The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to increase life satisfaction of middle-aged people by verifying the influence relationship between appearance satisfaction and life satisfaction and the mediating effect of interpersonal relationships. The subjects of the survey were middle-aged people aged 50 to 64, and data were collected through online and offline surveys for 10 days from August 15, 2021, focusing on the metropolitan area. Frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, PROCESS MACRO Model Number 4, and Bootstrapping were conducted using statistical programs SPSS WIN 25.0 and PROCESS MACRO. The results of the study showed that first, the appearance satisfaction of the middle-aged had a positive (+) effect on life satisfaction. Second, interpersonal relationships had a partial mediating effect. Based on the results, it is meaningful in that it presented practical and policy suggestions that can increase appearance satisfaction and interpersonal relationships in improving life satisfaction of middle-aged people.

In this paper single degree of freedom macro-element model was presented to investigate the interaction between soil and the deep foundation under the lateral loads. It was made by modelling each component related to the soil-structure interaction and combining them into one piece. It enhanced the conventional method that was not able to break down the interaction components in piece due to the usage of simple spring element for interaction. A proposed macro-element classified the stress components in relation to the interaction into frictional and compressive resistance. Each component was modelled using the classical plasticity theory, and finally combined in parallel. An example study was carried out using the proposed macro-element for deep foundation embedded in three layered cohesive soil. It showed improved results compared to the conventional method by producing additional information of the interaction components as well as the overall behavior of foundation.

In this paper, Fengshui Theory Analysis Eunpyeong-New Town. The analysis frame is man and nature integrated, suit one measures to local conditions, analysis of macro environment site selection, analysis of micro environment site selection, analysis of traffic lines, orientations of residential analysis. The result is as follows: The analysis of the macro environment site selection of Eunpyeong-New Town at Northwest Mountain shape is open, so in the winter exposure of the northwest there is wind. Therefore, according to Fengshui there is a bad pattern formation. Analysis of the macro environment site selection has four animal frames seperated into two districts. The result is district one has "bad" ground. District two uses Bibo to restore small brooks so the formation has "good" ground. Finally, we use Fengshui of Bibo to propose solutions.

Recently, solutions to accommodate explosively growing mobile data traffic have attracted intensive attentions since the emergence of high-performance smartphones. Spectrum which can be exploited for mobile communications is very limited. Thus, femto cell is considered as an alternative because it can efficiently offload mobile data traffic from macro cells without using additional spectrum. In this paper, we mathematically analyzed the coverage of femto cell when it is deployed in an area where there exists signals from existing macro base stations. Our numerical results indicate that the coverage of femto cell increases as the total power of femto cell increases or the ratio of power allocated to pilot channel increases. However, it is also shown that the coverage of femto cell is very limited despite its high power when interference signals from macro base stations are strong.

This study was conducted with a view to examining the determinants of the public library budget in the local governments of south korea. To the end, this study used the public library budget data and macro/micro environments data of 167 local governments in 2017. The analysis results shows that the determinants which have an effect on the public library budget are metropolitan area, the level of education, the population size of young adults in terms of the macro environment, and the number of users, books, and librarians in terms of the micro environment.

최근 다변량자료분석과 관련하여 이를 시스템으로 구현하려는 연구가 다양한 각도로 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 연구들의 공통적인 특징은 일반 사용자들에게 고급 통계분석기법을 편리하게 활용할 수 있도록 GUI(Graphical User Interface) 환경의 시스템을 제공해 준 것이다. 이런 연구의 연장선상에서 본 연구에서는 다변량자료분석 시스템을 구현하는데 있어 사회 각 분야에서 가장 널리 활용되고 있는 사무용 프로그램인 마이크로소프트(Microsoft) Excel을 활용하여 일반 사용자들도 다변량분석을 쉽게 활용할 수 있도록 대화식 시스템을 개발하였다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of the job environment of nursing care workers on organizational commitment and to verify the mediating effect of job satisfaction based on this. Data collection was conducted on 340 nursing care workers, centering on elderly care facilities in Gyeonggi-do, and the uncollected questionnaires and abnormalities were removed and the final 267 were selected as the subjects of the study. Data analysis results were derived through SPSS WIN 2.0 and PROCESS Macro V3.5, and Hayes (2013)'s Macro Model Number 4 was applied to verify the mediating effect of job satisfaction. As a result of the analysis, the partial mediating effect of the job satisfaction was confirmed in the effect of the job environment of the caregiver on organizational commitment. Based on the analysis results, practical and policy suggestions for improving the job environment and increasing job satisfaction of nursing caregivers, and follow-up studies were proposed to overcome the limitations of this study.

Recently, there have been several studies to develop the multivariate data analysis system which can be readily used. The common characteristic of these studies is to develop the GUI system to which advanced statistical methods can be conveniently applied. In an extension of these studies, this study aims to supply users in various fields an interactive system with the convenience of the environment of GUI, which is constructed with the Excel macro and VBA, to apply multivariate data analysis methods easily. This system provides a graphic-oriented and menu-centered user interface in the Microsoft Excel which is widely used spreadsheet and analysis program.

The purpose of this paper is to test the market timing hypothesis and impact of macro economic variables on capital structure choice as well as the traditional static trade-off and pecking order theories of capital structure in a integrated framework. Through a two stage test of target capital structure and capital structure choice, none of theories was consistently supported, but most of them were partly supported. In the first stage analysis of target ratio, coefficients of firm-specific variables generally supported the predictions of pecking order theory rather than those of the static trade-off theory. However, the result of the second stage test on capital structure choice supported the hypothesis of the static trade-off theory, which claims that firms usually set and pursue the target leverage ratio. Further, the result of the seconde stage shows that a simple pecking oder theory does not hold because firms with deficit of internal fund tend to issue bonds rather than stocks to raise outside fund. Also, the result indicates that the market timing hypothesis holds because firms with over-valued stocks tend to issue stocks rather than bonds. However, contrary to Korajczyk and Levy(2003), the impact of macro economic variables such as term or credit spreads on capital structure choice was negligible, and the impact of macro economic and market timing hypothesis variables were not greater in financially unconstrained firms as Korajczyk and Levy(2003) suggested.

Our current study aimed to verify the mediating effect of growth mindset and grit in the relationship between human rights victimization and self-esteem. The survey was conducted on 233 college students. Reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and Macro Process were performed, and bootstrap method was used to verify the mediating effect of growth mindset and grit. The results were as follows. First, human right victimization were significantly and negatively correlated with self-esteem, growth mindset, and grit while self-esteem were significantly and positively correlated with growth mindset, and grit. Second, as a result of path analysis, the human rights victimization had a significant negative impact on self-esteem, growth mindset and grit. On the other hand, growth mindset and grit had a significant positive effect on self-esteem. Third, growth mindset and grit had a mediating effect in the relationship between human right victimization and self-esteem. This implied that self-esteem of college students can be increased by increasing their growth mindset and grit. Future research is needed to clarify the role of human rights research and growth mindset and self - esteem in college students.
