Cultural hybridization and global cross-fertilization, begun since the 1990s, mean the hybrid mixture of the low-class popular arts and the high-class fine arts and have found expression in intertextuality by means of the thinking system of de-constructuralist post-modernism. This study was intended to investigate the artistic intertextuality between fashion and art frontiere, especially between such fields as 'animation', 'music', and 'performing arts' and 'fashion', which shows the greatest characteristic of the phenomenon that the non-mainstream culture flows into the mainstream culture. It also aimed to investigate the intertextuality between 'technology' and 'fashion' as the delivery room of the youth culture and copycat culture due to the benefit of technologies since the 20th-century digital revolution. Animation as the neo-pop art with the popular code coming to the forefront in the 21th century integrated high-class fashion and low-class fashion into one through the combination of fashion and humor, and the musical element referring to the social difference of the cultural field and the social strata is becoming the 21th-century fashion icon through its fusion with the pictorial tendency along with the leisure-time life of the non-mainstream strata. In terms of intertextuality in performing arts, fashion style performs an important role in the presentation of performing arts and since the de-construction of the fin-de-ciecle form and its fusion with media have taken place, fashion works become and element of the origin that has an influence on a series of film, dance, dramatic elements and the like. The paradigm of technology made it socially and culturally possible to achieve the architecture of clothing system necessary for fashionable technical clothing by allowing the possibility of imitation, the function of technology to form popular culture. The intertextual tendency in the 21th-century fashion began from the de-constructive phenomenon of existing norms and now takes the multicultural character of surpassing a certain domain or concept. And it positions itself as the total art of spearheading the low-class culture and the non-mainstream culture as the hybrid domain of mainstream and non-mainstream cultures or high-class and low-class cultures.
Studies on the Viability of In Vitro-Matured Bovine Oocytes Vitrified by Microdrop and Straw Method To establish vitrification method for bovine oocytes, mature bovine oocytes were vitrified by microdrop (MD) or straw (Straw) method and the viability of vitrified oocytes with or without cumulus cells (CC) were examined by several methods; a) parthenogenetic activation; b) pronuclear formation after in vitro fertilization (IVF); and c) embryonic development after IVF. The survival rate of vitrified oocytes by MD was significantly higher than by Straw (92.50 vs. 74.19%, p<0.05). Most of the oocytes survived from vitrification using the MD methods. Cleavage and blastocyst development of parthenogenetically activated oocytes were higher in MD (45.05% and 10.81%, respectively; p<0.05)) than those in Straw method (27.17% and 6.52%, respectively; p<0.05). Male and female pronuclear formation of vitrified-thawed oocytes with or without cumulus cells (CC) after IVF were examined, respectively. The survival rate of vitrified oocytes by MD without CC was no difference between MD and Straw (80.368.14% vs. 67.31%). Normal fertilization (2PN) rates were not different among groups (Fresh; 54.55% vs. MD; 42.22% vs. Straw; 37.14%, p>0.05). While no fertilization (<1PN) rates were significantly different between fresh and vitrified-thawed groups (Fresh; 32.47% vs. MD; 57.78% and Straw 62.86%, p<0.05). The polyspermy (3PN) was appeared in the fresh (12.99%), but no appeared in the vitrified-thawed groups. In the without CC, normal fertilization (2PN) rates were significantly different between fresh and vitrified-thawed oocytes (Fresh; 59.38% vs. MD; 17.31% and Straw; 30.43%, p<0.05). Moreover, no fertilization (<1PN) rates were significantly different between fresh and vitrified-thawed groups (Fresh; 23.44% vs. MD; 73.08% and Straw 58.70%, p<0.05). The polyspermy (3PN, >4PN) was appeared not only fresh but vitrified-thawed groups. After IVF, two-cell developmental rates of vitrified oocytes with CC by MD and Straw were significantly low compared to fresh oocytes (Fresh; 81.76% vs. MD; 22.22% and Straw; 11.36%, p<0.05). Blastocyst developmental rates of vitrified oocytes also were significantly low compared to fresh oocytes (Fresh; 28.38 vs. MD; 1.71% and Straw 0%, p<0.05). In the without CC, two-cell developmental rates were no difference between Fresh and MD (27.59% vs. 19.25%, p<0.05), while blastocyst rates were difference between Fresh and MD or Straw (4.31% vs. 0.62% and 0%, respectively; p<0.05). In conclusion, the results indicate that the vitrified bovine oocytes have the ability to develop to the blastocyst stage after IVF.

This pot experiments were conducted to find out the optimal fertilization ratios of ${\Sigma}anion$ : ${\Sigma}cation$, ${\Sigma}A$/${\Sigma}C$, and the optimal application rates of total major nutrients in an orchardgrass/ladino clover mixed sward. The optimum ratios and concentrations in equivalent basis were computed by the Homes systematic variations technique. The results were summarized as follows; 1. The optimum fertilization ratios of ${\Sigma}A$ : ${\Sigma}C$ and the optimum application rates of total nutrients for the high yields by forage species in a mixed sward were obtained (Table 6 in detail); ${\Sigma}A$ : ${\Sigma}C$ = 2 : 1 at 80 and 320 meq/pot, and 3 : 2 at 560 and 800 meq for grass and grass plus legume, and ${\Sigma}A$ : ${\Sigma}C$ = 1 : 2 for legume in general. 2. The optimum application rates of total nutrients for the high yields of grass and grass plus kgum were increased by decreasing the ${\Sigma}A$/ ${\Sigma}C$: ratio, whereas these for legume showed a valible. range without significance. 3. The yields 01 grass and grass plus legume were generally increasing by increasing both the ${\Sigma}A$/ ${\Sigma}C$ ratio and total concentration, but they were significantly higher at the ${\Sigma}A$/ ${\Sigma}C$ = 1.273 than at the 2.125 under the high total ion concentration. The legume yields were proportional to ${\Sigma}C$ ratio and increased by increasing the total ion concentration under the condition of high ${\Sigma}C$ ratio. 4. The efficiencies of ${\Sigma}A$ and ${\Sigma}C$ in relation to the grass and grass plus legume yields were highest with the low ratios of each other and the low rates of total nutrients ${\Sigma}A$ efficiency m the legume yield tended to be similar to that of ${\Sigma}A$ in the grass yield noted above. The ${\Sigma}C$ efficiency in the legume yield, however, was generally proportional to the ${\Sigma}C$ ratio except at the low rate of 80 meqlpot. 5. The yields of grass plus legume, yield components and botanical compositions in a mixed sward were greatly influenced by the ${\Sigma}A$/${\Sigma}C$ ratios, the fertilization rates of total nutrients, and the interaction of ratio and rate noted above. These effects were generally different and opposite accading to grass and legume. In addition, the soil chemical properties and mineral contents of forages were partially influenced by these systematic variations.

With a purpose of finding out the effects of magnesium and boron enriched organic-compound fertilizer application on the dry matter yield, yield components and changes in the botanical composition on the hilly pasture, a field experiment was arranged with five different treatments as a randomized block design and lasted from September, 1984 to the end of growing season in 1986. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1. As a early plant growth and development, winter hardiness, growth vigour and coverage of grasses at the plots with organic-compound fertilizer application were better comparing to single dressing. 2. Average dry matter yields for two years were shown significantly high due to increasing amount of fertilizer. This trend was same both single and organic-compound fertilizer. And dry matter yields with organic-compound fertilizer application of low (8, 693.1 kg/ha) and conventional level (12, 758.7 kg/ha) were appeared to increase by 10 and 15% than those of single dressing of Low (7, 930.6 kg/ha) and conventional level (11, 122.6 kg/ha), respectively. But it was not significant difference. 3. Dry matter yield of grasses was significantly gained by increasing amount of fertilizer. The yield of legumes at the plot without fertilization was significant higher comparing to fertilizing plots, but it was not different between low and conventional dressing levels. However, at the plots with organic-compound fertilizer application the yields of grasses were a little more increased by 8-14%, and legumes were much more gained by 26-29% than those of the same species groups with single dressing, but it was not significant between the different kinds of fertilizer in the same fertilizing level. 4. At the grassland management, the rate of legumes tended to dominate at the plot without fertilization gradually. On the other hand, the botanical compositions and the rates of grasses were much better maintained at the plots with fertilization. But the rates of legumes with organic-compound fertilizer application tended to increase a little more than those of single dressing gradually.
This study was carried out to study the viability of oocytes when vitrified at various maturation stages. Bovine cumulus-oocyte complexes were recovered from ovaries at a slaughter and then divided into five groups: control group(unvitrified oocytes), 0 hr. group(composed of oocytes vitrified before the onset of maturation) and 10, 14, and 20 hrs groups(vitrified at 10, 14 and 20 hrs after the onset of maturation, respectively). The oocytes remained vitrified for 24 hrs, and then were thawed in 3$0^{\circ}C$. Survival and cleavage rates were investigated by results of in vitro culture and aceto-orcein staining or FDA test. No difference in the incidence of diploid oocytes was observed among the control, non-vitrified group(3.6%) and oocytes vitrified at 14 hrs(6.7%) or 20 hrs(1.7%). However, more diploid oocytes were detected after vitrification at 0 hr.(26.7%) and 10 hrs(21.7%) post maturation. The survival rate of all vitrified immature oocytes(12.0~38.0%) was low, 48.0% of unvitrified oocytes and oocytes vitrified before maturation or 0~ 10 hrs after the onset of maturation were higher than that of other groups. The overall fertilization and cleavage rates of vitrified immature oocytes (32.3 ~ 64.6% and 4.6 ~ 32.3%) were low, and 55.0% of unvitrified oocytes and the rate of immature oocytes were very higher than that of mature oocytes.

This experiment was carried out to investigate the effects of the nitrogen rates and cutting heights on the appearance dry weight and death of new bud (branch and tiller) of sorghum-sudangrass hybrid (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench). The cultivar used in the present study was Pioneer 988. The experiment was arranged as a split plot design and undertaken in the Experimental Livestock Farm of Agriculture Coll., Seoul Nat'l Univ. in Suweon, 1981 and 1982. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The appearance and death of branch and tiller were not influenced with high nitrogen fertilization. 2. The frequency of the branching was decreased as the low stubble height, and the rate of the tillering was decreased in the high stubble height. 3. The yield of forage mostly depended on the tiller regardless of cutting height, and minor portion of the yield was resulted from the branch. 4. The low cutting height resulted in the increased number of dead bud (p<0.05).

Management of soil water and fertilization is known to primarily affect physiological properties and yield in plant. The effect of soil water potential and nitrogen application on characteristics of photosynthesis and chlorophyll fluorescence in Schisandra chinensis Baillon was investigated on a sandy loam soil. Net photosyntheis rate and transpiration rate increased as a photon flux density and was highest at -50kPa of soil water potential. Light compensation point ($1.5{\mu}molm^{-1}s^{-1}$) and dark respiration ($0.13{\mu}molCO_2m^{-1}s^{-1}$) was lowest at -50 kPa but maximum photosynthesis rate ($13.10{\mu}molCO_2m^{-1}s^{-1}$) and net apparent quantum yield ($0.083{\mu}molCO_2m^{-1}s^{-1}$) was highest at -50 kPa. As results of chlorophyll fluorescence by OJIP analysis, maximum quantum yield (Fv/Fm) of photosystem II (PSII) and PIabs was higher in treatments of -50 kPa and -60 kPa respectively, which reflects the relative reduction state of PSII. But the relative activities per reaction center such as ABS/RC and DIo/RC were low with decreasing soil water potential. Net photosyntheis rate and transpiration rate were highest at treatment of soil testing 1.0 times ($92kgha^{-1}$). Application of nitrogen resulted in high Fv/Fm, $PI_{abs}$ and low ABS/RC, DIo/RC. This result implies that -50 kPa of soil water potential and nitrogen fertilizer may improve the efficiency of photosynthesis through controlling a photosystem in Schisandra chinensis Baillon.
Various cultural practices have been promoted as management options for enhancing soil quality and health. The use of soil management methods can cause changes in fertility by affecting soil chemical properties. This study aimed to evaluate interactions between soil chemical properties and soil management methods in protected cultivation, and to classify soil management methods that similarly affect soil chemical properties. Water-logging and irrigation reduced soil pH and available $P_2O_5$ content. Application of animal manures has a positive effect on levels of organic matter, Av.$P_2O_5$, K, Zn, and Cu. The electrical conductivites tened to be low in the application of organic amendments, including rice and wood residues. Deeper plowing caused a reduction in Ca content. Practicing soil nutrient-considering fertilization and fertigation did not exert an influence on nutrient element contents. In a cluster analysis of the soil management methods according to major nutrients, low similarities were found with deeper plowing and crop rotation with rice in comparison with other practices. In a cluster analysis by minor nutrient characteristics, crop rotation and application of animal manures and rice residues were linked at a high Ward's distance, while other practices were found to be relatively low distinct. Each soil management method has a similar or different effect on soil chemical properties. These results suggest the necessity of establishing limits and standards according to the effects of soil management methods on soil chemical properties for economic soil practices.

Long-term continuous application of livestock by-products to agricultural land may adversely affect the soil characteristics and the crop yield. Five year term study from 2007 was carried out to assess the effects of repeated application of low-concentration swine slurry on soil chemical properties including phosphate and heavy metal contents and yield of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) and cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) in a greenhouse. Treatments were conventional chemical fertilizers and three application rates of low-concentration swine slurry (Slurry composting and biofiltration, SCB): 50%, 100%, and 200% of recommended nitrogen fertilization. For swine slurry treatment of 50% nitrogen, deficient nitrogen was supplemented with urea fertilizer. The soil phosphorus and heavy metal contents after five year continuous application of swine slurry were not significantly higher than those of chemical fertilizer use. Repeated application of the swine slurry alone for five years resulted in relatively high soil exchangeable potassium and sodium compared with chemical fertilizer treatment. Contents of heavy metals in leaves of tomato and cucumber did not show significant difference among treatments. Yields of the crops for the swine slurry were not significantly different from that of chemical fertilizer. The results imply that continuous application of the swine slurry may not influence levels of soil phosphate and trace elements in greenhouse soils but could accumulate potassium and sodium in the soil.
Korean medicine has traditionally provided a lot of medical care for the treatment of infertility. The combination treatment of Korean medicine and Western medicine can be effective for infertility to improve the problems caused by the extremely low fertility rate and the aging of pregnant women. In relation to female infertility, we reviewed the evidence for Korean medicine treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome, which has recently been increasing interest in female infertility, and the evidence for the collaboration between Korean and Western medicine in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility. Because polycystic ovary syndrome is closely related to metabolic diseases related to endocrine abnormalities, hormone treatment alone has limited therapeutic effects and has side effects. In domestic and international research, herbal medicine and acupuncture in the treatment of infertility have shown good clinical effects based on the hypothesis of various mechanisms of effect, and many cases of successful pregnancy have been reported. Although continuous research through large-scale randomized clinical studies is needed to prove efficacy, the importance of combined treatment of Korean medicine and Western medicine in infertility treatment is increasing in order to solve the extremely low fertility rate. Combining artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization with Korean medicine treatment is highly likely to be effective in increasing pregnancy success and fertility rates. In women with polycystic ovary syndrome, which is recognized as a metabolic disease due to endocrine abnormalities among the causes of female infertility, Korean medicine treatment can increase the pregnancy rate with herbal medicines and acupuncture, etc. Although well-designed large-scale clinical studies are currently lacking and meta-analysis has not provided sufficient evidence, the combination treatment of Korean medicine and Western medicine is more active to increase the pregnancy rate for solving the problem of low fertility.
