The pitch tracking of music has been researched for several decades. Several possible improvements are available for creating a good t-distribution, using the instantaneous robust algorithm for pitch tracking framework to perfectly detect pitch. This article shows how to detect the pitch of music utilizing an improved detection method which applies a statistical method; this approach uses a pitch track, or a sequence of frequency bin numbers. This sequence is used to create an index that offers useful features for comparing similar songs. The pitch frequency spectrum is extracted using a modified instantaneous robust algorithm for pitch tracking (IRAPT) as a base combined with the statistical method. The pitch detection algorithm was implemented, and the percentage of performance matching in Thai classical music was assessed in order to test the accuracy of the algorithm. We used the longest common subsequence to compare the similarities in pitch sequence alignments in the music. The experimental results of this research show that the accuracy of retrieval of Thai classical music using the t-distribution of instantaneous robust algorithm for pitch tracking (t-IRAPT) is 99.01%, and is in the top five ranking, with the shortest query sample being five seconds long.

We propose an algorithm to update weight to use the mean square error method and mutual coupling matrix in a coherent channel. The algorithm proposed in this paper estimates the desired signal by using the updated weight. The updated weight is obtained by covariance matrix using mean square error and mutual coupling matrix. The MUSIC algorithm, which is direction of arrival estimation method, is mostly used in the desired signal estimation. The MUSIC algorithm has a good resolution because it uses subspace techniques. The proposed method estimates the desired signal by updating the weights using the mutual coupling matrix and mean square error method. Through simulation, we analyze the performance by comparing the classical MUSIC and the proposed algorithm in a coherent channel. In this case of the coherent channel for estimating at the three targets (-10o, 0o, 10o), the proposed algorithm estimates all the three targets (-10o, 0o, 10o). But the classical MUSIC algorithm estimates only one target (x, x, 10o). The simulation results indicate that the proposed method is superior to the classical MUSIC algorithm for desired signal estimation.

In this paper, design of MUSIC algorithm, which is one of high resolution DOA (direction of arrival) estimation techniques was studied. Generally the complex-valued correlation matrix of MUSIC algorithm is transformed to unitary matrix or matrix expansion for the real hardware implementation. Using the orthogonality between the noise subspace eigenvectors and the steering vectors corresponding to signal component, we estimate DOA with the real-valued computation between steering vectors and noise subspace eigenvectors. The DOA algorithm was designed with VHDL models with considerations of 2 elements and 1 incident wave and its simulation results are derived.

The jamming countermeasures in GNSS includes anti-jamming technique and jammer localization technique. In both techniques, direction of jamming signal is important and generally the MUSIC algorithm is used to find the direction of jamming signal. The MUSIC is super-resolution algorithm for detecting incident direction of signal. But, the search time of MUSIC algorithm is too long because all candidates of incidence angle are searched. This paper proposes the new method that has less computational burdens and therefore faster than the conventional MUSIC algorithm. The proposed method improves performance speed by reducing unnecessary calculations. In the proposed method, the cost function of conventional MUSIC algorithm is decomposed into the sum of squares and if the partial sum of cost function is larger than the minimum cost function so far, then the candidate is rejected and next candidates are searched. If the computed cost function is less than the minimum cost function so far, the minimum cost function so far is replaced with newly computed value. The performance of the proposed method was compared with the conventional MUSIC algorithm using the simulation. The accuracy of the estimaed direction of jamming signal was same as the conventional MUSIC while the search speed of the proposed method was 1.15 times faster than the conventional MUSIC.
This research paper describes how to summarize music lyrics using the TextRank algorithm. This method can summarize music lyrics as important lyrics. Therefore, we recommend music more effectively than analyzing the number of words and recommending music.

This paper address the statistical charateristics of MUSIC algorithm which is suggested as satellite direction finding algorithm. If the MUSIC algorithm is adopted as a satellite direction detection method in mobile TT&C system, then the statistical performance of the MUSIC algorithm will be closely related with the overall performance of the system. So statistical characteristics of the parameter in the respect of SNR and data length are addressed and then analyse the final effects to the satellite direction finding.

In this study, the proposed algorithm is a correlativity signal in a mobile wireless channel that has estimated the direction of arrival. The proposed algorithm applied the space average method in a MUSIC algorithm. The diagonal matrix of the space average method was changed to inverse the matrix and to obtain a new signal correlation matrix. The existing algorithm was analyzed and compared by applying a proposed signal correlation matrix to estimate the direction of arrival in a MUSIC algorithm. The experiment resulted in a proposed algorithm with a min-norm method resolution at more than $5^{\circ}$. It improved more than $2^{\circ}$ in a MUSIC algorithm.

In this paper, we studied to direction of arrival (DoA) estimation to use DoA and optimum weight algorithms in coherent interference channels. The DoA algorithm have been considerable attention in signal processing with coherent signals and a limited number of snapshots in a noise and an interference environment. This paper is a proposed method for the desired signal estimation using MUSIC algorithm and adaptive beamforming to compare classical subspace techniques. Also, the proposed method is combined the updated weight value with LCMV beamforming algorithm in adaptive antenna array system for direction of arrival estimation of desired signal. The proposed algorithm can be used with combination to MUSIC algorithm, linearly constrained minimum variance beamforming (LCMV) and the weight value method to accurately desired signal estimation. Through simulation, we compare the proposed method with classical direction of in order to desired signals estimation. We show that the propose method has achieved good resolution performance better that classical direction arrival estimation algorithm. The simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
In this paper, we suggest new music composition algorithm based on fractal theory. User can define and control fractal shape by setting an initial state and production rules in L-System. We generate an asymmetric fractal tree based on L-System and probability. Then a music is generated by the fractal tree image using sonification techniques. We introduce two composition algorithm using the fractal tree. First, monophonic music can be generated by mapping x and y axis to velocity and pitch, respectively Second, harmonic music also can be generated by mapping x and y axis to time and pitch, respectively Using our composition algorithm, user can easily generate a music which has repeated pattern created by recursive feature of fractal, and a music which has structure similar to fractal tree image.
This paper presents an algorithm for the automatic detection of chord names, scales and tonalities from music file, expressed in MusicXML format which has enough information to determine harmonies vertically like 4-part choir. Chord names are absolute names which can be used and analysed independently of the tonality An algorithm selecting the best chord name is described, which can decide the most appropriate one from ambiguous situations. Candidate musical scales are extracted using the notes in a given time window. The tonalities of the music are determined using the chord names and candidate scales. The final output format of the process is also MusicXML file with chord names, marked non-harmonic notes, relative harmonic symbols and tonalities.
