So far, there have been grossly 3 types of studies on GF(2m) multiplier architecture, such as serial multiplication, array multiplication, and hybrid multiplication. Serial multiplication method was first suggested by Mastrovito (1), to be known as the basic CF(2m) multiplication architecture, and this method was adopted in the array multiplier (2), consuming m times as much resource in parallel to extract m times of speed. In 1999, Paar studied further to get the benefit of both architecture, presenting the hybrid multiplication architecture (3). However, the hybrid architecture has defect that only complex ordo. of finite field should be used. In this paper, we propose a novel approach on developing serial multiplier architecture based on Mastrovito's, by modifying the numerical formula of the polynomial-basis serial multiplication. The proposed multiplier architecture was described and implemented in HDL so that the novel architecture was simulated and verified in the level of hardware as well as software. The implemented GF(2m) multiplier shows t times as fast as the traditional one, if we modularized the numerical expression by t number of parts.

The utilization of the Mobile Government system is having more than a few challenges including complexity of different mobile technologies, determining interoperability among existing systems and infrastructures, and establishing services with secured networks. To get over those challenges, integrated standard, innovative and comprehensive system architecture is required by the M-Government. Hence this study proposed reference EA framework for M-Government system in order to avoid unnecessary duplication of infrastructure deployment and integrate services among different government instructions. The study based on literature review, and current infrastructure and mobile network situation for delivering Government services of Mongolia. The study recommends innovative m-Government system framework used EA, and scope covered mobile service delivery area centered on G4C and C2G perspectives. The Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework has used in this research, and the proposed system service architecture defines the interoperable standards, infrastructure components, applications, and technologies for government institutions in Mongolia to aid interactions necessity among them to provide m-Service.
In this paper, we propose a suitable multiplication architecture for cellular automata in a finite field $GF(2^m)$. Proposed least significant bit first multiplier is based on irreducible all one Polynomial, and has a latency of (m+1) and a critical path of $ 1-D_{AND}+1-D{XOR}$.Specially it is efficient for implementing VLSI architecture and has potential for use as a basic architecture for division, exponentiation and inverses since it is a parallel structure with regularity and modularity. Moreover our architecture can be used as a basic architecture for well-known public-key information service in $GF(2^m)$ such as Diffie-Hellman key exchange protocol, Digital Signature Algorithm and ElGamal cryptosystem.
Among finite filed arithmetic operations, division/inverse is known as a basic operation for public-key cryptosystems over $GF(2^{m})$ and it is computed by performing the repetitive $AB^{2}$ multiplication. This paper presents a digit-serial-in-serial-out systolic architecture for performing the $AB^2$ operation in GF$(2^{m})$. To obtain L×L digit-serial-in-serial-out architecture, new $AB^{2}$ algorithm is proposed and partitioning, index transformation and merging the cell of the architecture, which is derived from the algorithm, are proposed. Based on the area-time product, when the digit-size of digit-serial architecture, L, is selected to be less than about m, the proposed digit-serial architecture is efficient than bit-parallel architecture, and L is selected to be less than about $(1/5)log_{2}(m+1)$, the proposed is efficient than bit-serial. In addition, the area-time product complexity of pipelined digit-serial $AB^{2}$ systolic architecture is approximately $10.9\%$ lower than that of nonpipelined one, when it is assumed that m=160 and L=8. Additionally, since the proposed architecture can be utilized for the basic architecture of crypto-processor and it is well suited to VLSI implementation because of its simplicity, regularity and pipelinability.
In order to solve the well-known drawback of reduced flexibility that is associate with ASIC implementations, this paper proposes a novel arithmetic unit over GF(2$^{m}$ ) for field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) implementations of elliptic curve cryptographic processor. The proposed arithmetic unit is based on the binary extended GCD algorithm and the MSB-first multiplication scheme, and designed as systolic architecture to remove global signals broadcasting. The proposed architecture can perform both division and multiplication in GF(2$^{m}$ ). In other word, when input data come in continuously, it produces division results at a rate of one per m clock cycles after an initial delay of 5m-2 in division mode and multiplication results at a rate of one per m clock cycles after an initial delay of 3m in multiplication mode respectively. Analysis shows that while previously proposed dividers have area complexity of Ο(m$^2$) or Ο(mㆍ(log$_2$$^{m}$ )), the Proposed architecture has area complexity of Ο(m), In addition, the proposed architecture has significantly less computational delay time compared with the divider which has area complexity of Ο(mㆍ(log$_2$$^{m}$ )). FPGA implementation results of the proposed arithmetic unit, in which Altera's EP2A70F1508C-7 was used as the target device, show that it ran at maximum 121MHz and utilized 52% of the chip area in GF(2$^{571}$ ). Therefore, when elliptic curve cryptographic processor is implemented on FPGAs, the proposed arithmetic unit is well suited for both division and multiplication circuit.

In this paper, a new architecture for fast-serial $GF(2^m)$ multiplier with low hardware complexity is proposed. The fast-serial multiplier operates standard basis of $GF(2^m)$ and is faster than bit serial ones but with lower area complexity than bit parallel ones. The most significant feature of the fast-serial architecture is that a trade-off between hardware complexity and delay time can be achieved. But The traditional fast-serial architecture needs extra (t-1)m registers for achieving the t times speed. In this paper a new fast-serial multiplier without increasing the number of registers is presented.

We propose a percolation based M2M networking architecture and its data transmission method. The proposed network architecture can be server-free and router-free, which allows us to operate routing efficiently with percolations based on six degrees of separation theory in small world network modeling. The data transmission can be divided into two phases: routing and data transmission phases. In the routing phase, probe packets will be transmitted and forwarded in the network thus multiple paths are selected and performed based on the constriction of the maximum hop number. In the second phase, the information will be encoded, say, with the fountain codes, and transmitted using the paths generated in the first phase. In such a way, an efficient routing and data transmission mechanism can be built, which allow us to construct a low-cost, flexible and ubiquitous network. Such a networking architecture and data transmission can be used in many M2M communications, such as the stub network of internet of things, and deep space networking, and so on.

Multiplication in Galois Field GF(2/sup m/) is a primary operation for many applications, particularly for public key cryptography such as Diffie-Hellman key exchange, ElGamal. The current paper presents a new architecture that can process Montgomery multiplication over GF(2/sup m/) in m clock cycles based on cellular automata. It is possible to implement the modular exponentiation, division, inversion /sup 1)/architecture, etc. efficiently based on the Montgomery multiplication proposed in this paper. Since cellular automata architecture is simple, regular, modular and cascadable, it can be utilized efficiently for the implementation of VLSI.

This paper proposes a novel arithmetic unit over GF(2$^{m}$ ) for low-area elliptic curve cryptographic processor. The proposed arithmetic unit, which is linear feed back shift register (LFSR) architecture, is designed by using hardware sharing between the binary GCD algorithm and the most significant bit (MSB)-first multiplication scheme, and it can perform both division and multiplication in GF(2$^{m}$ ). In other word, the proposed architecture produce division results at a rate of one per 2m-1 clock cycles in division mode and multiplication results at a rate of one per m clock cycles in multiplication mode. Analysis shows that the computational delay time of the proposed architecture, for division, is less than previously proposed dividers with reduced transistor counts. In addition, since the proposed arithmetic unit does not restrict the choice of irreducible polynomials and has regularity and modularity, it provides a high flexibility and scalability with respect to the field size m. Therefore, the proposed novel architecture can be used for both division and multiplication circuit of elliptic curve cryptographic processor. Specially, it is well suited to low-area applications such as smart cards and hand held devices.
