사용자 요구 조도 보장 에너지 효율적 실내 조명 시스템 조명 방향 및 광속 제어 기법 (A Lighting direction and Luminous Flux Control for Energy-efficiency under Illuminance Requirements in Indoor Lighting Systems)

  • The management of energy resources for efficient utilization of the energy resources while reducing the system costs is a critical technical issue. Among many kinds of the energy resource management, the energy reduction for indoor lighting systems is getting much concern as a large portion of energy consumption has been made for indoor lightings. In this paper, an energy-efficient lighting control scheme for indoor lighting systems in order to reduce the energy consumption by controlling the luminous flux and the lighting direction under the illuminance constraints is proposed. With the use of the user location information for the luminaire which is closely located to the user, the proposed scheme firstly sets the light direction of the luminaire to be aligned to the user location. Then, an optimization problem to find the luminous flux of each luminaire is formulated in order to minimize the luminous flux sum of the luminaires with the constraints for the dynamic ragne of the luminous flux, and the light flux for each luminaire is determined by the solution of the problem. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the luminaire control scheme with only the luminous flux control in the evaluation of satisfaction of the required illuminance level.

  • The plasma tube array display is expected to realize the wall size display with very high luminous efficacy. The cell design for high luminous efficacy was investigated. Also discharging in plasma tube was observed to investigate the structure for high luminous efficacy. As the result, high luminous efficacy of 5.4 lm/W was achieved.

확산형 LED램프와 백열램프의 각도별 광속에 관한 비교연구 (A Comparative Study on the Luminous Flux by Degree of Non-directional LED Lamps and Incandescent lamp)

  • In general, non-directional LED lamps including high transmittance cover are more advantageous than directional LED lamps, which are efficient enough to improve luminous efficacy and obtain certification, allowing wide manufacture, sale, and distribution. Although KS C 7651(Self-ballasted LED lamps-Safety and performance requirements) was revised in July 2013, however, many companies are having a lot of difficulties in keeping the certification and product development for the lack of the photometric analysis for non-directional LED lamps. In this paper, through the measurement of the angular distribution of luminous flux of incandescent lamp and non-directional LED lamps, we examined the reasonability of non-directional LED lamps' standards as suggested in KS C 7651. According to the results, even if non-directional LED lamps satisfy KS C 7651, when compared to an incandescent lamp, they showed less diffusive than the incandescent lamp and the distribution of the luminous flux depending on the angle fluctuated greatly even among LED lamps. Judging by the result, the current standard of the non-directional LED lamps, KS C 7651, has been comprehended that the angular distribution of the luminous flux needs to be presented after being much more thoroughly standardized.

  • This paper represents an efficient algorithm to segment objects from the background using multiple images of distinct luminous intensities. The proposed algorithm obtains images with different luminous intensities using a camera flash. From the multiple intensities for a pixel, a saturated luminous intensity is estimated together with the slope of intensity rate. Then, we measure the sensitivities of pixels from their slopes. The sensitivities show different patterns according to the distances from the light source. Therefore, the proposed algorithm segments near objects using the sensitivity information by minimizing an energy function. Experimental results on various objects show that the proposed algorithm provides accurate results without any user interaction.

  • Efficient electrodes are devised for organic luminescent device(OLED). ITO electrode is treated with $O_2$ plasma. In order to inject hole efficiently, there is proposed the shape of anode that inserted plasma polymerized films as buffer layer between anode and organic layer using thiophene monomer. In the case of device inserted the buffer layer by using the plasma polymerization after $O_2$ plasma processing for ITO transparent electrode, since it forms the stable interface and reduce the moving speed of hole, the recombination of hole and electronic are made in the emitting layer. Therefore it realized the device capability of two times in the aspect of luminous efficiency than the device which do not be inserted the buffer layer. Experiments are limited to the device that has the structure of TPD/$AIq_3$, however, the aforementioned electrodes can similarly applied to the organic luminous device and the Polymer luminous device.

Highly efficient phosphorescent polymer OLEDs fabricated by screen printing

  • We demonstrate the use of screen printing in the fabrication of highly efficient phosphorescent polymer organic-light-emitting devices (OLEDs) based on a green-emitting $Ir(ppy)_3$ and a host polymer PVK. We incorporate PBD in the polymer host as an electron-transporting dopant and ${\alpha}-NPD$ as a hole transporting dopant. The best screen printed single-layer device exhibits very high peak luminous efficiency of 63 cd/A at a relatively high operating voltage of 17.1 V at the luminance of $650\;cd/m^2$. We observed the highest luminance of $21,000\;Cd/m^2$ at 35V. Due to the high operating voltage, despite of the high peak luminous efficiency the peak power efficiency was found to be 12.2 lm/W at the luminance of $470\;cd/m^2$ (15.9 V).

버퍼층과 음전극에 따른 유기 발광 소자의 전기적 특성과 발광 효율 (Electrical Properties and Luminous Efficiency in Organic Light-Emitting Diodes Depending on Buffer Layer and Cathodes)

  • We have studied electrical properties and luminous efficiency of organic light-emitting diodes(OLEDs) with different buffer layer and cathodes in a temperature range of 10 K and 300 K. Four different device structures were made. The OLEDs are based on the molecular compounds, N,N'-diphenyl-N,N'-bis(3-methylphenyl)-1,1'-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine (TPD) as a hole transport, tris(8-hydroxyquinolinato) aluminum(III) (Alq$_3$) as an electron transport and omissive layer, and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) :poly (styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS ) as a buffer layer. And LiAl was used as a cathode. Among the devices, the ITO/PEDOT:PSS/TPD/Alq$_3$/LiAl structure has a low energy-barrier height for charge injection and show a good luminous efficiency. We have got a highly efficient and low-voltage operating device using the conductive PEDOT:PSS and low work-function LiAl. From current-voltage characteristics with temperature variation, conduction mechanisms are explained SCLC (space charge limited current) and tunneling one. We have also studied energy barrier height and luminous efficiency at various temperature.

실리콘 리플렉터를 적용한 고효율 고출력 LED 패키지 개발 (Development of High Efficiency and High Power LED Package for Applying Silicone-Reflector)

  • We developed high-efficient 6W-LED package with simple structure by applying Heat Slug and silicone-reflector. LED package was manufactured in $8.5{\times}8.5mm$ sized multi-chip structure having thickness of $500{\mu}m$ achieved by bonding silicon-reflector with prepreg on top of the plate after implementing the reflector placed on copper substrate Half Etching by thickness of $200{\mu}m$. The luminous flux, luminous efficacy, correlated color temperature, color rendering index and thermal resistance of developed LED was evaluated, and it verified the application of products by applying it to 120W-LED road luminaires through simulation. The luminous efficacy of LED package reached over 130lm/W, and it is possible to be manufactured into 120W-LED road luminaires using 18 packages. In addition, the simulation results showed average of horizontal illuminance and overall illuminance uniformity that is suitable for three-lane road.

LED 광원에 따른 표고 톱밥배지 갈변효율 및 자실체 특성 (Browning efficiency and fruiting body characteristics of Lentinula edodes according to LED light source with sawdust substrate)

  • LED 광원 종류별로 갈변시킨 톱밥배지에서 발생된 표고버섯의 항산화 활성을 측정하였다. 광원 종류 및 광량 선발에서는 청색LED 200lx에서 갈변 효율이 가장 좋았고, 광원 종류에 상관없이 200lx에서 높은 갈변효율을 보였다. 수량에서도 청색광원이 다른 처리에 비해 우수하였다. 항산화 활성을 확인하기 위한 DPPH radical 소거능 실험에서는 갈변효율과는 달리 적색광원에서 평균적으로 높은 라디칼 소거능을 보였고, 가장 높은 소거능을 보인 처리구로 '농진고'는 적색광원 400lx에서 발생된 자실체가 $34.3{\pm}1.80%$, '산조701호'는 적색광원 300lx에서 $32.99{\pm}1.58%$로 나타났다. DPPH 라디칼 소거능과 상관관계가 있다고 알려진 폴리페놀 함량은 '농진고'에서는 유사한 상관관계를 보이지 않았지만 '산조701호'에서는 유사한 상관관계를 보였다.

고효율의 형광램프용 자기식 안정기의 개발 (Development of a High-Efficient Magneric Ballast for Fluorescentlamps)

  • 새로운 형태의 자기식 형광등 안정기를 설계 개발하여 고효율화 성능시험을 수행하였다. 새로운 철심재료인 고성능의 G-9 재료를 사용하고, 철심구조와 모양을 개선하였고 코일의 동선을 짧고 굵은 것으로 대체하여 직류저항 성분을 줄여서 안정기 자체의 에너지 손실을 감소시켰다. 반도체형 점등회로를 대폭 개선하여 순간 점등을 가능하게 하고 형광램프의 사용수명연장, 화재방지 등을 할 수 있게 하였다. 안정기 자체의 에너지 감소가 1.7Watt, 형광등 조명광 향상이 7.6[%] 증가 등 큰 에너지 절약을 보였다. 본 연구결과는 형광등 안정기의 기술 향상과 국가 전력소비 절감효과 등 중요한 의미가 있다.
