  • XCAP(XML Configuration Access Protocol) which has been proposed in IETF is based on both XML and HTTP protocol. XCAP server maintains user's configuration information for specific application which is described by XML. This protocol can be applied to many application servers for adapting user's preferences. There can be many way to interwork with other application servers. In this paper, we will talk about the experience of designing and implementation of XCAP server and the way of interwork with application servers.

YANG, Jung-Ung: A Global Stylist of the Theatrical Aesthetics (공감각적 미장센의 글로벌 무대미학: 연출가 양정웅)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the theatrical aesthetics of the performances which was produced by the theater director, Yang Jung-Ung. Yang has been one of the most influential directors working in Korea in the last 15 years. He has put up performances all over the world with the theater members from his company called Yohangza, which was founded by him in 1997, and working as the director, portrayed his style of the theatrical aesthetics through the works of its plays and musical products. In 2012, this company performed A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. A Midsummer Night's Dream was invited to be staged at the Barbican Center in 2006. In the same year, it received the grand prize and the Audience Choice award at the Gdansk International Shakespeare Festival in Poland. The musical products like A Good Woman from Seoul and the modern Opera Wozeck are representative works of Yohangza, which are known for a unique way of exploring the meaning of life. The 2009 plays Hamlet and Peer Gynt represent Yohangza's simpler yet more insightful theatrical style. Peer Gynt, which debuted at the LG Art Center, made headlines for its innovative staging. It received the grand prix, Best Director and Best Stage Art awards at the 2009 Korea Theater Awards. Yohangza's plays show two-side "image-based" works. The company drastically reduced verbal lines and enriched the plays with Korean sentiment and aesthetics, but their scripts contained many poetic lines full of overtones. They showed a theatrical mise-en-scene of images, energetic dance, songs in chorus and percussion. For example, Korean sentiments were subtly blended into the two Shakespeare's plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Twelfth Nights. Their performance combines music, mime, song and dance to create an exhilarating adaptation of Shakespeare's inventive and glittering comedy. In addition, the style of Yohangza Theatre Company is a collision of the past and the present: a reworking of existing Korean styles and themes infused with contemporary elements and full of unique exploration in the plays.

Review on Clinical Studies of Facial Palsy Sequelae Treatment (연구안면마비 후유증 치료에 대한 국내외 임상연구 고찰)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study is to review clinical studies of facial palsy sequelae treatment Methods : We used search engines such as PUBMED, OASIS, RISS. We limited sequelae as the cases after three months from the onset. We excluded the studies including operational treatments. We considered papers pubulished only after year 2000. Results : The kinds of treatments were acupunture treatment, physical therapy, Botulinum toxin, and steroids and antiviral agent. Four studies about acupuncture treatment were searched. Two were case studies and the other two were case series studies. Six studies about physical therapy were searched and they were devided into three according to their specific methods - neuromuscular training and biofeedback, electrical stimulation, and facial exercises. We reviewed three studies about Botulinum toxin and 3 studies about combined therapy. Conclusions : Evidence level of the acupuncture studies was not high. Neuromuscular retraining and biofeedback therapies were shown to be effective especially to synkinesis. Mime therapy, one of the facial exercise has significant effect. Electrical stimulation is thought to activate the plasticity of central nerve system. Botulimum Toxin has effective temporary treatment. Steroid therapy increases recovery rate and reduces sequelae.

  • 공간정보의 효율적 공유를 위해 인터넷 기반 GIS소프트웨어 개발 및 응용과 관련된 연구가 활발히 진행 중에 있다. 여러 인터넷 GIS의 기본적인 요구사항 및 현재까지 개발모델과 문제점을 살펴보고, 표준 인터넷 기술을 기반으로 최근 웹 기술 표준 동향을 포함한, OpenGIS상호 운용성이 지원되는 인터넷 GIS기본 구조를 제시하고자 한다. 표준화될 인터넷 GIS 속도 향상과 TCP/IP상의 보안문제가 해결되어야 하고, OpenGIS에서 구성하고 있는 공간 데이터 공유를 위한 표준 사양을 준수할 뿐 아니라 클라이언트/서버의 부하가 최적화된 구조여야한다. 특히 웹 중심의 각종 인터넷 기술들, 즉 HTTP NG. XML, SSL등의 표준 기술이 함께 적용되어야 한다. 새로운 인프라구조는 GIS D/B에 포함된 확장된 (Enhanced) HTTP/MAP 서버와 클라이언트로 구성된다. MAP클라이언트는 MIME-TYPE 에 따라 GIS데이터를 표시할 수 있는 윈도우 환경으로 변환되며 GIS 데이터셋은 XML을 기반으로 하는 MapML(Mapping Makup Language)를 통해 형식을 정한다. 클라이언트가 MapML 토큐먼트를 통해 정의된 구획의 레이어와 벡터 데이터를 요청하고, Map서버는GIS D/B에서 WKB 혹은 소위 VML 형태로 추출하여 클라이언트로 보내주게 된다. 주어진 구획은 MapML로 정의된 속성들을 통해 각종 부가 정보를 열람할 수 있다. MAP은 HTTP와 같은 형태로 동작하므로 전자인증, 암호화를 통한 GIS정보 보안, 클라이언트와 서버 부하의 효율적인 분배 XML을 통한 다양한 GIS속성표현이 가능하다. 본 구조는 Apache +Amiya + Crass D/B+ MapML 환경에서 구현되고 있다.팔일 전송 기법을 각각 제시하고 실험을 통해 이들의 특성을 비교분석하였다.미에서 uronic acid 함량이 두 배 이상으로 나타났다. 흑미의 uronic acid 함량이 가장 많이 용출된 분획은 sodium hydroxide 부분으로서 hemicellulose구조가 polyuronic acid의 형태인 것으로 사료된다. 추출획분의 구성단당은 여러 곡물연구의 보고와 유사하게 glucose, arabinose, xylose 함량이 대체로 높게 나타났다. 점미가 수가용성분에서 goucose대비 용출함량이 고르게 나타나는 경향을 보였고 흑미는 알칼리가용분에서 glucose가 상당량(0.68%) 포함되고 있음을 보여주었고 arabinose(0.68%), xylose(0.05%)도 다른 종류에 비해서 다량 함유한 것으로 나타났다. 흑미는 총식이섬유 함량이 높고 pectic substances, hemicellulose, uronic acid 함량이 높아서 콜레스테롤 저하 등의 효과가 기대되며 고섬유식품으로서 조리 특성 연구가 필요한 것으로 사료된다.리하였다. 얻어진 소견(所見)은 다음과 같았다. 1. 모년령(母年齡), 임신회수(姙娠回數), 임신기간(姙娠其間), 출산시체중등(出産時體重等)의 제요인(諸要因)은 주산기사망(周産基死亡)에 대(對)하여 통계적(統計的)으로 유의(有意)한 영향을 미치고 있어 $25{\sim}29$세(歲)의 연령군에서, 2번째 임신과 2번째의 출산에서 그리고 만삭의 임신 기간에, 출산시체중(出産時體重) $3.50{\sim}3.99kg$사이의 아이에서 그 주산기사망률(周産基死亡率)이 각각 가장 낮았다. 2. 사산(死産)과 초생아사망(初生兒死亡)을 구분(區分)하여 고려해 볼때 사산(死産)은 모성(母

Structural Study on Dance Story-Telling (무용의 스토리텔링 구조연구)

  • This study aims to examine the physical language of dance art's acceptability of the discourse method of story-telling as a narrative discourse system from the view of story-telling of cultural contents. Dance, through the establishment of relationship between dancers and stage art, can form a discourse system with various literary devices including figures of speech, metaphors, and symbols. The argument over manifestation of dance's narrative components in the concept of story-telling is shown as follows; the background as an object can offer time and spatial backgrounds through stage art and the dancers' performance elements; and, for the character, the dancer himself can be the first-person-narrator and possibly makes plane personality descriptions. As for the elements of main affairs of dance, the stage art components present the background of primary motif of incident and the dancer's diverse relationships form conflicts through the correlation of solo dance, duet, and group dance. The plot as a process of developing the main affair is led by actant such as the dancer's mime actions, gestures, facial expressions, etc. The element of dance's revealing narration is the dance art itself and the developing structure of narration is the dance language's own grammar. Choreographers should compose persuasive dance texts to convey stories efficiently through character decisions, their actions, stage art's elements that display the time and spatial backgrounds, and the development of plot, as a narrative discourse of dance.

Effect of Green Tea(Camellia sinensins) and Maesil(Prunus mime) Extracts on Endogenous Formation of N-Nitrosodimethylamine (녹차 및 매실 추출물이 N-Nitrosodimethylamine의 생성에 미치는 영향)

  • The effects of nitrite scavenging. electron donating and N-nitrosodimethylamine(NDMA) formation in vitro arid green tea(Camellia sinensis) and Maesil(Prunus mume) were studied. The green tea and Maesil extracts were tested for their nitrite-scavenging effect under the different pH conditions such as pH 1.2, 4.2 aud 6.0. The effects of nitrite-scavenging in all concentrations were diminished in the alkali condition, while its effects in the acidic condition of pH 1.2 were reached of more than 99.0% by adding above 0.5ml of green tea extract. And also, nitrite-scavenging effect by adding 3ml of Maesil extract was about 77.0%. The electron donating ability(EDA) of green tea and Maesil extracts was 70.6%, 75.1%, respectively. The formation of NDMA was very effectiveness which was inhibited 82.1%, 73.2% at reaction mixture of pH 2.5 adding 3ml of above extracts. respectively . The ground CW. TW1 and TW2 (refer to Table 1) diets were incubated with 10m1 simulated saliva and 40m1 gastric juice at 37$^{\circ}C$ for 2hrs. NDMA formation was inhibited at all levels of green tea and Measil extracts.

A study on the controversy of the modernity of the Tsukiji Little Theater -With a focus on Kabuki, Shinpa, and Shingeki- (축지소극장의 근대성 문제에 대한 연구 -가부키(歌舞伎), 신파(新派), 신극(新劇)의 연관성-)

  • The purpose of this paper is to shed light onto the historical significance and limitations of the Tsukiji Little Theater's modern performances. The Tsukiji Little Theater holds a position of great importance to the history of both Japanese and Korean modern theater. Some, however, are under the completely opposite impression. There are also mixed opinions about whether the Tsukiji Little Theater is a "model example" of the modern theatrical movement or a "bad example". Based on this controversy, we look into the definitive characteristics of the Tsukiji Little Theater based mostly on "the controversy over translated foreign plays", "the controversy of foreign plays versus original plays", "the value of kabuki" and "Shinpa as a rival". This paper looked into the differences in controversy over translated foreign plays in the Tsukiji Little Theater and the controversy in existing translated foreign plays. It mostly looks at the "casuistry of foreign plays" and the "cultural engineering theory of foreign plays"to get a grasp on the controversy surrounding existing translated foreign plays. Meanwhile, the "internally critical meaning" towards the original plays of renowned writers was strong in the controversy of foreign plays in the Tsukiji Little Theater. Kaoru Osanai defined the 1920s as a dark period, and persisted that because of the activity of the Shingeki movement, foreign plays were needed instead of low-level original plays. This study examines the characteristics of original plays and foreign plays publicly performed at the Tsukiji Little Theater to analyze the "controversy of translated foreign plays versus original plays". The Tsukiji Little Theater mostly put on shows with a strong sense of resistance or that defied the old times. This caused there to be a lot of emphasis put on the rebellious mindset towards old conventions and ideologies for most of the plays, both foreign and original, and the problem arises that little mind was paid to the integrity or beauty of the works. In looking at the "value of kabuki", this paper looked into Kaoru Osanai, who was deeply involved in kabuki actors. He evaluated traditional Japanese arts highly not because of the literary value of their scripts, but because he recognized the value of how they were performed. In order to create a new spectacle, music, dance and mime was taken in from countries around the world, and kabuki was regarded highly as a means of expression on stage. Finally, we also examine the recognized reasons for treating Shinpa as a rival. There is a relationship between these reasons and a complex about the audiences they drew. The Shinpa performances always had many spectators and were successful, but those at the Tsukiji Little Theater were so unpopular with the public that it was hard for them to financially run their theater group. The empty seats in their theater constantly made the modern intellectuals in the Shingeki movement feel inferior.

Re-examining the Everday Play, Our Town in the COVID-19 Era (코로나 시대에서 바라본 일상극, 『우리 읍내』 재조명)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the characteristics and theatricality of everyday plays in Thornton Wilder's Our Town, and to re-examine this work that makes us recognize the importance of everyday life in the COVID-19 era. This work seeks to find a certain value in very trivial events with the subject matter of everyday life such as birth, love and marriage, and death. Grovers Corners, the background of this work, symbolizes the town and the universe where everyone lives today, and the action spans from 1901 to 1913, and this action shows universality in everyday life that takes place even today. Wilder won a second Pulitzer Prize for this work and is a leading figure in non-realist theater. Using an empty stage as the basic frame, this work shows theatricalism, a theory that acknowledges that the action on the stage is not true and shows that fact to the audience. In addition, he leads actors to act with mime instead of props, stimulating the audience's imagination and making them think of props that are not on stage as if they really exist. This work is an everyday play that makes people realize the importance of everyday life, and it has the effect of creating an opportunity for the audience to reflect on the play and life while keeping a distance.

Vertical Distribution of Heavy Metals in Paddy Soil Near Abandoned Metal Mines (폐금속광산 주변 논토양 중 중금속의 수직분포 특성)

  • To compare the relationship between the vertical distribution of heavy metals in paddy soil and soil pH near four abandoned metal mines, 40 paddy surface soils $(0{\sim}15\;cm)$ and 12 soils with soil depths ($0{\sim}20$, $20{\sim}40$, $40{\sim}60$, $60{\sim}80$ and $80{\sim}100$ cm) were collected. Both total and extractable heavy metal contents in soils were analyzed after acid digestion $(HNO_3:HClO_4:H_2SO_4)$ and 0.1 N-HCl extraction, respectively. The 0.1 N-HCl fraction ratio over total contents of Cd, Cu, Pb, and Zn were 57, 30, 23, and 19% respectively. Vertical distribution of heavy metals varied considerably among the different mines. In Choil mine, there was no difference in concentrations of all the metals with soil layers. However, Cu and Pb contents in Gahak mime were high at $0{\sim}20\;cm$ depth, and Zn was high at $0{\sim}40\;cm$ depth. In Sinyemi mine, Cd and Cu contents were high at $0{\sim}40\;cm$ depth. Cd, Cu, and Pb contents in Okcheon mine were high through all soil profiles up to 100 cm soil depth. The 0.1 N-HCl fraction ratio over total contents of heavy metals with soil layers were very high at $0{\sim}20\;cm$ depth. As soil depth increased, fraction ratio of heavy metals decreased at the high soil pH (Gahak, Sinyemi, and Choil mines). However, the ratios of Cd, Cu, and Pb in Okcheon mine, having a relatively lower soil pH than other sites, were relatively similar through all the soil profiles up to 100 cm soil depth. Therefore, it was estimated that the mobility and availability of heavy metals in soils were affected by soil pH.

C'est pour cette raison que la plupart des spectacles musicaux qui sont $cr{\acute{e}}es$ en $Cor{\acute{e}}e$ sont $destin{\acute{e}}s$ en faillite $d{\grave{e}}s$ la naissance. D'ailleurs les musicals $liscenci{\acute{e}}s$ par $l^{\prime}Am{\acute{e}}rique$, la France qui sont $mont{\acute{e}}s$ sur la $sc{\grave{e}}ne$ de $Cor{\acute{e}}e$ aujourd'hui sont assez pour nuire le $march{\acute{e}}$ $cor{\acute{e}}en$ $constitu{\acute{e}}$ autour de musical. Quels sont donc les $probl{\grave{e}}mes$ que posent les musicals $liscenci{\acute{e}}s$? $Premi{\grave{e}}rement$ ils encouragent la mime, pas la $cr{\acute{e}}ation$. En d'autre terme, les musicals $liscenci{\acute{e}}s$ que les $Cor{\acute{e}}ens$ montent sur la $sc{\grave{e}}ne$ ne sont pas les $cr{\acute{e}}ations$ propres chez les $Cor{\acute{e}}ens$, par contre, ces derniers sont $demand{\acute{e}}s$ de suivre ${\grave{a}}$ la mot les indications $dict{\acute{e}}es$ par le droit d'auteur. En fait le musical est devenu une chose important depuis des investigations immenses par le gouvernement $d^{\prime}Am{\acute{e}}rique$ pour donner des travails aux gens. Donc, $d{\grave{e}}s$ le $d{\acute{e}}but$, il n'y avait pas de $consid{\acute{e}}rations$ artistiques dans et sur le musical. Comme c'est par le commerce que le musical est $r{\acute{e}}pandu$, s'il y aura un $probl{\grave{e}}me$ quelconque, il est $tr{\grave{e}}s$ possible qu'on cherche ${\grave{a}}$ $r{\acute{e}}soudre$ le $probl{\grave{e}}me$ par la vue de commerce. En comprenant les $probl{\grave{e}}mes$ $mentionn{\acute{e}}s$ $l{\grave{a}}$-dessus, il faut $pr{\acute{e}}parer$ le changement de $march{\acute{e}}$ $cor{\acute{e}}enne$ de musical. Le moyen le plus $su{\hat{r}}$ de se $pr{\acute{e}}parer$ est de trouver la $r{\acute{e}}solution$ dans la culture. Pourtant cette $derni{\grave{e}}re$ ne signifie pas la tradition comme $c^{\prime}{\acute{e}}tait$ le cas $jusqu^{\prime}{\grave{a}}$ aujourd'hui, car les $Cor{\acute{e}}ens$ ne sont pas ${\acute{e}}duqu{\acute{e}}s$ par cette $derni{\grave{e}}re$. La $modernit{\acute{e}}$, disons occidentale, traverse la $Cor{\acute{e}}e$. Donc, la signification du mot 'culture' doit ${\hat{e}}tre$ $bas{\acute{e}}e$ sur la tradition et la $modernit{\acute{e}}$ en $m{\hat{e}}me$ temps.
