  • 본 논문에서는 이미지 분류에 쓰이는 최신 모델로 CNN과 ImageNet을 기반으로 한 EfficientNet을 활용해서 Square, Oval, Oblong, Round, Heart 총 다섯 가지의 얼굴 모양으로 분류하는 task에 두 가지 데이터로 실험해보고 추가적으로 Image Augmentation 기법을 활용해 성능향상을 보였다.

  • The creep life fraction can be evaluated by the degree of grain deformation since the grain of Cr-Mo base metal deforms in the direction of stress. The grain deformation method using image processing technique is developed for life assessment of in-service high-temperature components. The new assessment model of grain deformation method is presented to apply to in-service components and is verified by interrupted creep test for ex-serviced material of 1Cr-0.5Mo steel. The proposed model, which is irrespective of stress direction, is to evaluate mean of the absolute deviation for the measured ratios which are diametrical maximum to minimum dimensions for grains.

  • The study background is that Mo-Jung happens as the produce of the agricultural society but it is not easy to find it beside Ho-nam area. Because of this, it results construction has. The study progress is to understand the happening time, and regional cause the Mo-Jung construction has. The study progress is to understand the happening time of Mo-Jung, constructional meaning, and the meaning of Mo-Jung with the investigation method of literature consideration of the village society, data of the existing study, survey investigation, interview, and question through the process of analyzing the characteristics of differentiation of the village and Dure organization. 1. Mo-Jung construction has the meaning of vernacular construction reflecting the meaning of village community intensively as an element comprising the village, and the territory of Mo-Jung space is revealed as the male space. 2. The economic wealth of the village community and the image reflecting the community sense are stood out. 3. It is the reason why Mo-Jung construction is limited to Ho-nam area and is explained as the life style difference each village community has, the regional characteristic difference Dae-dong play of Yong.Ho-nam areas have, etc. so to speak. 4. It is estimated that the happening time of Mo-Jung is after the 18th century when the agricultural As my suggestion, Mo-Jung construction is the construction phenomenon reflecting the phenomenon of social change directly and it is to suggest the possibility of approaching the regional housing construction as the life style difference the life community of each area has is reflected. production quantity was increased and Dure organization was activated.

  • We attempt to combines concepts of Morphological Operator(MO) and Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN) to improve image-to-image translation. To do this, we propose an operation that approximates morphological operations. Also we propose S-Convolution, an operation that extends the operation to use multiple filters like CNN. The experiment result shows that it can learn MO with big filter using multiple S-convolution layer of small filter. To validate effectiveness of the proposed layer in image-to-image translation we experiment with GAN with S-convolution applied. The result showed that GAN with S-convolution can achieve distinct result from that of GAN with CNN.

Change of Dose Exposure and Improvement of Image Quality by Additional Filtration in Mammography (유방촬영용장치 부가필터에 따른 선량변화 및 화질개선)

  • Recently, the interest on exposure to radiation is rising. The radiation exposure of mammography is higher in absorbed dose than of X-ray, therefore unnecessary exposure needs to be reduced, and higher image quality is needed. Generally, ray quality of the radiation imaging is an important factor that determines image quality and the amount of ray exposure, and they are affected by tube voltage and added filter. The X-ray energy that is exposed from mammography device is generally a continuous spectrum, which includes low energy that has minute influence on the image quality, and high energy that hinders contrast on image. Currently, molybdenum (Mo) and rhodium (Rh) are the most used added filters for mammography device, and they are used differently according to the energy region of X-ray. This study aims to find out the degree of reduction in exposure dose according to the thickness of aluminum (Al), and to study the changes in image quality and dose when the added filter plates that are made with niobium (Nb) or zirconium (Zr) are used, other than molybdenum (Mo) and rhodium (Rh), the two most used added filters that have similar atomic number and K-absorption regions as Nb and Zr. In this study, single-added filters of molybdenum (Mo), niobium (Nb), and zirconium (Zr) are used, and in some cases, Aluminum (Al) is combined with the single filters. In this case, image quality is considered to be improved depending on the type of added filters, and by using Aluminum (Al) filter together with the others, unnecessary X-ray of low energy would be absorbed, therefore the dose is expected to decrease without any influence when the concentration level becomes identical.

A Study on the Actual Conditions and Characteristics of Mammographic Units in Some Area (일부지역 유방촬영장치의 현황 및 특성에 관한 연구)

  • Of this study, it was found that there were 250 mammographic units in total installed and used in the areas for this study, and 36 units were used in general hospitals, 53 units in hospitals and 116 units in clinics. That is, the units in clinics accounted for 50% out of the whole units. As for the image acquisition method, it was found there were 131 units using F/S, 67 units using CR and 7 units using DR respectively. At present, F/S system was mainly used in the areas. As for the materials of target/filter, it was found that Mo/Mo was mostly used (66%), followed by Mo/Rh (25%). As for the size of focus, both 0.1 mm for small focus and 0.3 mm for large focus were mainly used for the units.

Observation of Densification Behavior during the Sintering of Ni-added $MoSi_2$ Powder Compacts (Ni을 첨가한 $MoSi_2$분말성형체의 소결시 치밀화거동의 관찰)

  • The activated sintering behavior of $MoSi_2$ powder compacts with addition of 0.5 and 1.0 wt.%Ni during the sintering under As atmosphere was studied. The shrinkage was measured and the microstructures were observed by SEM (scanning electron microscopy) and BEI (backscattered electron image) along with the phase analysis by EDS during heating up to 155$0^{\circ}C$ and holding for various time at 155$0^{\circ}C$. The most of shrinkage occurred upon heating and 92% of theoretical density was attained after sintering for 1 hr at 155$0^{\circ}C$. However, little shrinkage ensued even for prolonged sintering over 1 hr at 155$0^{\circ}C$. A liquid film formed at about 135$0^{\circ}C$ along necks and grain boundaries. The polyhedral grain structure composed of $(Mo,Ni)_5Si_3$and $Ni_2Si$ across the $MoSi_2$ grain boundary developed at 155$0^{\circ}C$. It was concluded that the activated sintering of $MoSi_2$ powder by Ni led to the diffusion of Si into Ni decreasing the liquidus temperature and the enhanced diffusion of Mo and Si through such a liquid phase and/or interboundary of $(Mo,Ni)_5Si_3$.

Non-Traumatic Myositis Ossificans in the Lumbosacral Paravertebral Muscle

  • Myositis ossificans (MO) is a benign condition of non-neoplastic heterotopic bone formation in the muscle or soft tissue. Trauma plays a role in the development of MO, thus, non-traumatic MO is very rare. Although MO may occur anywhere in the body, it is rarely seen in the lumbosacral paravertebral muscle (PVM). Herein, we report a case of non-traumatic MO in the lumbosacral PVM. A 42-year-old man with no history of trauma was referred to our hospital for pain in the low back, left buttock, and left thigh. On physical examination, a slightly tender, hard, and fixed mass was palpated in the left lumbosacral PVM. Computed tomography showed a calcified mass within the left lumbosacral PVM. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed heterogeneous high signal intensity in T1- and T2-weighted image, and no enhancement of the mass was found in the postcontrast T1-weighted MRI. The lack of typical imaging features required an open biopsy, and MO was confirmed. MO should be considered in the differential diagnosis when the imaging findings show a mass involving PVM. When it is difficult to distinguish MO from soft tissue or bone malignancy by radiology, it is necessary to perform a biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.

Advanced Liver Segmentation by Using Pixel Ratio in Abdominal CT Image

  • In our study, by observing and analyzing normal liver in abdominal CT image, we estimated gray value range and generated binary image. In the binary image, we achieved the number of hole which is located between pixels. Depending on the ratio, we processed the input image to 4 kinds of mesh images to remove the noise part that has the different ratio. With the Union image of 4 kinds of mesh images, we generated the template representing general outline of liver and subtracted from the binary image so the we can represent the organ boundary to be minute. With results of proposed method, processing time is reduced compared with existing method and we compared the result image to manual image of medical specialists.
