음성인식을 위한 혼돈시스템 특성기반의 종단탐색 기법 (A New Endpoint Detection Method Based on Chaotic System Features for Digital Isolated Word Recognition System)

  • 음성 인식 연구에서 잡음이 있는 상태에서 음성 발음상의 시작점과 종단점을 찾는 것은 매우 중요하다. 기존 음성인식 시스템의 오차는 대부분 참고템플릿의 시작점과 종단점을 왜란이나 잡음으로 인해 자동적으로 찾지 못했을 경우 발생한다. 따라서 음성 신호상에서 필요 없는 부분을 제거할 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 기존의 음성 종단점을 찾는 방법으로는 시간도메인 측정방법, 미세시간 에너지 분석, 영교차율 방법이 있다. 위의 방법들은 저주파 신호 노이즈의 영향에 정밀성을 보장을 못한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 시간영역상에서 리야프노프 지수를 이용한 종단점 인식 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 기존의 방법들과의 비교를 통해 제안한 방법의 성능 우수성을 보였으며, 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통해 잡음환경에서도 음성종단 인식이 가능함을 보였다.

  • 비선형 동력학 시스템으로 판단되는 전력수요의 시계열 데이터를 분석하고 예측하기 위해 다양한 방법과 알고리즘이 적용되어져 왔다. 본 논문에서는 복잡한 비선형 시스템의 특성을 파악하기 위해 비선형 시계열 분석을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있는 각종 알고리즘과 코드를 패키지로 제공하는 TISEAN을 이용하여 전력수요 시계열 데이터가 가지고 있는 카오스 성질을 분석하였다.

시간지연 퍼지 시스템의 지연 종속 H 필터 설계 (Delay-dependent v Filter Design for Delayed Fuzzy Dynamic Systems)

  • This paper presents a delay dependent fuzzy H_\infty$ filter design method for delayed fuzzy dynamic systems. Using delay-dependent Lyapunov function, the global exponential stability and H_\infty$ performance problem are discussed. A sufficient condition for the existence of fuzzy filter is presented in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). The filter design utilize the concept of parallel distributed compensation. And the filter gains can also be directly obtained from the LMI solutions. A simulation example is given to illustrate the design procedures and performance of the proposed methods.

  • Stay cables, such as are used in cable-stayed bridges, are prone to vibration due to their low inherent damping characteristics. Several methods have been proposed and implemented to mitigate this problem, though each has its limitations. Recently some studies have shown that semiactive dampers can potentially achieve performance levels nearly the same as comparable active devices with few of the detractions. This paper presents the results of a study to evaluate the performance of semiactive dampers for mitigating the vibration of stay cables. Moreover, a number of recently proposed semiactive control algorithms are formulated for use with shear mode MR damper to compare the efficiency of each algorithm through numerical simulation. Numerical simulation considers a stay cable excited by shaker and controlled by shear mode MR dampers. In simulation, the response with a semiactive damper is found to be dramatically reduced compared to the uncontrolled case. Furthermore, it is verified that the algorithm based on Lyapunov control theory is very efficient in mitigating the cable vibration.

A simulation example through radar gimbal system is given to illustrate the design procedures and performances of the prosed methods.

  • A method for the closedloop control of the torsional tip motion of a piezo-polymer actuator is presented. The application of Lyapunov's direct, method to the problem is explored. A feedback control of the torsional tip motion of tile piezopolymer actuator is derived by considering tile time rate of change of the total energy of the system. If the angular velocity of the tip of the actuator is known, all the modes of tile actuator can be controlled simultaneously. This approach has tile advantage over the conventional methods in the respect that it allows one to directly with tile system's partial differential equations without resorting to approximations.

  • A servo system requires faster and more accurate dynamic responses. Generally a PD control is mainly used to obtain the precision, and in the other hand a fuzzy control to improve the transient response and to cope with the nonlinearity of systems. Recently hybrid control, which is attempted to combine the advantages of PD control and a Fuzzy control was proposed, but this technique requires complicate design procedures. Therefore in this paper, a Fuzzy controller with a series of membership functions, and various sampling periods and rules, was designed on the basis of Lyapunov stability theory and auto tuning methods of input scale factors. And also it was showed to have the excellent adaptive performances against internal-external disturbances and the usefulness of this controller from the results of simulations.

  • 채터링 현상은 VSS의 주요한 약점이며 이 문제를 극복하기위하여 많은 연구들이 발표되었다. 선형 슬라이딩 섹터 이론이 최근에 발표되었으며, 본 논문에서는 섹터 내부에 연속입력함수를 가진 슬라이딩 섹터이론을 이용하여 비선형시스템 제어하는 새로운 방식을 제안하고, 슬라이딩 섹터에 리아프노프 함수를 이용하여 안정도를 분석한다. 역진자 시스템에 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 채터링 현상의 제거를 확인한다.

  • In this paper, a new robust variable structure controller based on a nonlinear integral type sliding surface is presented for the control of uncertain systems with mismatched uncertainties and disturbance. A nonlinear integral type sliding surface is suggested for removing the reaching phase. After its ideal sliding dynamics is obtained, the two design methods are presented. A corresponding control input is proposed to satisfy the closed loop stability in the sense of Lyapunov and the existence condition of the sliding mode on the nonlinear integral type sliding surface, which will be investigated in Theorem 1. Through a design example and simulation study, the usefulness of the proposed controller is verified.

A NONSTANDARD FINITE DIFFERENCE METHOD APPLIED TO A MATHEMATICAL CHOLERA MODEL

  • In this paper, we aim to construct a nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) scheme to solve numerically a mathematical model for cholera epidemic dynamics. We first show that if the basic reproduction number is less than unity, the disease-free equilibrium (DFE) is locally asymptotically stable. Moreover, we mainly establish the global stability analysis of the DFE and endemic equilibrium by using suitable Lyapunov functionals regardless of the time step size. Finally, numerical simulations with different time step sizes and initial conditions are carried out and comparisons are made with other well-known methods to illustrate the main theoretical results.
