Changes in the Energy Landscape from Multi-Level Perspective: A Case Study of the Photovoltaic Module Carbon Certification System (다층적 관점에서 바라본 에너지경관의 변동: 태양광 모듈 탄소인증제를 사례로)

  • This study examined changes in the energy landscape, focusing on the photovoltaic module carbon certification system. As the global photovoltaic market has been reorganized around Chinese companies, the South Korean government has pushed to strengthen the competitiveness of the nation's photovoltaic industry. However, a limitation remains in that the government-led effort was not sufficient to bring about dynamic changes in the energy landscape. Against this backdrop, this study explored the stages leading to the multi-level perspectives of "macro-environment, socio-technical regime, and niche" to track the process of the government and domestic photovoltaic companies as part of a socio-technical regime responding to global market changes. In particular, this study raised an issue with the conceptual discussion of multi-level perspective, which placed a particular emphasis on the rate of change at each level and the niche in which innovative experiments take place, and thus attempted to fill this gap by tracking the energy landscape that varies differently from space. These spatial discussions can track different carbon emissions coefficients and industrial characteristics for each country, and have a higher level of explanatory power for the system thus constructed. In addition, through discussions on the problems and implications of the government-led introduction of renewable energy policies, this study suggests the need to create and implement a field-oriented system.

A 32${\times}$32-b Multiplier Using a New Method to Reduce a Compression Level of Partial Products (부분곱 압축단을 줄인 32${\times}$32 비트 곱셈기)

  • A high speed multiplier is essential basic building block for digital signal processors today. Typically iterative algorithms in Signal processing applications are realized which need a large number of multiply, add and accumulate operations. This paper describes a macro block of a parallel structured multiplier which has adopted a 32$\times$32-b regularly structured tree (RST). To improve the speed of the tree part, modified partial product generation method has been devised at architecture level. This reduces the 4 levels of compression stage to 3 levels, and propagation delay in Wallace tree structure by utilizing 4-2 compressor as well. Furthermore, this enables tree part to be combined with four modular block to construct a CSA tree (carry save adder tree). Therefore, multiplier architecture can be regularly laid out with same modules composed of Booth selectors, compressors and Modified Partial Product Generators (MPPG). At the circuit level new Booth selector with less transistors and encoder are proposed. The reduction in the number of transistors in Booth selector has a greater impact on the total transistor count. The transistor count of designed selector is 9 using PTL(Pass Transistor Logic). This reduces the transistor count by 50% as compared with that of the conventional one. The designed multiplier in 0.25${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ technology, 2.5V, 1-poly and 5-metal CMOS process is simulated by Hspice and Epic. Delay is 4.2㎱ and average power consumes 1.81㎽/MHz. This result is far better than conventional multiplier with equal or better than the best one published.

  • To follow in change and the development which circumference environment of education are quick even from scene of education students form the structure of knowledge themselves, the place where own lead studying of personal small group studying is emphasized, here upon specialist learning activity there is a wild possibility in the model which is suitable. But, studying of the learning paper was most center mainly the specialist learning activity of existing, it solves a learning problem at unit hour to, the hour was too insufficient to solve and it became plentifully at block time. But, this is to the curriculum operation and or the schedule operation it is when trying to consider the intensive degree of learning the elementary student, a problem point there is. It grasps the strong point and a weak point of specialist learning activity model of existing from the research which consequently, it sees and it applies more efficiently from web base study to establish the instructional strategy for, it composed the modules which strengthen the interaction of learning subject for. Also, unit macro learning and block time learning in order to do to become accomplished at web with studying problem, it will be able to solve inside unit hour in order, specialist teaching-learning system based on the web. It developed, after applied in the electrification S elementary school 5 grades which will reach the result, it analyzed.
