고온 고속유동으로 인한 실제 기체효과의 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Real Gas Effect due to High Temperature and Speed Flow)

  • In this paper the efficient space marching Viscous Shock Layer and Parabolized Navier-Stokes method have been applied to study the complex 3-D hypersonic equilibrium chemically reacting flowfilelds over sphere-cone($10^{\circ}$) vehicle at low angles of attack($0^{\circ}~5^{\circ}), Mach 20, and an altitude of 35km. The current bluntbody/afterbody space marching numerical method predicts the complex flowfields accurately and efficiently even on a small computer. The shock thickness from equilibrium air model is thinner than that from the perfect gas model. The windside wall heat-transfer rate, pressure and skin friction force were increased significantly when compared with those of leeside. The CA, CN, CM were increased almost linearly with the angle of attack in this region. The wall pressure, heat transfer, skin friction and axial force coeffient from equilibrium model were much higher than those from perfect gas model. The center of pressure moved forward with the increase of angle of attack.

  • This paper is proposed maximum torque control for electric vehicle drive. At low speeds, the reluctance torque is used to maximize the output for a given current level. This Is achieved maximum torque per ampere(MTPA) by selecting an optimal value of the direct stator current component. At high speeds, the system reaches a point at which the inverter will not be able to supply the desired voltage In this case it Is necessary to make use of an increased value the direct current component. The proposed control algorithm is applied to PMSM drive system, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail by simulation.

  • Maglev is a non-contact traffic system in which cars are supported by magnetic force instead of wheels. This is a ground-breaking traffic system providing superior environmental friendliness and cost efficiency due to the minimal noise and vibration offered by its non-contacting nature. We study the present specification and performance of the low speed urban maglev system in Korea and other countries. After set up the test line, to success the "Commercialization of Korean Urban Maglev System" project, we establish proper requirement of maglev system in Korean environment on base of "Daejeon National Science Museum Maglev Establish Project".

Plastic collapse of tapered, tip-loaded cantilevered beams

  • The plastic collapse loads and their locations are predicted for a class of tapered, initially curved, and transversely corrugated cantilevered beams subjected to static tip loading. Results of both closed form and finite element solutions for several rigid perfectly plastic and elastic perfectly plastic beam models are evaluated. The governing equations are cast in nondimensional form for efficient studies of collapse load as it varies with beam geometry and the angle of the tip load. Static experiments for laboratory-scale configurations whose taper flared toward the tip, complemented the theory in that collapse occurred at points about 40% of the beams length from the fixed end. Experiments for low speed impact loading of these configurations showed that collapse occurred further from the fixed end, between the 61% and 71% points. The results may be applied to the design of safer highway guardrail terminal systems that collapse by design under vehicle impact.

  • Dynamics of AUV has heavy nonlinearities and many unknown parameters due to its bluff shape and low cruising speed. Intelligent algorithms, therefore, are required to overcome these nonlinearities and unknown system dynamics. Several identification techniques have been suggested for the application of control of underwater vehicles during last decade. This paper applies the neural network to identification and motion control problem of AUVs. Nonlinear dynamic systems of an AUV are identified using feedforward neural network. Simulation results show that the learned neural network can generate the motion of AUV. This paper, also, suggest an adaptive control scheme up-dates the controller weights with reference model and feedforward neural network using error back propagation.

  • The OBCS(On-Board Computer System) achieves train system diagnosis and control. For commercial train operation, it must guarantee the reliability for safe and have low cost operational algorithm. To guarantee the diagnosis function and the control ability of OBCS, sufficient actual railway running test under severe conditions is required. But, running test has some limitations for making severe conditions because of safety and it demands quite long time and a lot of costs. So simulator is required and is utilized in many countries. We designed a simulator to test various functions and performance of controllers for high speed train's power car under various conditions and it is represented briefly.

  • This paper presents vibration control of an engine mount for a passenger vehicle utilizing ER fluid and piezoelectric actuator. The proposed engine mount can be isolated the vibration of wide frequency range with many types of amplitude. The main function of ER fluid is to attenuate vibration for low frequency with large amplitude, while the piezoelectric actuator is activated in hish frequency range with small amplitude. A mathematical model of the engine mount is derived using Hydraulic model and mechanical model. After formulating the governing equation of motion, then field-dependent dynamic stiffness of the engine mount is evaluated for various engine speed and excitation amplitude conditions. Then robust controller is designed to attenuate vibration of wide range frequency component. Computer simulation is undertaken in order to evaluate the vibration control performance such as transmissibility magnitude in frequency domains.

  • Local Interconnect Network(LIN)은 저속의 차량 통신 버스로 윈도우, 도어, 공조, 조명 등 바디 어플리케이션에 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 LIN 버스의 프로토콜과 메시지 프레임에 대해 자세히 설명한다. LIN 버스에서는 기본적으로 메시지 프레임에서 ID와 페이로드만 전송하며, 이들 ID와 페이로드를 해석하는 방법은 LIN Description File(LDF)를 통해서 각각의 LIN 버스마다 다르게 정의한다. 본 논문에서는 LDF의 문법과 예제에 대해서도 자세히 설명한다.

  • 우리나라의 모든 고속도로 톨게이트에서는 저속 축중기를 사용해 과적 화물 차량의 고속도로 본선 진입을 차단하고 있으나, 일부 화물 차량은 가변축을 조작할 수 있도록 불법으로 개조하고 축조작을 통해 단속을 회피하고 있다. 기존에 수행된 연구들에서는 주행중인 차량의 타이어들을 검출해 축조작의 여부를 판별하고 있지만, 고속도로 톨게이트 검문소의 차량 진입부가 매우 좁기 때문에 하나의 영상 프레임에 차량의 모든 타이어를 촬영하는 것이 현실적으로 어렵다는 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 타이어의 검출이 아닌 화물 차량 적재함의 상하 높이 변화를 감지하는 방법으로 축조작 시도 여부를 판단할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하였다. 화물 차량의 적재함 높이 변화를 검출하는 방법으로 허프 변환을 이용해 차량 적재함의 대표선을 추출하고 대표선의 높이 변화를 측정하여 적재함의 수직 높이 변화를 감지하는 방법과 광류를 이용해 영상의 일정 영역 내의 픽셀들에 대한 모션 백터를 구하고 이를 누적하여 적재함의 수직 높이 변화를 감지하는 방법을 사용하였으며 두 방법을 비교 분석하고 장단점을 제시하였다.

  • Recently. switched reluctance motor is noticed because it is simple in structure and mechanically strong. SRM has great competitive power, and the study is developed about improving the characteristics of SRM. The current density of winding becomes larger in designing SRM that has the characteristics of the low voltage and high current. Hence the current density of SRM of a vehicle is high. And in order that we drive SRM in variable speed and protect the switching device. the current of SRM is limited by chopping. So it is impossible to obtain object value of output characteristics by limited current. In this paper, the author design the shape of SRM from Miller's output equation, and verify the design of SRM by using FEM. The waveform of chopping current is predicted by simulation and concur with experimental result. And the torque is improved by applying overlap current.
