무인비행체 자동조종장치의 강건성 해석에 관한 연구 (The Analysis of the Robustness of the Autopilot for the UAV)

  • 본 논문에서는 무인비행체를 특정 위치로 유도하기 위한 자동조종장치를 설계하였으며, 설계되어진 자동 조종장치에 대해 외부 교란에 대한 강건성을 시험하였다. 무인비행체의 속도를 저속, 순항, 고속으로 분류하여 각각의 속도에 대한 자동조종장치를 설계하였으며, 설계되어진 자동조종장치의 이득에 대해 이득 스케듈링을 수행하였다. 무인비행체의 운용고도에 따라 대기교란 모델을 발생하였고, 모의실험을 통해 이에 따른 무인비행체 자동조종장치의 강건성을 증명하였다.

  • The periphery pump(or regenerative pump) has been generally applied in the automotive fuel pump due to their low specific speed(high heads and small flow rate) with stable performance curves. In this study, the performance prediction of side channel type periphery pumps has been developed. The prediction of the circulatory flow rate is based on the consideration of the centrifugal force field in the side-channel and in the impeller vane grooves. For the determination of performance curve(head-flow rate), momentum exchange theory is used. The effects of various geometric parameters and loss coefficients used in the performance prediction method on the head and efficiency are discussed and the results were compared with experimental data.

  • Recently it has been focused that the automobile engine has developed in a strong upward tendency for the use of the high viscosity and poorer quality fuels in achieving the high performance, fuel economy, and emission reduction. Therefore it is not easy to solve the problems between low specific fuel consumption, and exhaust emission control at automotive engine In this study, it is designed and used the test bed which is installed with fuel injector controller. In addition to equipped engine using CRDI by controlling the injection timing with modulator, it has tested and analyzed the engine cycle variation characteristics, as it is varied that they are the operating parameters: fuel injected quantity, injection timing, engine speed and scavenging pressure.

  • This paper is concerned with the measurement of static and dynamic displacement by image processing(IP) and study for prediction method of velocity and acceleration. To measure the displacement visually, the measurement system consists of a telephoto zoom camera, CCD(charge coupled device) image device and a computer. The specific target on the white board is used to calculate the displacement of the structure. The captured image is then converted into a pixel-based data and then analyzed numerically. The limitation of the system depends on the image capturing speed and the pixel-size of image. In this paper, we developed for the displacement measurement using the image processing method. The proposed method enables us to measure the vibration displacement, velocity and acceleration directly without any contact. The current resolution for the displacement measurement can be seen from the results.

치과용 Titanium 주조합금의 마멸특성 (Wear Properties of Cast Titanium Alloys for Dental Use)

  • This study presents the wear characteristics of Ti alloys (Pure Ti, Ti-6Al-4V, Ti-5Al-2.5Sn) fabricated by centrifugal precision casting in an Ohara dental titanium casting machine. It was found that the hardness of the surface region is higher than that of the interior region. It is considered that the oxygen adsorption in the surface region during casting, leads to the interstitial solid solution hardening. Wear resistance incerases in the order of pure Ti, Ti-6Al-4V, Ti-5Al-2.5Sn alloys. The interior hardness value increases in the same order. The specific wear rate increases with applied load and increases monotonously with sliding speed. The Fe transfer from the counterpart material was observed on the worn surface of the Ti-5Al-2.5Sn alloy. Oxidative wear occurs at low sliding speeds and mechanical fracture wear occurs at high sliding speeds.

4-로브 헬리컬형 로터를 가진 용적형수차의 성능예측법 (Performance Prediction Method of n Positive Displacement Turbine with 4-Lobe Helical Type Rotor)

  • In order to extract small hydropower in the very low specific speed range of $n_s<10$, a Positive Displacement Turbine (PDT) has been proposed and steady performances have been determined experimentally. However, the suppression of large pressure fluctuation is inevitable for practical application of PDT. Therefore, present study adopted 4-lobe helical type robe to reduce the pressure fluctuation. The results show that 4-lobe helical type robe can be adopted to suppress the pressure fluctuation drastically. Moreover, efficiency and unit power of the turbine with newly proposed 4-lobe helical type lobe are higher than those of the turbine with 3-lobe straight type robe.

  • Fracture mechanics approach can be severly hampered unless considerable detailed specific knowledge is available. The problem of railway wheel-rail system fatigue design is currently undertaken by using assumed conservative design procedures. However, although the failure rate is low, the consequences of any such failure can be far reaching. It has been demonstrated that the tools available for effective management have limits. In the present study, the safety evaluation based on fracture mechanics is carried out. The critical crack size and remaining lifetime are calculated on the wheel for high-speed train.

  • The flow at the impeller exit is important to validate engineering design and numerical analysis of pumps. However, it is not easy to measure the flow at the impeller exit and evaluate the impeller performance since there is usually strong interaction between the impeller and the volute casing. We installed axisymmetric collector instead of the volute casing, so there is no interaction between the impeller and casing. A 3-hole Cobra probe is used to investigate the flow at impeller exit and vaneless diffuser region for design and on design flow rate. For a single suction centrifugal pump of low specific speed, the flow field such as velocity, flow angle, and total pressure are measured by traversing the probe across the vaneless diffuser. These data can be used for performance prediction, desist and numerical analysis of pumps.

  • 본 연구는 오스템퍼링 온도와 유지시간을 변화시켜 오스템퍼링 한 저합금구 상흑연주철을 실험재로 하여 증류수 및 NaCI수용액 중에서의 부식마멸특성 및 그 기구 를 규명하여 Tribology 설계에 대한 자료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하였다.

  • Dry sliding wear behavior of ultra-fine grained (UFG) plain low carbon dual phase steel, of which microstructure consists of hard martensite in a ductile ferrite matrix, has been investigated. The wear characteristics of the UFG dual phase steel was compared with that of a coarse grained dual phase steel under various applied load conditions. Dry sliding wear test were carried out using a pin-on-disk type tester at various loads of 1N to 100N under a constant sliding speed condition of 0.20m/s against an AISI 52100 bearing steel ball at room temperature. The sliding distance was fixed as 1000m for all wear tests. The wear rate was calculated by dividing the weight loss, measured to the accuracy of 10-5g by the specific gravity and sliding distance. The worn surfaces and wear debris were analyzed by SEM, EDS and profilometer. Micro-vickers hardness of the cross section of worn surfaces were conducted to analyze strain hardening underneath the contact surfaces. The wear mechanism of the UFG dual phase steel was investigated with emphasis on the unstable nature of the grain boundaries of the UFG microstructure.
