The human resources of an enterprise is very important to survive in these days of business environment. This study investigates the influence of four behavioral types in MBTI (Myer-Briggs Type Indicator) and working conditions on organizational effectiveness. Job satisfaction and immersion have been regarded as a key conception of organizational effectiveness. The focus of this study is to investigate the effects of R&D employee's four behavioral types in MBTI and working conditions on organizational effectiveness. The results of this study show that organizational effectiveness is influenced by personality types and working conditions. According to the result, First, about the analysis of differences in job satisfaction, EP (Extraversion Perceiving)-type (3.56) and EJ (Extraversion Judging)-type (3.43) are higher than IJ (Introversion Judging)-type (3.07) and IP (Introversion Perceiving)-type (3.03) of four behavioral types in MBTI. So an enterprise makes various efforts to enhance job satisfaction for IJ (Introversion Judging)-type and IP (Introversion Perceiving)-type. Second, For improving the organizational effectiveness that is job satisfaction and immersion, an enterprise must make favorable working conditions to each four behavioral types in MBTI of R&D employees. This study is aimed to investigate the association between web-based visual stress and MBTI personality types. The stressor deriving visual stress is built by 14 vowels out of Korean alphabet as a content and parallel striples as a background on the screen, which is given to each subject during 5min. The dependent variable indicating how much human takes visual stress is the reduction rate of flicker fusion frequency, which is evaluated with visual flicker fusion frequency tester. The independent variables are gender and 8 MBTI personality types(E-I, S-N, T-F, and J-P), and hypotheses are based on human information processing model and previous studies. The results address that the reduction rate is not significantly affected by gender, S-N, and J-P, but E-I and T-F have significant influences on it. The reduction rate in I-type is almost 2 times as much as that in E-type and T-type has the rate 2.2 times more than F-type. This study can be applicable to determine the adequate personnel for jobs requiring less sensibility to visual stressors in areas that human error may lead to critical damages to an overall system.

Focusing upon the post-adoption stage of IS, this study reasoned that IS users' personality is one of major influencing factors of continuous IS usage intention and empirically examined how the degree of continuous IS usage intention is variable according to the IS users' personality types classified based on MBTI(Myers Briggs Type Indicator). In order to validate the research model and hypotheses, this study made a field survey of 330 IS users and statistically analysed response data. The results of empirical analyses showed that the intent of continuous IS usage was affected by self-efficacy of IS; and self-efficacy by self-leadership of IS; and self-leadership by IS user' personality type and expectation confirmation. That is, it was found that IS users' personality type and three intervening variables(expectation confirmation, self-leadership and self-efficacy) were significant predictors of the intent of continuous IS usage. This study is thought to be contributive to providing the theoretical basis of finding IS success factors in the post-adoption stage and the practical guideline for effective personnel management relevant to IS implementation.
The purpose of the present study was to investigate personality type with evoked potentials. Teenage students(121 males, 69 females) tested Myers Briggs Type Indicator and raven like discrimination task by evoked potential. Raven like discrimination tasks were made of low, medium and high levels. Conclusively extraversion and introversion while accomplishing the raven like discrimination tasks, showed the significant difference between two groups in the power of concentration. M-Beta(middle beta), Gamma and H-Beta(high beta) were also appeared significant differences between two groups. The sensing and intuition type partially appeared the different tendency of two groups while accomplishing easy and medium of difficulty tasks. Thinking and Feeling type while accomplishing raven like discrimination tasks, showed difference of the concentration power and H-Beta at Fp1. But judgment and perception type did not appear the difference between two groups while accomplishing raven like discrimination tasks of low, medium, and high. These results implied that the personality type can be affected brain wave by evoked potentials.

In this study, MBTI personality type test was conducted for high school students in engineering, and then programming class was conducted to analyze students' learning attitudes. To do this, we designed learning based on creative problem solving model and integrated thinking model. Students classify I (introvert) type and O (extrovert) type as a primary and T (thinking type) and P (cognitive type) as secondary. As a result of this study, learning motivation factors according to personality type were found. Therefore, in future research, we want to study the change of learning method according to learner personality type.

Purpose: This study was conducted to describe stress, stress coping, and school adaptation according to Myers-Briggs type indicator(MBTI) personality type in freshmen nursing students. Methods: This study was a cross sectional survey and the data was collected from 267 freshmen nursing students by means of self reported questionnaires from March 3 to 30, 2012. Collected data were analyzed on SPSS win 18.0. Results: 16 personality types were all seen in this study participants. There were no significant differences in stress, stress coping, and school adaptation according to 4 functions and 4 temperaments of MBTI. Conclusion: Nursing students show various personality types and we need to understand their diversity and reflect it to a school curriculum or education program development. Further study is required to identify the effects of self-understanding program on stress management and school adaptation.
This study aimed to identify the relationship between MBTI personality types and parent-child relationships among the juvenile delinquents non-delinquent adolescents. From the analyses of empirical data, the following tendencies were found. First, delinquent juveniles are more likely to be classified to be such MBTI types as "Extroverted," "Sensing," "Thinking," and "Judging" than non-delinquent juveniles. Second, contrary to popular belief, the juvenile delinquent group was fecund to have more positive attitudes toward their relationship with their parents than the non-delinquent juvenile group. Third, for both the non-delinquent juveniles and the delinquent juveniles, "I" and "P" preferences were related with a positive perception of the relationship with their parents. Fourth, "EJ," as a psychological temperament type, was related with a Positive relationship with parents for both groups. Fifth, the psychological function types were not significantly related with the relationship with parents. Sixth, "EP" and "IP," as psychological attitudes types, were related significantly with a positive relationship with parents. Seventh, the juveniles classified as "ESTJ" had good relationships with parents, whereas "ISTP" types, on the other hand, tended to show the most negative attitudes toward their relationship with parents. The most interesting result of this study was the finding that the "P (perceiving)" types in the non-delinquent juveniles group as well as in the juvenile delinquents group tend to have negative attitudes toward their parents.
Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the academic achievement in comprehensive dental hygiene courses using MBTI personality type. This study will provide the various pedagogical approaches in the dental hygiene education. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 58 dental hygiene students in Chungnam from December, 2012 to March, 2014. The questionnaire consisted of academic achievement of comprehensive dental hygiene course and communication skills, After filling out the questionnaire, the students completed MBTI personality type sheet. Results: The students were categorized as extroversion type (58.6%), sensing type (70.7%), feeling type (56.9%), and perceiving type (67.2%). In the academic achievement, extroversion and judging personality type students had higher self-efficacy than the students of introversion and perceiving types. The extroversion personality type students also had the higher assignment level and confidence than the introversion type. Conclusions: In order to enhance the understanding and learning capacity of the students, dental hygiene professors should understand the differences in achievement levels due to different personality types so that they can utilize better pedagogical approaches.
