  • This paper reports the development of a special impact fatigue test machine for high pressure vessels. The targeted vessels are subjected to shock pressures equivalent of explosions. This severe loading condition brings many difficulties to the design of test machine. Unfortunately, there are very rare such test machine in the world, and more worse, the machine is not opened and sold.

  • 본 논문은 인터넷을 이용한 원격 기계상태 모니터링 시스템을 구현하고 실험하였다. 인터넷을 이용한 원격 기계상태 모니터링 시스템은 일반 회사에서 많은 비용과 인력이 소모되는 것을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있어 비용과 시간이 절약되는 장점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 기계상태 모니터링을 위한 프로토콜과 응용 프로그램 및 기계상태 측정 단말기를 개발하여 실험하고 그 결과에 대해 논의한다. 본 연구는 향 후 인터넷 원격 기계상태 모니터링 시스템에 대한 발전에 기여 할 것으로 생각된다. 마지막으로 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템이 실험을 통해 좋은 성능을 보여 주었고 또한 상용화의 가능성을 제시해 주었다.

레그 익스텐션 기구의 설계 및 구조해석 (Design and Structural Analysis of Leg Extension Machine)

  • 본 논문에서는 레그 익스텐션 기구의 안정성을 평가하기 위하여 3차원 유한요소 해석 코드인 ANSYS를 활용하여 구조해석을 실시하였다. 레그 익스텐션 기구를 제작함에 있어서 기존의 기구를 보완하고 운동효과의 향상, 안정성을 고려하여 설계하였다. 또한 레그 익스텐션 기구의 회전봉의 각도를 0°-360°까지 회전 가능하게 설계하여 운동하는 사람의 운동 강도를 조절할 수 있는 새로운 기구를 설계하였다.

  • A Study is a experiment which is figure out to aptimum discharge cutting condition of the surfaceroughness, electric discharging speed and electro wear ratio with Ton Toff and V(voltage) as an input condition according to the current(Ip) in an electric spark machine ; 1)Electrode is utilized Cu(coper) and Graphite. 2)Work piece is used the material of carbon steel. The condition of experiment is; 1)Current is varied 0.7(A) to 50(A). 2)Pulse time(Ton) is varied 3($\mu$s) to 240($\mu$s) and also Toff is varied 7($\mu$s) to 20($\mu$s). 3)The time of electric discharging to work piece in each time is 30(min) to 60(min) 4)After the upper side of work piece was measured in radius (5${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$) of syulus analyzed the surface roughness to made the table and graph of Rmax by yielding data. 5)Electro wear ratio is; \circled1Coper was measured cx-machining and post machining but the electronic baiance. \circled2The ex-machining of graphite measured by it, the post-machining was found the data from volume specific gravity and analyzed to made its table and graph on ground the data 6)In order to keep the accuracy of voltage affected to the work piece was equipped with the A.V.R(Automatic Voltage Regulator). 7)The memory scope was sticked to the electric spark machine. 8)In order to preserve the precision of current, to get rid of the noise occured by internal resistance of electric spark machine and to force injecting for the discharge fluid, it made the fixed table for a work piece to minimize the work error by means of one's failure during the electric discharging According to above results, the surface roughness by the variation of electrodw and current was analyzed to compare KS(Korea Standards) It was decided the optimum condition of electric discharge cutting through analyzing the effect of electric discharge speed and electro wear ratio.

  • Unwanted vibrations are inevitably induced in other directions when pure unidirectional vibration motion is desired for the vertical scratching mechanism. Pure vertical vibration motion of the scratching machine can be obtained by driving identical two motors with symmetrically positioned eccentric unbalance masses. The desired optimal condition for driving pure vertical vibration for the scratching machine is assumed to be the resonance condition in that direction. Imposing the flexibility of the scratching machine in the horizontal direction, we can find out the amount of horizontal vibration component while maintaining the resonance in vertical direction. The desired stiffness in horizontal direction which produces the minimum vibration in horizontal direction are defined which can be used as a guide line to design the supporting structure of the scratching machine.

기어 그라인딩 장비 가공조건 최적화에 대한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Research for the Optimization of the Gear Grinding Machine's Operating Condition)

  • To improve the gear noise quality, gear tooth grinding machine are widely used in automotive industry. While using the gear profile grinding machine to improve the gear tooth quality of the transmission, several defects such as chattering, tooth waves that cause the gear noise occasionally happened. But it is very difficult to solve that problem, because there is no one who knows the setting up the optimal grinding condition appropriately. The abnormal manufacturing conditions which make the gear noise make the engineer to spend a lot of time, effort, and money. Due to demands for solving the serious abnormal gear noise happened in the new FF 6th stage automatic transmission in the mass product stage, the vibration checking process in the worm wheel axis, work rotation and fixed axis of the grinding machine were adapted to find the root causes. As a result, gear profile wave are affected by the work rotation axis's unbalance which is caused by worm wheel feeding speed. And a primary and the secondary grinding feeding speed, cutting oil, work fixed forces are also proved as the important factors. After setting up the grinding condition reported in this paper, it was adapted successfully to the grinding machine to manufacture the new FF 6th speed automatic transmissions' output gear. The gear noise was dramatically disappeared and the process and results will offer good guides to the engineers who manufacture the gear with the grinding machine.

  • One of the important trends for condition monitoring in the 21st century is the development of smart sensors that will permit the cost-effective continuous monitoring of key machine equipments. In this study, an integrated in-line oil monitoring sensor assigned for continuous in situ monitoring multiple parameters of oil performance is presented. The sensor estimates oil deterioration based on the information about chemical degradation, total contamination, water content of oil and oil temperature. The oil oxidation is estimated by "chromatic ratio", total contamination is measured by the changes in optical density of oil in three optical wave-bands ('Red', 'Green' and 'Blue') and water content is evaluated as relative saturation of oil by water. In order to evaluate the sensor's effectiveness, the sensor was applied to several used oil samples in steel making industry and the results were compared with those measured by standard test methods.

  • Electronic Weighting Machine is used an electronic scale which has many trouble because of broken load cells. In this paper, we propose an intelligent Diagnosis System will for an electronic weighting machine using fuzzy logic. It's purpose be detect of the load cell's trouble. The electronic circuit of system, which call 'junction box', will be connected resistances in a series at circuit of Wheatstone Bridge for monitoring the condition of load cells.

XGB 및 LGBM을 활용한 Ti-6Al-4V 적층재의 변형 거동 예측 (Predicting Deformation Behavior of Additively Manufactured Ti-6Al-4V Based on XGB and LGBM)

  • The present study employed two different machine-learning approaches, the extreme gradient boosting (XGB) and light gradient boosting machine (LGBM), to predict a compressive deformation behavior of additively manufactured Ti-6Al-4V. Such approaches have rarely been verified in the field of metallurgy in contrast to artificial neural network and its variants. XGB and LGBM provided a good prediction for elongation to failure under an extrapolated condition of processing parameters. The predicting accuracy of these methods was better than that of response surface method. Furthermore, XGB and LGBM with optimum hyperparameters well predicted a deformation behavior of Ti-6Al-4V additively manufactured under the extrapolated condition. Although the predicting capability of two methods was comparable, LGBM was superior to XGB in light of six-fold higher rate of machine learning. It is also noted this work has verified the LGBM approach in solving the metallurgical problem for the first time.
