction loss was increased.

  • In this study, the effect of thickness of sprayed fireproofing on temperature of main bars under fire test was investigated for high strength concrete member(column) prevented the spalling. The thicknesses of sprayed fireproofing were 0, 10, 20 and 30mm. Test was carried out according to ISO-KS standard temperature-time curve during 3hrs. Based on temperature results of main bars after 3hrs, it appears that the temperatures of the main coner bar are about 400$^{circ}C$ and 500$^{circ}C$, when the thicknesses of sprayed fireproofing are 5mm and 2mm, respectively.
